As the clan leader of the Wind Clan and the lord of Salisbury, Aurora’s dwelling was naturally very elaborate, filled with a sense of elegance.
"Please, have a seat."
She invited Reiger and Altoria to sit, taking a position opposite them herself.
Koral stood silently behind Aurora, watching Reiger and Altoria with vigilant eyes.
Altoria aside, Reiger’s attention had already been captivated by Aurora sitting across from him.
Only now did Reiger have the opportunity to truly observe the clan leader of the Wind Clan.
She had a head of beautiful golden hair that obviously required a considerable amount of ti to manage, and wore an exquisite gown. Like Koral, she had butterfly-like wings on her back, and also pointy ears. These features were characteristic of the fairies of the Wind Clan, and the clan leader was no exception.
Her skin was pale, her figure tall and graceful, with every movent brimming with elegance. Even a re glance or smile from her released a breathtaking charm, and with the gentle smile always present on her face, unreservedly, she was the epito of a perfect lady. If soone called her a goddess, others would believe it without hesitation.
In fact, within the Fairy Country of Britain, this clan leader of the Wind Clan had always held imnse popularity.
Her status was second only to Queen Morgan, yet unlike Morgan’s cold and fearso deanor, she was gentle and kind.
She possessed a beauty comparable to Lancelot’s, yet unlike Lancelot’s aloofness, she was extrely approachable.
So said she was the most beautiful fairy.
So said she was the most gentle woman.
So said she was the kindest clan leader.
While the title of the most beautiful fairy was sowhat controversial due to the presence of Morgan and Lancelot, the labels of most gentle and most kind were universally acknowledged by all the fairies.
Thus, Tristan greatly disliked her, as that brutal Elf Knight thought Aurora was very hypocritical.
Thus, Woodworth admired her greatly, for she had always regarded him as a gentleman, softly playing the role of his understanding confidante.
Lancelot was very close to her in private.
Gawain had always been watching her.
Spurgen sotis frequented dealings with Aurora as well.
Even Mourine thought of Aurora as a woman who shouldn’t be taken lightly, often being wary of her.
That was a being adored by many fairies and watched by many more.
If popularity alone was the benchmark, she might be the strongest in the entire Fairy Country of Britain, surpassing even Lancelot.
Even Reiger had to admit that if a naïve young man laid eyes on the clan leader of the Wind Clan, he would almost certainly be heartstruck, falling in love at first sight, deeming her a goddess of his dreams, longing for her countless tis through the endless nights, utterly infatuated.
Interacting with such a magnificent lady, any person would unconsciously lower their guard, trust her, rely on her, and drop all their defenses against her.
Regrettably...
As a thought flashed through Reiger’s mind, Aurora spoke out.
"I am delighted."
With that, the clan leader of the Wind Clan closed her eyes and smiled gently.
"That you both could leave Calot safely is indeed a joyous matter," said Aurora. "When I learned that the Elf Knights had encountered you two and had engaged in combat, I was worried that you might co to harm. Now, it seems I was overly concerned. Even with all the Elf Knights mobilizing, trying to take on the child of prophecy and the foreign magician is no easy task."
Those words, those phrases, left Altoria feeling very conflicted.
She felt that she had hardly been any help at all.
When they encountered the Elf Knights, apart from stopping Tristan briefly, she could do nothing else. It was all thanks to Reiger facing Gawain alone that they managed to escape.
And herself?
She had only slightly held back Tristan, and was eventually saved by Lancelot’s intervention, preserving her life. How could Altoria not feel conflicted?
Of course, Reiger felt that Altoria’s enchantnts were also quite good. Thanks to her enchanting skills, he was able to dominate Gawain throughout the battle. Otherwise, facing the "ancestral" Gawain, he might have had a much harder ti securing victory.
But Altoria was unaware of these thoughts, so she honestly shared her own thoughts.
"The Elf Knights are very strong..."
As she spoke these words, Altoria inadvertently rembered a certain disgrace of an Elf Knight, which also made her speech slightly hesitant.
However, she continued on.
"If it were just up to , I would definitely not be able to stand against the Elf Knights. It’s all thanks to Reiger that we could fend off those Elf Knights."
These words elicited a light laugh from Aurora.
"I have no doubt about that," Aurora said to Reiger with a gentle smile. "Lord Reiger’s strength is witnessed by all fairies in the entire Fairy Country of Britain. My Salisbury has already proven this point."
Standing behind Aurora, Koral instantly cast a wary and hostile look towards Reiger.
