It was a strange feeling.
It was like being suddenly shoved while floating in mid-air. Reiger only felt that one second he was in a familiar place, and the next, his vision blurred as he was pushed into an unknown space.
For anyone else in this situation, they would only experience a mont of darkness, and then no other sensations.
But Reiger, because he possessed the knowledge of teleportation magic, had a faint sense that he was being transferred to another dinsion.
Indeed.
Reiger had left the ti and space he was in and entered another one.
He hadn’t just traversed space, but also ti.
Whether it was teleportation magic or ti magic, Reiger had so involvent with both, so he didn’t feel unfamiliar with his current state.
Having already anticipated and guessed as much, Reiger calmly accepted his situation and opened his eyes.
When he opened his eyes, the first thing that ca into view was a stretch of coastline.
At this mont, he found himself on an unknown coast.
Surrounding him was dense fog.
In his ears was the sound of waves.
In front of him was the sea.
Behind him was a forest.
This place sowhat resembled the coast near the Naless Forest, yet it was discernibly different; it could only be described as an unknown coast.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t just Reiger who ca here, but also a gigantic shadow towering into the clouds.
"「■■■■■■■■■■■■」"
Amid the terrifying aura of a curse, the monster with deer horns underwent a transformation.
Initially, it was just a mass of pure black fluff that seed like the torso of a beast with deer horns.
But now, its body writhed, and its torso began to split, rapidly extending nurous branch-like arms, significantly altering its appearance.
Now, instead of a monster, it would be more accurate to describe it as a plant-like entity, neither tree nor hand.
This was the true form of Norich’s "Calamity," entirely composed of curses — "The Hand."
"Boom!!!"
When that branch-like giant hand descended from the sky and smashed into the ground, the unknown coast was shaken.
Sand and stones surged.
The fog stirred.
The ground collapsed.
The air trembled.
The thunderous roar echoed across the entire coastline, even pushing back the incoming waves and raising high tides on the sea surface.
Norich’s "Calamity" launched an attack on the insignificant, ant-like Reiger without hesitation, not sparing even half of the coast from destruction.
"Whoosh!"
At that mont, a sound of sothing tearing through the air appeared high above.
Reiger, who should have been engulfed by the cursed hand, now appeared here, suspended in a position even higher than the "Calamity," looking down with cold eyes at the ominous creature of curses.
"Bang!"
The next instant, Reiger shattered the air, turning into a streak of firelight as he dived down.
"Bone-Burning Sun!"
Flas surged violently, swirling into a vortex of fire, like a fiery tornado descending from the sky, and in an instant, it hit Norich’s "Calamity."
"Boom!"
The fierce flas, enough to swallow half a street, exploded upon Norich’s "Calamity," like fireworks on a giant’s body, failing even to make the foe take a single step back.
However, this strike visibly agitated it, causing each of the cursed hands on Norich’s "Calamity" to beco violent. They stirred the atmosphere while reaching out towards Reiger’s position, seemingly preparing to capture him.
It must be said, the "Calamity" of Norich’s movent pattern was simple, but its presence was quite terrifying.
Being targeted by those cursed hands, Reiger felt as if he was being pursued uncompromisingly by giants reaching out for him incessantly, attempting to swat him like a fly. If caught, one could only imagine the consequences.
The curse’s aura emanating from "The Calamity" was constantly affecting people’s spirits, although it was unclear whether it targeted all living creatures or only fairies.
Fortunately, regardless of who it targeted, Reiger, utterly immune to ntal interference, was unaffected and thus transford into a streak of firelight, weaving through the many cursed hands, continuously evading the "Calamity’s" attacks.
"Triple Enhancent·Radiant Brilliance!"
While continuously dodging the Curse’s grasp, Reiger also seized the opportunity to launch a holy attribute magic attack at "Calamity."
"Boom!"
"Boom!"
"Boom!"
In an instant, blinding brilliance surged up from beneath "Calamity" three tis in succession, enveloping it as if laser cannons were being fired from underground, continuously bombarding it with a torrent of light that purified its body.
"’■■■■■■■■■■■■’"
Engulfed by the torrent of light, "Calamity" began to tremble violently, with black smoke billowing from its body.
As a condensed form of curses, holy attribute attacks caused extraordinary damage and effects on it, not to ntion Reiger’s skill-enhanced special attack ability firmly restrained the monster.
Thus, Reiger began casting magic furiously.
"Triple Enhancent·Radiant Brilliance!"
"Triple Enhancent·Radiant Brilliance!"
"Triple Enhancent·Radiant Brilliance!"
An endless flood of light erupted beneath "Calamity," striking it over and over again, making the black smoke that rose from its body even denser.
Reiger seed to possess an inexhaustible reserve of Magic Power, endlessly unleashing divine magic on "Calamity."
The damage inflicted upon "Calamity" was so massive it began to show signs of berserk behavior, its Curse hands moving faster and more violently, occasionally whipping up waves of Curse fluctuations like a demon’s sigh, blasting toward Reiger.
These Curse fluctuations did pose a significant threat to Reiger.
Undoubtedly, this "Calamity" born in Norwich was powerful, so much so that even people like Altoria, upon first seeing it, didn’t think of resisting, but felt powerless to do anything but await death.
Perhaps it wasn’t as strong as the juvenile form of the beast of human malice, but in terms of sheer horror, it was definitely more than a match.
Its strength was definitely superior to Reiger’s, but that didn’t an it lacked weaknesses.
Just like the giant guardians within the beast of the underground Yarakulon, and akin to the floor masters in the underground city of Earth Mistake World, Norwich’s "Calamity" was incredibly strong but only in one or two specific areas, while its abilities in other areas were rather ordinary.
Take this "Calamity," for example, it was always moving at an extrely slow pace; with its massive body, it was nothing more than a sitting duck, entirely incapable of evading Reiger’s assaults.
The speed of its Curse hands wasn’t slow, but still not fast enough to catch up with Reiger, who mastered explosive speed techniques.
This kind of opponent couldn’t threaten Reiger. It could only beco a punching bag, gradually whittled down by Reiger’s attacks until death.
Therefore, the "Calamity" of Norwich was an insurmountable monster for others, but for Reiger, it was just a doll with a bit more health that he could take his ti to deal with.
But the "Calamity’s" Curse wave attacks were unlike its slow movents.
The Curse fluctuations only violently undulated once on the Curse hands when they appeared and then surged toward Reiger at an astonishing speed, almost hitting him unawares.
With "Calamity’s" power, if its attack missed Reiger, it was fine, but if it hit, the damage would be on par with High Yanscaya incarnated as the beast of play.
And in the instance with High Yanscaya, Reiger nearly perished under her barrage of attacks. If not for his tily deploynt of defense magic, he would have definitely triggered the second effect of loaith’s blessing, causing ti to reverse and reverting him to an unhard state.
The invincible effect of loaith’s blessing had been used up during his battle with Woodworth, so now Reiger definitely didn’t want to be hit by "Calamity’s" attack and sustain severe injuries again.
"Attribute Nullification!"
In that instant, Reiger activated a defensive spell while also harnessing the power of the Dragon’s Secret Treasure, abruptly boosting his strength to desperately dodge the Curse’s volatile attacks.
Man and monster embarked on a trendous battle on the coast that was earth-shattering, causing such chaos that the coastline began to fracture, and the waves rose one after another, roaring ti and again.
If such a battle were to take place in the original era, Norwich would have followed the fate of Salisbury, with half the city turning into ruins.
Luckily, it was just a coastline here, and no matter how fiercely the man and monster fought, it would not affect anyone else.
And so, Reiger tried his utmost to attack the colossal beast that crushed the coastline, causing black smoke to continually erge from its body, and as its huge fra shrank and beca more violent, its attacks grew cruder. The Curse hands and fluctuations swept the surrounding area, stripping away a part of the neighboring forest.
In this fierce battle that lasted roughly two hours, an outco finally erged.
"Boom!"
With another torrent of light strike that couldn’t be counted, the battered "Calamity" eventually fell, crashing down like a toppling column of the heavens, causing a shower of rubble and dust.
Reiger still hovered in the air, with countless overlapping arrays surrounding him, forming a colossal do-shaped Array, illuminating the area with dazzling light.
"’■■■■■■■■■■■■’"
The monster roared, trying to get up, to retaliate, but due to its slow movents, it was Reiger who managed to endure the lengthy preparation ti for his transcendental magic first.
"Skyfall!"
The do-shaped Array encircling Reiger expanded rapidly, and a grandiose column of light descended from the heavens, striking down on "Calamity."
In an instant, scorching streams of high temperatures evaporated everything, completely leveling the area, leaving nothing behind.
