If the Jinnas Kingdom were plunged into unending internal turmoil, the Leiblu Kingdom would definitely take action to invade and subjugate Jinnas Kingdom in one fell swoop.
And when facing the threat of an equally powerful nation, if Jinnas Kingdom were truly embroiled in civil war, it would undoubtedly have no capability to resist.
Perhaps this is also the reason why the royal faction and the Duke faction have not yet engaged in full-scale conflict?
Both parties knew that once they engaged in all-out conflict, the ultimate benefactor would be neither of them, thus both the royal faction and the Duke faction, though opposed, have been sowhat restrained, at least for now.
Of course, Reiger had no interest in such matters.
"Could that first queen be a descendant of the Tistis family?"
Reiger was interested in this type of thing.
Marilyn however gave an explanation.
"It is said that the initial queen of the Tistis Kingdom originally ca from a very powerful tribe in the north, where she was a leader-like figure."
Marilyn thus spoke.
"Zinnia encountered that tribe during the last period before its extinction, and they were drawn to the queen who ca from that tribe."
What sort of turbulence passed between them, nobody knows.
But according to historical records, after that, the tribe integrated into Zinnia, and the tribe’s queen was thus elevated to the throne by Zinnia’s leaders.
"It is heard that when she ascended to the throne, the first queen was already a mighty Sword Saint."
"She first used her power to repel the covetous nations near Zinnia, then began to reform and majorly revitalize the country, allowing Zinnia to be reborn within a few short years."
"Her prestige was unmatched at the ti to such an extent that when she called, many tribes of the north willingly submitted to her, continually integrating into Zinnia."
After decades of such vigorous developnt, Zinnia smoothly beca one of the four major kingdoms on the continent and then officially renad itself as the Tistis Kingdom, regarding the queen at the ti as the nation-establishing first queen, almost commanding the entire north.
"During the reign of the first queen, the Tistis Kingdom could be said to have been the hegemon of the north, with even the neighboring smaller countries showing signs of allegiance."
"If it had continued like that, the entire northern part of the continent might have been subsud under the Tistis Kingdom, making it a second Walker Kingdom."
The Walker Kingdom then dominated the entire south, making the southern countries submit to it and becoming its satellite states.
The Tistis Kingdom initially had such a prospect too.
Regrettably...
"After the establishnt of the Tistis Kingdom, the first queen’s health seed to rapidly decline, and she passed away from illness at the age of 55."
"Although the Tistis royalty quickly supported the accession of the second queen, she was considerably less distinguished compared to the first queen."
"Thus, the Tistis Kingdom never managed to rule the entire northern part of the continent, and the many small nations of the north thereafter settled down, no longer considering submission."
"In the centuries that followed, the Tistis Kingdom always appeared diocre, never again possessing the decisiveness of the first queen when she was in power."
This ant that the splendor of the Tistis Kingdom was almost entirely built upon the first queen.
After the first queen, the Tistis Kingdom, although not collapsing entirely, no longer had the power to unify the north, resulting in the stabilization of the situation in the north.
And now, hundreds of years later, the state of the Tistis Kingdom has finally begun to decline, facing internal and external troubles.
"Many believe that the next great kingdom to disappear will not be either the combatant Jinnas Kingdom or the Leiblu Kingdom, but this once hegemon of the north — the Tistis Kingdom."
Marilyn concluded with this statent.
Upon hearing this, Reiger finally understood the instability of the Tistis Kingdom.
The current situation on the continent of Akasha was actually quite clear.
To the south was the Walker Kingdom, a dominant power reigning over the entire southern continent; the countries in the south were basically vassals of the Walker Kingdom. With geographical advantages, the Walker Kingdom had beco the strongest and most peaceful nation on the continent, completely deterring anyone from overstepping boundaries.
In the central region, the Ginna Kingdom and Leiblu Kingdom were the leaders, with these two nations at odds with each other. The surrounding smaller countries, caught between them, were desperately trying to survive, living in constant fear and trepidation, like walking on thin ice.
To the north, the Tistis Kingdom used to dictate terms unopposed, but the situation had changed. Due to internal strife in the Tistis Kingdom, the northern countries were becoming restless, eager to bite off a chunk of this ’fatty at’, and so even dreamt of becoming the next major power.
As for the east and west, these regions were mostly occupied by the Ginna Kingdom and Leiblu Kingdom. The remaining areas were uninhabitable wildlands, deserts, forests, marshes, and even volcanic areas, inhabited only by magical creatures.
This was the overall situation of Akasha at the mont.
Having understood this situation, Reiger had previously thought that the central part of the continent, where the Ginna Kingdom and Leiblu Kingdom were located, was the most chaotic. After all, these were the only two opposing major powers.
But now, it seed that the situation in the northern part of the continent was much more critical than in the central region, with the potential to disrupt the current international situation and plunge into complete chaos at any mont.
"By the way, many smaller northern countries have been in contact a lot with each other in recent years, apparently formulating an alliance."
Marilyn dropped yet another bombshell.
"Many people believe that if this alliance is established, there’s a possibility that the northern countries might invade the Tistis Kingdom en masse."
This was no longer a situation that could be described as internal and external troubles, but a true national crisis.
Unfortunately, the Tistis Kingdom seed unable to respond accordingly at the mont.
"I don’t know what the current queen is thinking. She has done nothing about this situation, seemingly acquiescing to the conflict between the factions of the prince and the princess. She herself hasn’t publicly appeared in several years, staying deep inside the palace in Urvasi, the capital of the Tistis Kingdom."
Yuri finally spoke to Reiger.
"If you plan to go to the Tistis Kingdom, you’d better be careful. It might even be more chaotic than the pros territories and the Neutral Zone."
Hearing this, Reiger fell into deep thought once again.
Should he make a trip to the Tistis Kingdom?
Reiger felt hesitant.
Civil strife and such didn’t really concern him, but the Tistis Kingdom was located in the northern part of the continent, and getting there from Ginna Kingdom wasn’t just a matter of a few days.
He could travel from the capital Yerluf to the border of pros in a few days’ ti because the Ginna Kingdom had canals that connected various territories.
If there were no canals, traveling from the capital, Yerluf to pros by carriage, even without sleep, would probably take months.
And from the northern border of the kingdom to the Tistis Kingdom, there was no canal to utilize in between.
If Reiger wanted to make a trip to the Tistis Kingdom, he would either spend a lot of ti on the road or would have to find a way to use "Teleportation Gate," a high-level magic transportation spell with almost limitless distance and virtually no restrictions.
Reiger certainly did not want to spend a lot of ti traveling.
"In that case, I must find a way to make good use of the ’Teleportation Gate.’"
Reiger thought.
To use the "Teleportation Gate" to go to the Tistis Kingdom, it wasn’t necessary to have personally reached that place once.
As long as he knew the exact coordinates, Reiger could open a gate to there.
"Send the fastest flying summon to go full speed, and once it reaches the Tistis Kingdom, I can use the psychic connection to summon to pinpoint and open the ’Teleportation Gate.’"
Alternatively, Reiger could try to contact a person in the Tistis Kingdom using "ssage" and then use the location from the "ssage" to open the "Teleportation Gate."
