In ancient tis, Zhuang Zhou dreamt he was a butterfly, upon awakening, he could not tell if he had been a man dreaming he was a butterfly or if he was now a butterfly dreaming it was himself.

This was more or less how Reiger felt now.

Waking up from a sowhat familiar bed, in a mont of haziness, Reiger actually had an instant where he didn’t know whether the over three months he spent in that labyrinthine city nad Orlai were real or a dream, or if his current self was the new person from the Loki clan dreaming.

Fortunately, the slowly spinning transparent cube in his mind told Reiger that regardless of whether it was his self in this world or the other, both were real.

"Huh!"

Reiger then sat up, his eyes gradually regaining clarity.

He moved his limbs slightly, feeling just like he did in the Earth Mistake World, filled with a strength his past self of a little over three months ago never had.

"It really ca back with ."

Feeling the presence of that power and the slight scorching sensation coming from his back, Reiger knew that right now, on his back, a miracle nad "gumi" was inscribed.

That was the result of Reiger’s struggles in the Earth Mistake World for over three months, now he carried with him everything into this world, without any sense of discomfort or incongruity.

As for the Divine Blood and the Fool and Hermit twin swords he chose to bring back, they were now quietly lying in the storage space of the Dinsional Cube, waiting at any mont for Reiger to take them out.

All of this was telling Reiger that the three-plus months he had experienced in the Earth Mistake World were not in vain.

Those efforts now fully transford into Reiger’s strength, becoming the capital he needed to survive in this world.

Thinking of this, Reiger’s lips curved slightly upwards, he uncovered the bed sheets and got out of bed.

This was the first ti Reiger had stepped out of bed in this world.

When he first arrived in this world, he had been recuperating in this bed for an entire month without ever having the chance to step down.

"If I had the strength I have now at that ti, I wouldn’t have had to lie in bed for a whole month."

The injuries from that ti were sothing a "Diya Flatel" could easily have dealt with for the current Reiger.

Unfortunately, the Reiger of that ti had no strength whatsoever and even the Dinsional Cube’s energy had not been filled to one month’s worth of use, so even attempting Dinsional Travel was out of the question.

Just as Reiger was about to walk up to the window to draw the curtains and take a good look at the outside world, there ca a knock on the door.

"Mr. Reiger, are you awake?"

It was the voice of a servant working in the mansion.

The person seed to be in charge of bringing Reiger his als; during the month he recuperated here, the polite knocking was what Reiger heard the most.

"I am awake, co in."

Reiger’s reply was exceedingly natural, as if he had never left the room from beginning to end.

The servant outside seed to breathe a sigh of relief and opened the door.

"You are able to get out of bed now?" The servant, seeing Reiger standing by the bed, said, "That’s really great!"

"Thank you for your trouble these days." Reiger thanked the person and asked, "How about your miss? Where is she?"

"The miss is in the courtyard." The servant replied most respectfully, "The miss said, if Mr. Reiger wakes up and is able to walk around, he can find her in the courtyard."

"I understand." Reiger nodded, looking over his entire outfit, he said, "Could I trouble you for a set of clothes?"

Due to lying in bed to recover, what Reiger was wearing wasn’t suitable for going outside but was more akin to pajamas or hospital garb—intimately fitted clothing.

Yuri, with her distinguished identity, was also his benefactor; now that he had fully recovered, he couldn’t continue to et her in such attire.

"Please wait a mont."

The servant, as if well-prepared, left for a while and returned with a set of clothes in hand.

"These are clothes Miss prepared for you."

The servant handed the clothes to Reiger and even seed ready to help Reiger get changed.

No, thank you, I can do it myself."

Reiger politely declined the offer.

The servant had taken care of all of Reiger’s needs for a month, and Reiger really did not want to inconvenience them further.

"Then I shall take my leave."

The servant did not insist and, after a courteous bow, left the room.

Reiger changed into the clothes and found this outfit to be surprisingly luxurious.

"...Why does it look so much like sothing nobility would wear?"

Reiger, looking at his reflection in the window glass, was sowhat at a loss for words.

The outfit was like a courtly garnt, opulent with a white base and purple patterns, adorned with nurous pendants and chains for decoration, transforming Reiger, who had seed sowhat frail, into soone resembling a dieval European noble.

This kind of attire, which looked quite extravagant and could even be considered ostentatious, brought up so not-so-pleasant mories for Reiger.

In his previous life, Reiger had no shortage of occasions to wear such haughty garnts, mixing in various social contexts.

But he never felt accustod to it, even finding it tireso and unpleasant.

"Forget it, a beggar cannot be a chooser." Reiger sighed, pushing aside his thoughts about the garb, and left the room.

This was also the first ti Reiger had stepped out of this room, taking a solid and aningful step toward the world.

He really wanted to see what this world was truly like.

...

The mansion where Reiger was staying was a rather luxurious estate.

As Reiger walked around a bit, he found that the mansion was much bigger than he had previously imagined.

In terms of the area it covered, the mansion was much larger than the Twilight Pavilion.

Although the Twilight Pavilion was also large, its footprint wasn’t actually that wide; it was built as a series of tall towers extending upward, which is why it had such a vast actual space.

The opposite was true for this mansion.

It was not tall, comparable in height to a four-story building, with the first floor being relatively taller and the other three not being particularly high.

However, the footprint of the mansion was extrely wide, not only long and wide, but also with a surrounding courtyard spread out around the estate.

In the courtyard, there were green plants, flower beds, fountains, small pavilions, and even two andering streams, much like a manor.

Yet, such a manor was just a secondary residence for the Franzel family, not the main house.

Reiger searched through his mories and recalled the knowledge of this world.

The place he was now, was in the kingdom located in the eastern part of the Akasha Continent——Ginas.

The Akasha Continent was an extrely vast land, ho to many nations.

Among these nations, most were small kingdoms that claid their territory, while there were only four major countries.

The Kingdom of Ginas was one of these four major countries, boasting wide territories, rich resources, and a highly developed magic civilization; it was considered one of the few leading Magic-guided Countries in this world.

The Franzel family belonged to the nobility of the Kingdom of Ginas, and they were also a Marquisate.

What did this imply?

Quite simply.

In this world, regardless of the country, the royal family was the most supre ruler, the master of the nation.

Below the royal family were the nobles, each one endowed with privileges determined by the rank of their peerage.

Among these, Dukes, Marquises, and Earls were high-ranking noble titles, enjoying the highest level of privileges within the country.

Viscounts and Barons were lesser nobles, who, although not as exalted as the forr three, still held much higher status and nobility than commoners and rchants.

Furthermore, the highest rank among nobles, with the greatest privileges, Duke, was a peerage only bestowed upon collateral relatives of the royal family, that is, mbers of the extended royal household.

In other words, Marquis was the highest peerage rank that ordinary people could attain, with status and rights second only to the royal family and its collateral relatives.

The Franzel family was a Marquis family of the Kingdom of Ginas.

Thus, it was evident how prestigious Yuri’s identity was.

Of course, Yuri was not distinguished solely by being born into a Marquis family.

According to the original host’s mory, Reiger had only one opinion of Yuri.

"This person is definitely one of the most incredible figures in this world."

This assessnt, even now, Reiger had never changed.

With this thought in mind, Reiger stepped out of the mansion and into the courtyard.

The courtyard was large and spacious, and finding soone here was no easy task.

Reiger was not in a hurry; he took a casual stroll before eventually finding his target in a pavilion.

"Reiger!"

The person calling out to Reiger was the mistress of the mansion herself——Yuri Franzel.

The young mistress of the noble family, similar in age to Reiger, was still in a rather easy-to-move dress, emanating a noble aura from head to toe, with her bright silver waist-length hair cascading down her back, as pleasant to the eye as ever, as elegant and beautiful as always.

The beautiful noble miss was sitting in the pavilion, apparently enjoying afternoon tea, her lovely eyes watching Reiger, appearing to be in a good mood.

Standing beside Yuri was a maid.

The maid, also of an age similar to Reiger’s, most likely below 20, was not particularly tall, shorter than Reiger by a head, but had a graceful figure and very outstanding features. However, she seed sowhat aloof and assertive; if one disregarded the teapot in her hand and her attire, most people would believe it if she were said to be a female knight.

Reiger was not unfamiliar with this maid.

She was Yuri’s personal maid, always attending by her side, specifically responsible for serving Yuri, nad Marilyn Inpesh.

When Reiger approached, the maid noticed him too but only glanced at him briefly before ignoring his presence.

Reiger did likewise, giving her a glance before approaching Yuri.

"You’re wearing a nice outfit, and you seem to be in good spirits; it looks like you’ve completely recovered."

Yuri displayed a beautiful smile to Reiger.

"Thanks to you," Reiger replied with a faint smile to Yuri.

"Have a seat,"

Yuri gestured to the spot opposite her.

Reiger, without any hesitation, sat down in front of Yuri.

The two had known each other for so ti now, and only today did they finally have the opportunity to sit down and have a proper talk.
