Clamoring into the cavern were five twisted, gnarled humanoid beings that were straight out of nightmares; pale, almost snow white skin glimred in the dim light, emphasizing the lean, taut muscle that was akin to a spring, hiding trendous power in their twisted fras.

Long bony claws adorned their hands and feet, scraping against the stone and sending out eerie, unnerving screeches that echoed around repeatedly in the cavern, helping these faceless monsters ’hunt’.

No eyes, no noses, just a gigantic fanged maw that was constantly loose, ready to tear into the flesh of whatever prey they could find to try and sustain themselves; spreading out, the monsters - easily over seven feet in height yet constantly leaning over to tap at the ground - walked around the cavern and snarled at one another, relying on the sound to ’communicate’.

One of them got close, and I tried my hardest to keep everything inside of myself, staring not at them but instead at Taji, who was still grinning at as she remained completely still; if I knew I was going to die or be sullied by her I would shout, and she knew it.

Yet we both knew that I wouldn’t, and we both knew that these things were far more dangerous than we were prepared to handle; in the ga they were just classified as ’hunters’ deep inside of Dungeons, and encountering them ant being sent back to a previous save.

Level 80 with stats belonging to maxed out monsters, these Raveners were best avoided even in the end ga, and for personally they were just... to be avoided no matter what because they were more trouble than they were worth.

Drooling and clicking its claws against the stone around us, the Ravener paused for a mont and almost gave a heart attack as it slowly turned towards us, but thankfully a loud crash from nearby had the monster rushing straight towards the sound of the noise.

Another crash deep inside of the caverns had them running out of here, and after they were gone Taji snickered and said "That’s why you listen, Natalie... and it’s why I was so~ boisterous not so long ago..."

My snarl - very quiet, yet still clear snarl - was enough to make the Hyenakin grin ear to ear, her eyes brimming with intrigue and amusent as she leaned closer and whispered "So goddess damned interesting... If I can’t have you in my bed soon I might just snap~!"

The way she offered her hand and acted like she hadn’t just revealed so much about herself unsettled , yet at the sa ti there was a part of - deep and hidden away most of the ti - that found this level of dedication... sowhat charming.
