There were quite a few of us streaming into the quiet classroom ten minutes before the class even started, aning that I had a bit of a ’hard ti’ picking where I was going to sit since everyone else was already picking their own seats.
Most had clear ’territories’ that they were claiming, putting their bags, books and anything else they were carrying with them on the desks nearby, occupying the seats and not looking that sociable... though it was still the morning so who knows.
That left with a few options to pick from, and while I could ’try’ my hardest and take a front row seat I was definitely not ready for that kind of ntal ’pressure’ just yet, so I chose one of the seats on the edge of one of the middle rows, keeping myself to just one person beside and with not a lot of people behind .
I had my own notebooks and so stationary that the Academy had provided, but otherwise I had nothing else with , which filled with a bit of worry as I saw all the random things being brought in by everyone else...
Those ten minutes ticked by slowly as I just sat quietly in my seat, keeping to myself and trying to see if I could recognize anyone that was in this class with ... and hoping that those that I did recognize were amongst the ones that I wanted to beco closer to.
There was a tall Elf that I recognized as a rather elegant and lethal ’Bladedancer’ that was always yearning to be on the side of justice sitting beside a short, slightly chubby red haired Human with freckles that was trying her hardest to make the Elf smile.
Lusamine - the Elf - was a woman who spoke rarely and definitely didn’t joke around too much, while the overly energetic red head - Maeve - Human futanari loved to crack jokes and especially enjoyed telling everyone how rich her family was.
More so because they made a tric fuck ton of money every year selling weapons to literally everyone and she herself was a pretty good smith and rchant, so she had a sowhat justified inflation of her own ego.
She also thought that she could maybe make the sale of a lifeti if she sold to the Bladedancer that was training to beco the best of the best, and there was also the obvious desire to get beneath that Bladedancer’s battle garb to ’deepen the relations between Elves and Humans’.
Why Lusamine tolerated the arrogant, boisterous and unapologetically horny red head was left up for debate in the beginning, but many thought it was just to showcase a relationship between a sowhat ’unattractive’ futanari and an ethereal Elf.
Besides them there was a gorgeous Ravenkin woman who was wearing quite the revealing dress; a low cut, skin tight black dress clung to her slender body, showing off her perky breasts and not caring at all that everyone was sneaking peeks at her smooth pale skin.
That was an Aspiring Priestess of one of the many Aviankin tribes that road around the continent freely nad Morgana that knew a plethora of ’dark magic’ spells and was an excellent enchanter... and also quite the manipulative seductress.
My rumination was interrupted by the arrival of our Professor, who walked in with a cart of books and the most radiant smile ever, quieting everyone down just by entering the classroom; Professor Hollishire was as beautiful as I rembered, and imdiately I was determined to be a very good student.
Long silver hair that was pinned into a tight braid cascaded over her shoulder and onto her shapely chest, which her black cardigan did little to conceal; her rich olive skin was glowing, with only a few wrinkles really emphasizing her age, and then there were her soft brown eyes that were so easy to lose yourself in...
"Welco everyone~! I hope you all enjoyed the few days of quiet before classes started, and I also hope that you all are ready to learn about Civilization and Society~! When I call your na please co up and get the textbook, that way I can put nas to faces."
Standing in the front of the class and looking around, she began to list out nas so that she could hand out the textbooks, sharing a smile and a few words with everyone when she did so; when I approached she said "Congratulations on making it in, Natalie~! I saw you were one of the few Commoner Scholarships in my class this year~!" I felt a little embarrassed by that, but I also really enjoyed her smile...
Goddess above I was being sowhat stupid with this, but it really was hard to not be taken aback by soone as beautiful as her... but I kept myself from being too embarrassing and instead smiled back, saying "Thank you Professor! I hope to learn a lot from you!"
She just kept smiling and watched as I went back to my seat before handing out the rest, taking the ti to morize our faces before finally walking over towards the large chalkboard, where she began to write sothing down.
"Now everyone, the textbook before you will be what we primarily use all year long, which will go over a majority of the civilizations found all around Mythia. As for the tifra, we will start with two millennia back and work our way to the modern day.
So civilizations will be looked at in far more detail than others, and I apologize in advance if you are from or related to any of the ones that we only discuss in passing or for a class or two. We simply do not have the ti to cover everything in depth... and since this is an overarching class revolving around all history..."
Taking a step back from the board, Professor Hollishire revealed a multitude of bullet points and gave us a mont to read them ourselves before she went more in depth, captivating us with her silky voice and filling with appreciation that this was going to be my first class of the day, every single day for the next year.
