"Now everyone, introduce yourselves to one another and begin discussing the various relations between the four primary powers of the continent. You’ll have five minutes to discuss in groups of your choosing before being called on to explain your discussions."

Giving another smile and looking around at the class, Professor Hollishire clapped once and then gestured for us to get up and begin speaking to one another, causing a cacophony of squeaks to fill the room as everyone pushed their chairs back.

Before I could make a decision on who I wanted to talk to, two people approached imdiately; the towering, burly yet well spoken Orc Lu’Shaki, as well as the very interested Ravenkin woman who was staring at with a small, alluring smile.

"Your na is Natalie, correct? You must have studied hard before coming here... not many care to ntion the Mooncaller’s Glade being ’inactive’ for so many centuries."

Morgana’s smile widened as she stared at closer, her voice tickling my ears a little as she waited for a reply, only to purse her lips as Lu’Shaki interjected, the Orc leaning against a desk as she looked up and down.

"What do you think the relationship between the Elven Forests and the Dwarven Queendom is like? Historically speaking, of course."

Lu’Shaki was trying to test now, though as she did so she drank in my appearance and gave an almost unnoticeable nod that ward up inside - not the fuzzy kind of warmth, but the horny, ’I want her dick’ sort of warmth - which made blush a little.

"Um... Historically they’ve had more ti as enemies than they have as allies, but there were also periods way back when, where they were reluctant allies or had tis of fragile peace for a short while."

"Even then I wouldn’t call those peaceful tis between the two..."

The Orc looked down at the Aspiring Priestess and asked "Then what would you call it if not ’fragile peace’? There were no wars and little hostility. They even had trade established between them.", making Morgana frown.

"Um... so we can agree that they weren’t the best of friends for a majority of the ti, and even now they are reluctantly at peace. So... what else? The Human Empires and the Confederation are still at odds today, the Elven Forests don’t particularly like the Confederation either, and the Dwarven Queendom keeps to themselves if possible."

Both of the non Humans turned towards after that, their little bout of glaring at one another over as I brought them back around to the subject at hand; the way Morgana’s smile soured a little because of Lu’Shaki was a bit... interesting, especially since the Ravenkin didn’t step away from her or show any signs of disliking the Orc.

I was definitely reading far too deeply into that though, so I just focused on the discussion at hand as well, which Lu’Shaki continued as she said "For modern tis everyone is at a peaceful state with one another for the most part. The wars two decades ago between the Confederation and the Human Empires has muddled things sowhat, and the Dwarven Queendom isn’t... as loved as they used to be since they supply everyone."

"Well, the entire problem with the Confederation stems from one thing, and that’s the fact that it is comprised of dozens of different cultures and belief systems that don’t always align. It’s less of a structured force and more of a bunch of firm handshakes with a promise to not backstab one another."

Despite being from a group that was inside of the Confederation, Morgana didn’t even attempt to mince her words on how she felt regarding them, causing Lu’Shaki to grunt as she looked back at the Ravenkin.

"Ah, also there are the vast amounts of individual conflicts between the various smaller factions within each of the major powers that love or hate one another, making things more complex. But... to give our Professor an answer if she asks..?"

"Currently there are no wars, but the consensus that the Confederation is ’problematic’ is definitely valid. As for the relations between the Human Empires and the Elven Forests, its strained due to the Elves being haughty."

Lu’Shaki was proving to be more and more knowledgeable with every passing second, while Morgana decided she wanted to match the Orc as much as she could when she added "And the Dwarven Queendom doesn’t like the Elves that much either because of their obvious difference in lifestyle."

I took a breath and mapped out the continent to the best of my abilities inside of my head, imagining the political lines that would show good will, neutrality and distrust between everyone, which imdiately had smiling wryly.

"It really is a fragile peace right now. Well, that only makes more relieved that I got into the Academy."

"What, you don’t like the idea of roaming around whatever city you ca from and one day getting besieged by Orcs? Or perhaps watching the growing tensions between the Elves and Dwarves boil over into your lands?"

The black haired Aspiring Priestess gave a sultry smile as she added "That’s the benefit of the Confederation though; everyone hates everyone else equally, and we’re open about it.", making Lu’Shaki grunt in agreent.

"That and we’re very~ open to taking people in... for the right ’price’, of course~!"

Her purple hued eyes were filled with a heat that made blush as she looked over again, and with Lu’Shaki just nodding once before peeking over at the Ravenkin’s displayed cleavage I had to wonder if they were mainly here to try and get into my pants...

And I also realized imdiately that I was hoping that Morgana wanted to because she was quite the beauty... while I was also thinking that I was sort of looking forwards to trying so Orc dick sooner rather than later, that way I could compare it to my friendly Draconian...

"Alright~! Everyone back to your seats, let’s get this discussion going! Hmm... Morgana, tell about the relations of the Elven Forests."

The Ravenkin lounged in her chair, stretching herself out for a mont and just so happening to flaunt her long, slender legs and perky breasts before she finally said "They’re sowhat strained with the Human Empires thanks to their more... isolationist ntality, they are at odds with the Dwarven Queendom openly, and the view they have on the Confederation is... mixed."

Professor Hollishire was smiling again as she nodded and said "Correct, correct, and I would like you to explain that last point for the class please~!" before gesturing for Morgana to continue, taking that mont to jot things down on the board.

"Elves and Orcs are typically on unfriendly terms thanks to the long history of... bloodshed and forced abductions, to put it lightly. However the Elves value and respect the Canine Packs and Herds a lot due to their long standing Shamanic practices and their relationship with nature.

As for the Serpentine Dens, they don’t dislike nor like them, which ans that as a collective they generally like a decent size of the Confederation, despise a specific group of them, and are neutral against the rest. This makes things complicated between the Elven Forests and the Confederation of Fangs."

"Very good, very good~! Yes, there is no love lost between the Orcs and the Elves, for better or for worse. This year we will be discussing a few of the events that have created this long storied feud between the two, and I will be doing my best to take a look at it through both sides, so for those of you who think one is right and the other is wrong..."

Turning back to us with a bit of a sad smile this ti, Professor Hollishire clasped her hands together and said "Try not to bring any hostility into my classroom, alright? I am neither advocating for or against anything at all, rely looking at the facts as they are written by both sides. We will also occasionally take a look at how the Dwarves and Humans view the feud for a more ’neutral’ stance."

Looking us all over again, the Professor nodded once more and began to call on the next person to explain the relations that the Human Empires held, having us go over everything and showing us how the outlook that each faction had could help dictate how they acted to certain things.

Everything was rather ’shallow’ for this first class, but it was very engaging and sothing I was very much enjoying, almost to the point that I was sowhat saddened when the clocks chid at 9:30.

Packing up my things and watching everyone else leave first, I stayed behind just to thank Professor Hollishire for such a fascinating start to the year, as well as letting her know that I was very much looking forwards to learning more under her.

Having her smile at so more definitely made the morning better, and as I walked out I found myself staring up at Lu’Shaki, who had waited near the door for one reason or another...
