Just as they were leaving, a sudden rumble shook the entire black market. Chen Shu looked up to see two contract spirits battling in a distant street: a fiery red giant bird with flas flickering on its talons, and a two-ter-tall, solid-black shadow.
The two fought ferociously.
Though the red bird had the advantage of flight, it was being suppressed by the shadow, which extended a black line like a rope to bind the firebird.
Not far away, Xu Xiaoyu's expression was ugly. She hadn't expected to encounter such danger in the black market, where her A-rank Fire Bird was now being overwheld.
"Soone actually dares release contract spirits to cause trouble? The Spirit Suppression Bureau will be sure to arrive soon."
People discussed among themselves while keeping away from that street, and though there were high-level Beast Tars in the black market, they clearly didn't want to get involved.
The Beast Tar controlling the shadow was already Level 9, aning only a Black Iron rank could hope to subdue him. However, such powerhouses are typically busy forming their own Beast Taming Groups to explore dinsional spaces, making their appearance in a black market was highly unlikely.
Though Zhang Dali was just an ordinary person, both his parents were Black Iron rank Beast Tars—otherwise, given his personality, he probably would've been beaten up long ago.

At the end of the street, soone was glowing with crimson light.
Beast Tars below Black Iron wouldn't easily expose themselves.
They could only control one contract spirit—their bodies were quite fragile.
Only Black Iron rank Beast Tars would awaken a second contract spirit, then the main body would have protection.
A crew-cut burly man stood at the street side, quietly controlling the shadow monster.

"Guji!" The sli opened its big eyes, bouncing around constantly.
Under Chen Shu's command, the golden sli approached the battlefield.
The glowing red man's vision suddenly blurred as a huge yellow thing mysteriously appeared, charging at the shadow monster.
"Holy shit, where'd this pile of shit co from!"
His heart jumped, instantly realizing—a Beast Tar had intervened.
The sli used Gigantification, growing nearly two ters tall, looking quite imposing actually.
The mont the man's focus was divided by the sli, the two students closed the distance with stealth that clearly ca from extensive practice—on par with any professional. When they were less than a ter away, they couldn't help but let out sinister 'hehe' grins. The man seed to realize sothing and spun around. But in an instant, a bag flew directly at him, covering his vision. Imdiately after, the sounds of a brutal beating began.
Liu Wuyi couldn't help shouting, feeling his head buzzing, even becoming sowhat delirious.
Knowing they would be in mortal danger if the man managed to command his contract spirit, Chen Shu and Zhang Dali held nothing back at all. Though just high school students, they were both quite tall—otherwise they couldn't have occupied the back row seats long-term.
"Stop hitting! Fucking stop hitting!"
Liu Wuyi struggled constantly, feeling he'd hit terrible luck—how was he suddenly ambushed?
"Beast Taming Class 3's monitor Zheng Yi! Let's knock him out first."
"Brother Wang Teng from Third High School, the grade's top student! Won't we cause trouble beating him like this?"
"Can't worry about that now."
Through this well-rehearsed exchange, they effortlessly frad two other students—a necessary precaution against a man dangerous enough to cause trouble in the black market.

"Could a powerhouse have acted?" she wondered, then imdiately saw another crowd gathering. She put away her Fire Bird and joined them.
Two students were continuously beating soone on the ground.
That person's body was motionless, a urea bag over his head.
"You guys?"
Xu Xiaoyu recognized Chen Shu and Zhang Dali.
"Sister Xiaoyu, you ca at the right ti! This villain openly attacked you, but don't worry, I've already subdued him."
Chen Shu spoke, occasionally kicking the person.
"You two resolved this?"
Xu Xiaoyu was dumbfounded. She thought so powerhouse had acted, but how did it turn out to be these two?
