March 5, 2xxx – Izumi PoV
"THEY'RE HERE!" both and Taylor jumped at my mom's scream, we were lying curled up watching a movie so we looked over our shoulders and saw my mom with two letters in her hand, her face was one of pure nervousness, Taylor suddenly stood up and took long robotic steps over to the letter, I took the ti to turn off the television and stretch slightly.
My mom handed each of us our letters, Taylor seed too tense to open hers, she just stared at it while her hands shook slightly, I rolled my eyes and opened mine, a small device fell to the floor, quickly a holographic screen flickered on top of it.
"Greetings! I'm a rat, a bear, a dog? None! It's , Nezu! The director of UA" our eyes widened, okay, I was expecting the hologram, I wasn't expecting Nezu "first, let tell you that this recording is exactly a copy for both letters, this ssage is addressed to both of you, Miyamura Izumi and Hebert Taylor, I thought you would be watching it together! "
"Smart rat," I snorted playfully, my mom punched on the shoulder.
"Izumi!" my mom hissed, I rolled my eyes.
"Now! It's ti for the results! You both passed your written exam! " Taylor let out a shaky sigh, my mom exclaid in joy "now, on to the practical tests, you two were interesting, HAHAHAHAHA" Nezu started laughing maniacally "let's start with Miss Hebert first!" Taylor stiffened and stared at the hologram "879 points! HAHAHAHA" my eyes widened and I looked at Taylor in disbelief, the screen behind Nezu changed and showed a table, in first place was Taylor, the others were blurry, pixelated.
1st. Hebert, Taylor: Monster Point = 879 pts. / Rescue Points = 0 pts.
"What?" Taylor asked incredulously.
"You are the top scorer of the exam! Congratulations! " Nezu laughed, "and not only that! You hold the all-ti record!" You are the first to surpass the 800 point line! You were even the first to generate more than 100pts in the first second! You destroyed all the robots so fast that we had to do a head count after the exam! Luckily, or unluckily for them, none of your group was able to kill a single robot! They were too afraid to approach your bugs or they were too late and there were no robots to destroy! Your quirk is terrifying! HAHAHAHAHA!" Nezu's deranged laughter filled the room "so congratulations! You got into UA! We are waiting for you !
"My little girl passed!" my mom exclaid happily as she hugged Taylor, I snorted in amusent, my mom had quickly grown attached to Taylor and basically treated her like her daughter at this point, not that there was a problem, it was better this way, Taylor still looked incredulous looking at the hologram.
"Co in?" she murmured before tears began to well up in her eyes. "Co in!" Taylor pulled into a hug without letting go of my mom, I hugged her tightly.
"Now! Miyamura Izumi, it's your turn!" Nezu's voice caught our attention and stopped us from celebrating, we looked in unison at the hologram now the background screen changed and got rid of the pixelation on my na, the others remained the sa except the numbers.
2nd. Miyamura, Izumi: Monster Point = 364 pts. / Rescue Points = 268 pts.
"You're in second place! We noticed your skill and strength, you would have been more than capable of clearing out all the robots on the street imdiately, but you still decided to give your group mates a chance and went solely for the robots in the buildings! So we gave you 100 rescue points on top of what you already got, it's not like you needed it, but we had to reward you anyway! Nezu laughed as he nodded.
"Izumi!!" my mom scread as she hugged tightly.
"So congratulations! You both entered UA with honors! Plus ultra!!! LOLOLOLOL" Nezu laughed "in the letter will be all the important information for moving to the university dorms! I hope to et you soon! " with that last ssage the hologram turned off, my mom scread once again.
"My kids got in! They're going to UA!" Taylor hugged us tightly. She burst out laughing with tears as she hugged her back. I did too. I was also elated. I knew I was almost certain to pass, but receiving the news of my acceptance gave the sa happiness.
It took about 10 minutes for us to separate from the hug, well, at least my mom, Taylor was still clinging to from her side.
"They're leaving for college soon," my mom said waterily, but quickly wiped away the tears that were forming, "we have to celebrate! I'll go get one of the cakes!" She quickly made her way to the kitchen, Taylor and I shared a smile, she still had tears on her cheeks so I wiped them away with my hands, Taylor didn't resist.
"Thank you Izumi, for everything" she hugged intimately, I snorted amusedly, but I hugged her back.
"Don't ntion it though, it seed like you didn't need my help, you defeated at least one robot with your sword?" I asked her mockingly, she blushed and looked away, I shook my head amused, my attention was quickly directed to my phone which was vibrating and my ringtone was ringing, I saw the na that appeared.
Ruby.
Quickly honk your horn to answer loudly.
"BETWEEN!!!" Ruby squealed as soon as she answered "OH MY GODDEESHH! BETWEEN! CO IN! CO IN!" she exclaid excitedly, I laughed.
"Congratulations Ruby, we got in too, both of us" I congratulated her, Ruby let out another excited squeal .
"CONGRATULATIONS! I HAVE TO GO!" MOM IS ABOUT TO MAKE A VIDEO CALL TO DAD AND THE REST! SEE YOU!! " Ruby cut the call, I shook my head amused.
"It's good that Ruby ca in" Taylor said honestly, before pushing with her shoulder "now co on, mom's waiting for us in the kitchen with the cake, she doesn't know when to interrupt us" she added with a smile, I snorted amused, if my mom had adopted Taylor as her daughter, Taylor had accepted her as her mom, possibly because she really barely talked to her parents, after the whole debacle with Emma and slowly poisoning her parents' minds to make them believe that Taylor was so kind of delinquent without even listening to their opinion, their relationship really hadn't been the best, and it only degraded further the more ti she spent in Japan, her calls were increasingly sporadic, the last ti was 4 months ago, now she only communicated with them through ssages.

April 2, 2xxx – Izumi Pov
"Do you have everything? Did you send everything with the moving truck?" Are they missing anything? If you've forgotten anything you can still text and I'll get it to you right away! " my mom spoke quickly as we said goodbye, the day had arrived that we would finally move into the UA dorms and she was freaking out.
"We have everything mom, we already checked it like 5 tis thanks to your insistence" I rolled my eyes mockingly, Taylor nodded beside
"We have everything, Mom, don't worry. If we need anything, I'll call right away." Taylor cald my mom down. My mom quickly cald down and hugged us once more.
"Oh, what joy, my children are leaving!" Tears seed to threaten to fall from my mom's cheek. "Izumi! Take care of Taylor, make sure she passes her classes, eats well and exercises! " I huffed.
"I'm sure your concerns should be the other way around," I said playfully.
"Don't be ridiculous Izumi, that would be stupid" Taylor gave a mocking look, I rolled my eyes, clearly Taylor quickly beca number one to my mom, traitors.
"Okay, we have to go, mom, and stop crying, we'll co over on the weekends, and you're the one who should worry about the housework, I won't be around to cook for you anymore," I scolded her, my mom made a face before smiling crookedly.
"Don't worry! I'll take care of it! " I huffed.
"You don't fill with confidence, Mom," I answered flatly, she laughed nervously.
"You don't need to worry! Now, go away! They should be waiting for you at UA with your stuff, go, go! " She pushed us both out of the house and closed the door.
"Did you have to tell her that?" Taylor asked playfully, I rolled my eyes with a smile and adjusted the bag on my back, it was where our swords were, I may not have carried them everywhere constantly and unfortunately I had to leave them at ho most of the ti, but I would never in my life trust a moving company with them.
"Yeah, or it would have kept us in there for another hour." Taylor grimaced, I knew it was true. "Co on, do you want to drive or should I?" I asked as we approached my bike.
"I'll do it!" she said quickly in a slightly high-pitched voice with a blush, I raised an eyebrow in her direction as I raised the keys in her direction.
"You don't want our friends to see you coming after a boy, do you?" I asked mockingly. She blushed even more but still snatched the keys from and got on the bike.
"Shut up and get up" she finally said and I laughed out loud but did as she asked.
