April 15, 2xxx – Izumi PoV
"So, where are we going?" I asked curiously as I looked at Azula, today, Saturday, the day after the USJ incident, as it was a weekend day, UA didn't really have to close classes, so the students were taking a well-deserved break, or well, so were training.
Azula had also done training in the morning, I had helped her along with Taylor and Ruby, I had been teaching her fla breathing and she had taken to it like a fish in water, much easier than solar breathing and still very effective for her firebending quirk, she certainly needed more training to master the movents, but I couldn't deny that Azula wasn't a genius when it ca to that.
Still, I was expecting Azula to keep training all afternoon, but Azula seed to decide to make the most of the day and asked out on a date, I really had no reason to refuse, both Taylor and Ruby weren't bothered by the idea so, here we were in the UA parking lot to look for our vehicle after lunch.
"A secret, you'll know when we get there." she said simply "Now, where's Taylor's motorcycle?" Azula asked simply, I snorted in amusent, Taylor? Oh, how I was going to make fun of her when we got back from our date.
"It's that one." I pointed at Azula, Azula's eyes lit up when she imdiately saw the motorcycle, she whistled in shock.
"I really didn't think you had good taste, I'm impressed." Azula said as she carefully caressed the bike, I rolled my eyes amusedly "keys?" she asked and I handed them to her.
"Do you have a license?" I asked curiously as I watched Azula get on the bike, she nodded.
"International license, I was locked up in a ntal hospital until 6 months ago, I had a lot of things to catch up on, getting my driver's licenses was one of the first things I did." She explained simply, I nodded.
"Is it normal for royalty to know how to drive? I thought you'd have drivers to take you to the corner." I snorted amused, she rolled her eyes as she put on her helt.
"ha ha "Ha , how funny, but you might be right, my brother and uncle definitely wouldn't drive a vehicle if they could help it. I learned how to drive military vehicles in case of ergency, I had my own battalion at 13, I had to know in case of any ergency, the license was… just a formality." She said with a shrug, I humd lightly as I climbed in behind Azula after putting on my helt and hugging her waist.
To my surprise, the trip was longer than I thought. I thought we would just go to Musutafu and do sothing simple, but the trip took almost 45 minutes until we arrived at a half empty parking lot, we both got off, she took off her helt and gave it to .
"Wait here for " she said simply, to my surprise she approached a woman who was standing next to her vehicle, she seed extrely nervous, the woman handed Azula a small envelope while Azula gave her a thicker one. Well, this got more and more interesting when the woman opened the thick envelope that was handed to her by Azulo and began to count the money.
I really wanted to hear what they were saying, I'm sure I could if I wanted to, but when the woman started saying things to Azula that made her expression drop several degrees, her hand caught fire and the woman practically jumped into her vehicle and drove away.
Azula stared at the vehicle as it pulled out of the parking lot before huffing and approaching once more.
"I need to know if you witnessed anything illegal?" I asked mockingly, she rolled her eyes mockingly.
"It's only illegal if you get caught," she chuckled.
"I don't think it works like that," I replied playfully, she scoffed, "So? What cri did I just witness?" I asked, more out of curiosity than anything else.
"So tickets, the place I wanted to take you to doesn't sell tickets on the day, so I had to find soone who would sell their tickets." She shrugged as she put the envelope in her pocket "although the stupid woman wanted more money than agreed upon, silly her."
"Bullshit Azula? You're so an." I purred in her direction, she rolled her eyes as she shoved playfully with her shoulder.
"Get on the bike and shut up." I chuckled, but I listened to her.
The ride was much shorter now, almost 5 minutes. I didn't recognize where we were, but I followed Azula out of the parking lot and we walked while chatting for about two blocks, to my surprise the streets were quite busy.
She led in front of one of the buildings and I almost stopped stiffly, a theater, it was a fucking theater, I definitely didn't squeal when I saw the building, I looked at Azula excitedly.
"It's a musical? Tell what it's a musical." I begged Azula, she chuckled and pulled out the tickets she had just bought and handed them to , without hesitation I opened the envelope and looked at them quickly.
Hadestown .
My eyes opened wide, now I'm not ashad to see them screaming. I looked at the show ti and there was less than half an hour left.
"Co on, co on!" I dragged Azula over to the line of people waiting, practically bouncing the entire ti while Azula stood calmly beside .
Hadestown was still just as impressive as I rembered, it was a version of the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice , although well, here the roles were reversed, obviously, but even so, I had thoroughly enjoyed it.
For the entire two hour show I was completely focused on the musical. I barely stopped myself from babbling about the musical once we left the theater, when Azula started walking towards a nearby restaurant where she apparently had a reservation.
"This place is fancier than I expected, we're not dressed well, we weren't dressed well for the theater." I said simply as I looked around the interior of the restaurant, more of an observation than an accusation, we really weren't dressed for this kind of environnt, Azula shrugged.
"If they want my money they won't complain." Azula replied simply before one of the waitresses approached, Azula quickly looked at the nu offered to her and placed her order, which was mostly at.
"And may I offer you one of our selection of salads?" the waitress asked, snorting loudly.
"I don't think so, I want what she has." I pointed at Azula as I closed the nu, "just make sure the at is well done." I asked the waitress, I could see her wrinkle her nose, Azula noticed it too and slamd the nu shut.
"Is there a problem?" Azula asked calmly while glaring at the waitress.
"N-no, none ma'am, w-would you like sothing to drink? Wine?" the waitress asked quickly, ignoring that we weren't really of legal age, Azula snorted but let it pass.
"Nothing, we'll be fine with water-" Azula pointed to the glasses of water on the table "-we'll call you if we change our minds." Azula said calmly as she handed over her nu, the waitress nodded quickly and practically ran off to the kitchen.
"It wasn't necessary, but thank you." I chuckled, Azula nodded.
"You're my date, I won't let anyone insult you." Azula said simply as if it was obvious before she wrinkled her nose and looked at with contempt "even if you order completely ruined at." she scoffed, and I practically bristled and glared at her.
"You having problems with your taste buds and eating half-raw at is your problem." I replied loudly making Azula laugh, I rolled my eyes before letting out my own laugh "So how did you know the musical was a good idea?" I asked curiously. Azula shrugged
"Taylor and Ruby." she answered simply, my eyebrows raised, now, that was a surprise.
"Really? I didn't think they'd help you with a date." I said surprised, and it's not that Taylor and Ruby are an, but that Azula even asked in the first place.
"They didn't help with the date." Azula scoffed before smiling softly "but they did tell about the things you liked, musicals were on top, chocolate was a close second." she snorted amusedly "from what I read, this place is famous for so of their best chocolate desserts." she said honestly and I grew excited in anticipation, I couldn't wait.
"Sounds wonderful." I said happily before looking at Azula with a mocking smile "So, what did you think of Hadestown ?" I asked mockingly, I could see Azula's eyes twitch slightly.
"It was… okay," she said neutrally, and I chuckled.
"You hated her." I said playfully, she made a face.
"Of course not, it was… entertaining." I laughed, almost seeming to be swallowing bile as I tried to say sothing positive about the musical.
"You don't have to lie, I know Hadestown isn't for everyone, I guess… too much romance for you." I said amused, she sighed.
"I didn't know what it was about, I didn't have enough ti to research it, I had to contact the ticket reseller, I just picked one of the plays that had the best reviews and basically chose which one had the best na," Azula confessed honestly and I burst out laughing.
"I guess, Hadestown is a bit too flashy for a musical about one of the Greek tragic romance myths." I said amused before shaking my head "still, thanks, I had fun, it was even in English, it's hard to find musicals in Japan that aren't adapted and dubbed into the language, I prefer them in their original languages" I thanked her with a smile, Azula sighed in relief as she smiled.
"Don't worry, I'm glad you enjoyed it, that was the idea." Azula smiled slightly, before laughing mockingly, "and yes, Taylor did ntion the language, sothing about the Charming fiasco from last year." My cheeks ward slightly.
"I don't know what you're talking about." I lied shalessly as I looked away, Azula's smile grew wider, I tried to ignore the mory of ranting for almost two hours after the movie and Taylor's dead gaze staring into space, in my defense, Charm in Japanese just doesn't.
"I'm sure ," Azula said mockingly, "I hope the date was up to your standards." I snorted in her direction.
"Trust , my standards are much lower." I said playfully. "Both Taylor and Ruby decided that going to an arcade on a first date was a good option." I said playfully, Azula's eyes widened.
"You're kidding." Azula said incredulously, I shook my head with a smile, Azula snorted "idiots." I frowned at that.
" Hey ! It may not have been a good idea, but I had fun on those dates, I like video gas so there was no problem, besides, none of them are as rich as you to throw money away like you are doing during this date." I quickly reprimanded her, Azulo stopped stiffly before nodding.
"You're right, I apologize." Azula said, and I looked at her aura and noticed that she ant it honestly, I nodded in her direction.
"Don't worry." I nodded in her direction. "Now, where did you get the money?" I asked curiously. Azula shrugged.
"I'm still a princess," Azula said arrogantly. "I may be exiled and almost completely disinherited, but my brother is stupidly soft-hearted so she gave a bank account big enough that I don't really have to worry about anything." I whistled in awe.
"How generous of you," I said simply, Azula snorted.
"Stupid I would say, but it's good to have money so I don't really complain about his decision, so don't worry about the expenses, my brother pays." Azula said with a huge mocking smile.
The rest of dinner was wonderful, well, except for that mont when Azula looked almost disappointed at her food, before she realized it wasn't exactly my food, I snorted amusedly as I used my quirk on the food, it was actually a good thing that I didn't need to prepare it from scratch, I practically served it with anything edible I could find.
The conversation flowed really well the whole ti and the dessert was even better, my tabolism was really high thanks to the full concentration breathing so the amount of food was not a problem, so ordering one of each and eating them all was no problem at all.
Once we were done and Azula paid, we both headed towards the parking lot where our vehicle was when Azula's phone rang, she frowned and her face fell when she saw the ID, she clicked her tongue and accepted the call.
" Zuzu , to what do I owe you the pleasure of this call?" Azula slurred, well now that was interesting, Zuko had decided to call. I don't know what Zuko said to her, but I could see how Azula practically bristled as a furious expression crossed her face "you're doing what?" Azula hissed venomously "no, I don't care about your excuses, is that why you gave the stupid card?! To further monitor my movents?! It's not enough that the UA teachers are keeping tabs on my every move, but you also have to keep an eye on financially as well?!" Azula practically scread.
"No, I won't calm down Zuko! How dare you, you talk about how much you want our relationship to improve, for us to be brothers and all that shit, but then you co out with sothing like this, are you an idiot?! Don't answer that, you are!!" Azula scread, it almost looked like she was about to set her phone on fire, well, I guess I have to interrupt, I gently placed a hand over my mouth.
" Azulaaa , honey, when are you coming back to bed ~ I'm alone, cold and naked here, co warm up honey~~" I yelled into my hand so that it sounded like a distant voice despite being next to Azula, I had lowered my voice an octave so it sounded hoarse and sexually charged, I could see Azula freeze rigidly, even Zuko's voice over her phone froze, Azula turned and looked at in disbelief, I walked over to the phone and practically purred into the speaker but looked Azula in the eyes with a mischievous smile "I was a good boy Mistress ~~ I want my reward, put down that phone and go take good care of your pet, Mistress ~~" I could see Azula blush as she audibly gulped.
"I-I have to go Zuko, I hate you, don't call again."
" W -wait, Azula, w-what was that, Azu-!" I could hear Zuko scream from the phone before Azula ended the call, she ignored the noise her phone imdiately started making and simply looked at in disbelief at what just happened.
"Y-you… do you know what you did? Zuko is going to freak out!" Azula exclaid and I smiled at her amusedly and raised an eyebrow in her direction, Azula stopped "Zuko is going to freak out…" Azula repeated to herself before a sadistic smile ford on her face and she looked at "goddess, you are the best." she said simply before approaching and kissing , I was surprised for a few monts before kissing her back.
To no one's surprise, she tasted like chocolate, her kiss was dominant, demanding attention and reciprocation, sothing I gave easily, we both got lost in the kiss for several minutes before she pulled away and looked at intensely while catching her breath.
"L-let's go to the dorms," she said simply, clearing her throat, before making what seed like a titanic effort to pull away and looked at her ringing phone, rolled her eyes, and turned it off before getting on her bike.
"So, what was that?" I asked curiously, although I understood the context as I climbed onto the bike behind her.
"Zuko being an idiot." Azula huffed. "He's keeping an eye on my bank account, I haven't used it for anything other than the bare essentials until now. Apparently he found my high 'expenses' suspicious and decided to call ." I could practically feel Azula rolling her eyes. "And it wasn't even an 'expense' high enough to draw attention, he was just being an idiot." I humd lightly before smiling widely.
"If you want to annoy him, subscribe to porn sites or buy sex toys, I'm sure he'll think twice before continuing to see your transactions." I said amused, Azula paused as she started the bike before letting out a laugh.
"I'll think about it." She said playfully, I shook my head with a smile as I grabbed her waist, Azula shuddered and moaned lightly, I smiled lightly, as fun as it was to tease her, I kept my hands completely still on her waist.
The ride was just as long, but it allowed Azula to calm down more and more, so once we got to the college campus and parked the bike, Azula was as calm as ever.
We walked in silence to the dorms at night, though I could sense a surprising amount of people awake, so I stopped her at the entrance, turned her around, and gently kissed her lips.
"Thanks, I had fun," I said honestly, before entering the bedroom.
Author's Notes: Okay, first, happy belated new year! And second, unfortunately, this was all I got around to writing this week as well. The good news is that I won't be busy anymore and my writing ti should be back to normal, so I'll hopefully be back to posting the sa amount of chapters next week.
