"Young Master Eichi, what do you think of this candidate?"
Zen'in Shuji handed a docunt to Eichi.
Eichi reached out and took it.
The file was about a young woman in her twenties, holding a master's degree in psychology, who had participated in charity work around the world.
"Acceptable."
Eichi nodded.
The girl looked plain in the photo.
However, Eichi cared about her ability, not her appearance.
After all, this wasn't for Suguru's blind date.
The two continued sifting through the stack of docunts, searching for suitable candidates.
Regarding Suguru's situation, Eichi had decided to assemble a professional team to help Suguru rebuild his beliefs.
Romain Rolland once said: There is only one true heroism in this world—to love life after recognizing its truth.
For Suguru, that ant continuing to long for the light even after witnessing the darkness of the world.
Unfortunately, Suguru's light was borrowed.
Born into an ordinary background, Suguru had received an education built on peace and beauty as described in textbooks.
That was why he was so insistent on the Righteous Path and the concept of righteousness.
That was why he upheld the principle of "with great power cos great responsibility."
He had always worked hard to protect non-Jujutsu Sorcerers.
But borrowed ideals are ultimately illusions.
When faced with true darkness, illusions are fragile.
What Eichi wanted now was to help Suguru find and establish a true belief that could support him for the rest of his life.
To that end, there were several essential types of people who had to be on the team Eichi was assembling.
The first was soone capable of keenly perceiving Suguru's emotional changes.
Unlike Satoru, who would openly show his thoughts and feelings, Suguru often bore everything alone.
So, he needed a ticulous person, preferably soone skilled in psychological counseling, to be by his side and provide continuous support.
The second was soone with firm red beliefs.
The power of red beliefs had already been proven in this world.
For many who had lost their way, such beliefs could beco a pillar of conviction.
The third was soone who truly possessed "goodwill," soone who could help Suguru see the shining parts of humanity.
For example, that disabled man who scavenged for thirteen years and donated over a million yuan—his deeds had moved countless people.
Eichi believed that, within such an environnt, Suguru would surely find his own beliefs again.
After all, Suguru's nature was innately kind and gentle.
Therefore, the team must absolutely not include anyone who was just putting on a performance or had ulterior motives.
In his past life, Eichi often donated money during his school days as well.
He still rembered the first ti—he had donated all the money he had saved over half a month, money he was going to use to buy toys.
However, by the ti he reached university, he had seen and heard far more, and so things were genuinely disturbing.
For instance, a girl went to a charity organization to donate, only to find that the staff collecting donations wore tens of thousands of dollars worth of Chanel and bracelets.
Regardless of the truth, that sort of image was bound to cause misunderstanding.
Or the so-called unverified mandatory donation salary deductions.
It was said that a certain charity organization, under the pretext of making donations more convenient and sustainable, and to increase social responsibility, launched this kind of plan.
As well as many other rumors lacking verification.
Eichi wanted Suguru to experience real goodness and beauty. He didn't want Suguru to mistakenly believe that all goodwill was performative, which could lead to him falling even deeper into despair.
Ding-a-ling.
The phone rang.
Zen'in Shuji nodded apologetically to Eichi, then stepped out to answer the call.
About ten minutes later, Zen'in Shuji returned.
"Young Master Eichi, Jujutsu Headquarters just issued a new mission to Tokyo Jujutsu High. Please take a look."
He placed the freshly printed mission notice in front of Eichi.
Multiple hikers have gone missing in the mountains. Residual Cursed Energy left by Cursed Spirits was detected at the scene.
Mission Executor: Gojo Satoru.
The Cursed Spirit from a certain abandoned apartnt's ghost story has reappeared.
Mission Executors: Nanami Kento, Haibara.
Traces of Cursed Spirits have appeared in a mountain village.
Mission Executor: Geto Suguru.
Mountain village.
"It's here..."
What must co will co eventually.
"This mission... should we contact Jujutsu Headquarters to withdraw it?"
Zen'in Shuji asked, puzzled at Eichi's sudden silence.
In his view, the mission wasn't particularly difficult.
After all, the one executing it was Suguru, a Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerer.
And according to the Window's report, the Cursed Spirit involved was only Grade 2.
He didn't understand why Eichi looked so serious about this.
'Maybe there's sothing I don't know.'
Zen'in Shuji thought to himself.
"No need. Pay a few reliable dia outlets to send reporters with . Also, are there any available personnel from the nearby tropolitan Police Departnt that can be mobilized?"
"Yes."
Zen'in Shuji responded without hesitation.
"Good. You go arrange the dia and the police. I'll handle sothing else first."
"Understood, Young Master Eichi."
Eichi stood and went straight to the principal's office.
Masamichi looked at him in confusion as Eichi handed over an internship application form.
The form had Suguru's na written on it, but the internship period was left blank.
Suguru was still out on a mission.
So why was he suddenly applying for an overseas internship?
And the organization listed was a charity group Masamichi had never even heard of.
Most importantly, why was Eichi submitting Suguru's form?
In the end, Masamichi said he would only approve it once Suguru himself, who had already interned at Tokyo Jujutsu High for two and a half years, ca to explain in person.
Eichi had no objections.
To save ti, he took Zen'in Shuji and rode on Qiongqi, flying swiftly toward the mountain village where the mission was set.
When they arrived, several reporters were already waiting.
These reporters had all been gathered from the local area, so they arrived earlier than Eichi and the others, who had flown in from Tokyo.
"How long until Suguru arrives?"
"Around four hours," Zen'in Shuji answered after checking the ti.
Four hours?
'They just have to hold out four more hours.'
Eichi glanced at the setting sun, then turned to the reporters.
"Did you bring caras or miniature caras?"
"We did."
After exchanging looks, an older reporter stepped forward and handed over several miniature caras.
"Are those your broadcast vehicles?"
Eichi pointed to two television broadcast vans parked nearby.
"Yes."
"Alright. Wait in the vans. There's no need to broadcast this ti, just record. The interviews won't begin for a few more hours."
With that, Eichi moved to an empty corner and sent one miniature cara into the room where Nanako and Mimiko were being held using his shadow.
The remaining caras were placed in strategic positions as directed by the reporters, via phone.
Since the reporters were all waiting inside their broadcast vans, none of them saw Eichi use Jujutsu.
