Chapter 1562 The Busisnessman Strikes

Wang Wei stopped reading. "This changes everything."

"Yes. The competition has started," Wang Bo nodded.

"Our priority should be getting our hands on that

Transcendent Heaven Will," Yan Shirong said. "I suggest all sect mbers hand over 80% of their rit during the war."

"You want to slaughter everyone, huh?" Wang Bo

comnted.

"You disagree?"

"No. It may be a good approach to focus on buying this thing, sacrificing everything before we reach our goal," Wang Bo replied.

"We previously failed to create a protector for our clan, and now, this is the perfect ti to compensate for our mistake,"

Yan Hai added, agreeing with Yan Shirong's radical approach.

"Wang Wei, what do you think?" Qiyuan asked. His words brought everyone's attention to Wang Wei, whose lips were twitching.

"It's obvious that this greedy boy doesn't want to give up all his benefits," Yan Hai sneered.

"Aren't you underestimating a little? While it pains , I understand this is the best approach. I know how to sacrifice for the greater good," Wang Wei replied.

"That's good," Qiyuan nodded. "Only four factions have the unity or structure for such a strategy: us, Buddhism, the Origin Seal Continent, and the Qin Court. Buddhism does not need the Heaven Will, and it's in the best interest of the continent to focus all their resources on Wu Hong so she can fulfil all her potential.

"That only leaves the Qin Court. All signs showed that the Human Emperor might have the second-highest success

rate to beco a Primordial Saint. So, their strategy could be the sa as the continent, or he could compromise and follow our strategy."

Wang Wei nodded. Qiyuan's analysis was correct. The Grand Sect Alliance was too bloated to force all its mbers to hand over 80% of their rit. The union was already showed signs of division because of Wang Guo's actions. The demons and Innate Demon Gods are too focused on their battle, but if they stopped, they might have a chance.

Taoism appeared alright on the surface, but Supre Unity's reign has fundantally fractured them. Now, there is a small scale division between the younger leaders who rose during the Seven Moon Era — led by Zhen BIyu — and the old mbers who either allowed Supre Unity's rise or died during the Ultimate Taboo.

Supre God Shen Tian used to have absolute power in the Divine Faith Heaven. His status was similar to Ying Zheng's.

However, after he allied himself with so old Gods from ancient tis to et the two Primals' requirents to be an Overlord, his power was balanced.

The Sword Path League is too individualistic. These

swordsn only care about pursuing higher realms of

swordsmanship. The exchange list was an opportunity to increase their strength, so they would never give up on that for the betternt of the league.

The Skill Path Association has the lowest chance of using such a strategy. The only thing that keeps all these different professionals bound together is their interest, so asking all of them to give up 80% of their benefits for the association is probably blasphemous to most of them.

The Limitless Exchange Hall's situation might be worse.

They might have the largest number of all the Overlords, but most of their mbers are outer mbers, or loose

cultivators who used their services to access higher-level resources.

Loose cultivators are even more individualistic than swordsn, so asking them to hand over 80% of their hard work is tantamount to cutting off both of their hands. No one would accept such a rule. Even worse, these people who considered themselves non-law-abiding might even revolt.

"It doesn't matter what the Qin Court does — as long as we can get our hands on one of them," Yan Shirong said. It was unrealistic to expect the sect to acquire both of these Heaven Wills.

"We can perfect the rit system after we return," Qiyuan said. "The question now is who should use it? We should prepare in advance." The exchange list has hinted at the possibility of failures, so it's in the sect's best interest to choose soone in advance and train that person to

increase their chances of success.

"Whoever it is, they must be an Array Master, or of similar fields," Yan Shirong suggested. Everyone understood his logic. If their Primordial Saint is going to be the weakest in that realm, it's best if the latter could use foreign help to increase their strength, and the best help would be a Transcendent Formation.

Qiyuan hesitated briefly before looking at Wang Bo. "Sir, how confident are you about your transcendence path?" In his mind, Wang Bo was the perfect candidate. His Rune Dao was essentially an array-based Dao, and more importantly, Wang Bo was fiercely loyal, making him the best protector.

However, Qiyuan also wanted him to have a broader future.

Wang Bo's body paused after hearing these words,

considering them seriously. He understood the limits of his talent. Even without that accident, his cultivation talent was above average. Now, with the Wang Clan's bloodline, his potential had increased, but was it to the level of being confident in walking the Transcendent Path?

"Give so ti to think abou it," Wang Bo replied.

"Alright, but please don't take too long," Qiyuan said. It's best for the sect to decide such a thing now and start the training program for the chosen person. He then glanced at

Miscellaneous but did not say anything. The next best choice was him, but it would be cruel to give the latter hope when Wang Bo might be the one chosen. Additionally, Qiyuan believes that Miscellaneous still has so untapped

potential.

"Any other suggestions?"

"I have sothing," Wang Wei said.

"We're listening."

"My motto has always been to work smarter, not harder."

"I knew he would try to weasel his way out of this decision,"

Yan Hai sneered.

"Ancestor, why are you questioning my moral character so hard?" Wang Wei wanted to cry but he had no tears.

"I just know how your mind thinks," Yan Hai snorted coldly.

"Let him talk," Qiyuan said.

Wang Wei wanted to say sothing snarky, but he controlled himself. "I just observed the silver pillars and got an idea.

Most of the pillar's content is the sa, but only until the First Step Transcendent Tier.

"Their pillars do not have as much variety in that tier; they don't have an upper section, and more importantly, their princess is 10% higher." Wang Wei shook his head. With this move, Heavenly Dao continued its policy of strictly

controlling the loose cultivators.

It has always controlled mortals to limit the number of cultivators worldwide, but more importantly, the Heavenly Dao favored factions because they are easier to control. A faction ans tethers and attachnts, which are

weaknesses to be exploited. Of course, Grand Dao also does not like when a faction is too bloated, hence why it's been side-eying the Grand Sect Alliance for many years.

anwhile, most loose cultivators are lone wolves, only caring about themselves. Heavenly Dao cannot easily control them, and to be frank, their vast numbers are what make them a real threat. If Heavenly Dao did not use factions and clans to control the world's resources, who knew what these loose cultivators would do if they were allowed to grow unfettered?

"Boy, what are you getting at?" Wang Bo asked.

"You people need to start thinking more like busnessman — especially at a ti like this when resources are scarce and crucial," Wang Wei said, shaking hi shead.

"Get on with it," Wang Bo snapped.

"This is the perfect ti to start an underground market.

We buy things in our exchange list and sell them at a price 5% higher to the loose cultivators."

"Hmm, this is not a bad idea," Qiyuan muttered. Instead of paying the 10% higher fee in the silver pillars, those loose cultivators will jump at the chance only to pay 5%.

"This plan is feasible, but how do we prevent other sects from doing the sa?" Miscellaneous asked.

"I doubt most sect will be thinking about using the exchange list for a business — at least, not for a while. So, we can take this opportunity to establish ourselves," Wang Wei replied.

"More importantly, we can use price gouging. We lowered our price by 1% until we run everybody out of business, then we raise the price.

"We can do that since our sect will have a significant reserve of rit since everybody will be handing over 80%."

"This may work," Qiyuan said. While the sect will have to invest the rit intended for the Transcendent Heaven Will, this investnt will actually increase their overall rit, thereby reducing the ti required to raise the funds.

"Except there is one problem," Yan Hai said. "We don't have any rit for the initial investnt. We used it all to train new Peak Paragons."

"We don't actually need an initial investnt, as long as we can make the loose cultivators believe we can offer them things at a discount price," Wang Wei said. They only need to convince the buyer to give them the money and procure the item on the exchange list, then they can pocket the 5% difference.

"Plus, most of them currently do not have the money to buy anything from the Transcendent Tier. They won't have that kind of money until the disaster starts, which is plenty of ti to amass the starting funds.
