The Grand Sect Alliance divided its factions into nurous wings, where the different sects resided. Pure Moon Wing was an area in which an enormous artifact moon was created for the disciples of the Yin Moon Palace to live in. Today, the ancestor and founder of the palace, the Yin Moon Paragon, held a secret eting.
"Do you know why I called all of you here?" The Yin Moon Paragon asked. She was an ordinary-looking middle-aged woman, dressed in all white, with blue hair. She looked peaceful and gave people a warm, nurturing feeling, but only those who knew understood that this was a facade; this woman was an erupting volcano when she beca too excited.
Two won stood opposite her: Su Ya and Luo Nuying. All three won in this room had one thing in common: The Seven Emotion Six Desire Physique. Their cultivation also fit in succession with Su Ya, who was at the peak of the Great Emperor Realm, Luo Nuying was preparing for her Immorial Tribulation, and the Yin Moon Paragon was a Peak Paragon.
"Ancestor, we don’t know," Luo Nuoying said, her voice soft with a bit of an intimidating boom. Her stern face was both alluring and intimidating, and that duality was further accented by her long and flowing red hair.
Su Ya — who had recently been in the mood for green hair — remained quiet, but she also displayed her confusion with a facial expression. The Yin Moon Paragon did not beat around the bush and got directly to the point: "Things are not looking too good for the association, and I need to start looking for a way out for our palace."
Su Ya and Luo Nuying glanced at each other, and their eyes communicated one thing: "That was quick." "Ancestor, what do you need us to do?" Su Ya asked.
"I’ve brought these unique Void Breaking Talisman from the exchange list," Yin Moon Paragon said. "They will not only take you away, but also send you to a place where your destiny can shine. I need you to leave and only return after I contact you. Understand?"
"The war?" Luo Nuying asked.
"No need to worry about it."
"But —"
"If you truly want to make a difference, beco stronger and return," Yin Moon said.
"I see."
"What about the Emotion-Desire Book?" Su Ya asked with a hint of suspicion.
"You’ve always been clever, which is what I appreciate about you," Yin Moon smiled. "Take it with you."
"This," Luo Nuying muttered. Just like any sect, the Yin Moon Palace had its own factions. The most powerful was the Ancestor Branch, even though the Yin Moon Paragon was rely a pseudo Eternal. The reason was the Emotion-Desire Books. The books are crucial to the lineage, and the only reason Luo Nuying and Su Ya held their positions was that they were the original writers. But according to the sect rules, they cannot pass it on to soone else, and if they were to die, the palace has the right to retrieve it and have soone else finish what they started. Yet, the ancestor allowed them to leave with such a crucial artifact.
"Take the book and finish what you started, understand?"
"Yes, Ancestor."
"Yes, Ancestor."
"Good," Yin Moon nodded before handing them the talismans. She calmly watched them disappear, then breathed a sigh of relief. Fate manifests in strange ways. Years ago, after the second Emperor appeared in the Yin Moon Palace, an idea suddenly occurred to her, and she instructed the palace to continue recruiting people with her physique.
Then, after she beca a Paragon and started to build a faction in the upper dinsion, Yin Moon searched for more won. So far, eighteen won of the Seven Emotions Six Desires Physique have created their book and finished it by reaching the peak of the Paragon. Eleven are from the upper dinsion and seven from the lower dinsion.
Yin Moon had a feeling sothing magical would happen once Thirteen Won — both from the upper and lower dinsion — finished their books. Maybe this will be her transcendent path. She doesn’t know, but the possibility is enough to risk everything.
’The next step is to find the remaining physiques,’ Yin Moon thought. Normally, this would be difficult. After all, this was a Heavenly Physique only found in the lower dinsion. "Do you think anyone can et the requirents to join the Ji Clan?"
"...If you don’t have any confidence, why are you here?"
"I’m just hoping I have so super rare hidden powers that catch their attention."
"You have a vivid imagination."

Su Ya frowned. Her ntors once ntioned the Ji Clan, claiming they had reached the pinnacle in the Emotion-Desire Dao. ’Should I join?’ she thought before weighing the pros and cons for a few seconds. ’The Ji Clan is a family faction, so I won’t have much upward mobility unless I marry into their clan. However, there should be more room to breathe in the Desire Heart Palace.’
