Shenghuovi looked on as the silver legion eerily fell to the ground. She frowned for a mont before her eyes turned a strange shade of white. ’Such an abomination to life,’ she thought. ’Only humans would create such a vile thing.’ Such a creation could wipe out all life in entire Chaos Worlds with little to no effort and in a short period.
’I wondered what ji’er is doing; she’s probably also fuming about such an act of defiance against the natural order of life itself,’ Shenghuovi thought. They used to be close, but since their imprisonnt, Siwangji has rarely shown up to talk with her, and when she does, she seems worried and distracted. The worst part is that the latter refused to allow Shenghuovi to share her burden.
Shenghuovi shook her head to remove these thoughts from her head. The experience in that prison was horrible. At first, their brothers and sisters banded together to find an escape route, but it didn’t take long before they turned on each other. The worst part is their big brother — Hundunxi — not only did he not stop it, but he secretly encouraged it. As such, Shenghuovi does not like to dwell on it.
’The Infinite Trichiliocosm,’ Shenghuovi thought. Ever since that eting in which Maitreya revealed the truth, she’s been thinking about it. During her ti, there was no alternate tilines, only one. Ti was first controlled by their mother, and once he grew up, their brother — Shijuange — eventually took over. However, even then, ti was almost aningless to all of them.
’It’s a brilliant move by Mother to expand the world to such a grand scale, and more importantly, create countless possibilities for the Chaos Universe,’ Shenghuovi thought. ’But it seems larger also ans it is harder to control.’ The existence of the Divine Tiline and the Highest Sovereign was proof that Grand Dao had long lost complete control of the Chaos Universe.
’Knowing Brother Shijuange, he’ll probably try to regain control of the [River of Ti], which ans he’ll be in direct competition with the Ti Cardinal,’ Shenghuovi analyzed. She didn’t know how things would turn out, but that was not her primary concern.
’The Infinite Trichiliocosm is full of endless resources and opportunities, making it the best choice to return to my peak as soon as possible. However, I’m worried about how it will influence .’ All the humans claid there is a sense of unease whenever they travel to other tilines, but would it be the sa for Chaos Demon Gods? Or maybe it will be worse since they predated the thing. There is even the possibility that Grand Dao barred them from traveling to other tilines.
’The humans also made another excellent point,’ Shenghuovi continued. ’There is the possibility that the Divine Tiline may be able to track down people who have left the Primordial Tiline, so I’ll need to be extra prepared.’ It’s in her best interest to act extra carefully to prevent any issues. Shenghuovi sighed. In tis like this, she hoped she had her brother’s Darkness or Destiny Origin to better hide her tracks.
Heavenly Art Division:
"You look like a volcano about to erupt," Xu Shi said.
"Who is it that created such a vile, disgusting, and abhorrent thing?" Siwangji asked, almost exploding.
"Probably Wang Wei," Xu Shi said.
"And here I was praising you humans for your ingenuity. If this is what you use it for, you’re simply wasting the gift that Mother has granted you."
"You’re overestimating," Xu Shi sighed. "Every day, millions of worlds are destroyed. All kinds of races created terrible poisons, curses, war machines, and so on to kill as many people as possible. This particular plague is only unique because of its undetectability."
"This is why this world needs our race to keep the peace and balance. If we were in charge, none of this would have happened."
"What a joke," Xu Shi sneered.
"Am I wrong?"
"From little I know about your race, I can tell you’re not so kind of peace-loving species. You have the sa emotions as humans, just masked by your innate arrogance. If you guys were not imprisoned, you would have started committing atrocities the mont the human race started showing that we could grow to the sa level as you.
"In fact, the trajectory of your race would have been just a better version of the Fiendgod Race."
"How dare you compare us to those replacents?" Siwangji countered.
"Remind again why you needed to be replaced?"
The Death Chaos Demon God was montarily speechless. "You can’t bla us for the sin of one mber. Hundunxi had acted selfishly."
"Didn’t you just bla the entire human race based on Wang Wei’s actions? Plus, isn’t Hundunxi supposed to represent the best you have to offer? Well, maybe it’s Pangu, but that’s not a good answer as well."
"It’s pointless to argue with you, so let’s change the subject," Siwangji stated. "Now that you’re a Peak Paragon, your next step should be to start optimizing your soul. You should be preparing to buy sothing to help you master one of the Ultimate Skills, correct?"
"Yes, and?"
"Give your rit, and I preach to you."
Xu Shi frowned.
"It’s a good deal," Siwangji continued. "I’m essentially saving you more than 50% of the rit you needed, and my sermon will benefit you even more than anything Heavenly Dao can offer."
"Fine."
"Wise choice," Siwangji bead. "And don’t forget to keep observing your husband and your master."
"My master? What does it have to do with this?"
"His destiny is showing signs of activity. If I’m not reading it wrong, he should soon be involved in the first nexus event of this disaster."
"I’ll go tell master now."
"Don’t get involved and affect the wheel of fate," Siwangji warned. "If he has noticed and prepared himself, then he’s not cut out for his position."
Xu Shi paused. "Does the Saint know?"
"Probably."
War Post Room:
Wan Yani glanced at the tal Saint’s strange behavior. Then, she received a ntal transmission, revealing that the base was no longer as foolproof or impenetrable as it used to be. She controlled herself from making any kind of facial expression. The situation was already so dire, and no, they had lost their absolute safety zone.
’I need so achievents as soon as possible,’ Wan Yani thought. The worst that could happen to a commander is not a conquest failure or ruining their reputation through Grand Sacrifice — it’s being replaced because of poor performance. Wan Yani knew her career and future prospects would be destroyed if that ever happened. Then, from now on, she’ll live forever in that person’s shadow.
A slight tremor emanated from the gate, and two things flew out: a talisman and a space ring. Wan Yani did not hesitate to read the content. She was shocked when she realized the talisman contained a blueprint for sothing called the Unification Tower. However, that’s not what caught Wan Yani’s attention; it was the court mandate in the blueprint that designated the construction of this tower as the highest priority.
Wan Yani did not hesitate as she condensed a projection that teleported away toward Fan Leiwei’s departnt with the blueprint and materials. "I need you to build this thing imdiately."
"Are you crazy?" Fan Leiwei asked. "While the Invisible Plague is no longer a problem since everybody infected is dead, I still need to create a cure in case they use it again."
"This is an order from the court, and it’s the highest priority."
Fan Leiwei frowned, not entirely believing her. So, he checked the blueprint, and it was indeed marked as the highest priority. "Damn it," he cursed under his breath. This conquest has already allowed him to co into contact with three unique pieces of knowledge that he wished to learn, but he now has to waste his ti.
He waved his hand, and his body suddenly divided into two. One version stayed to finish working on the plague, while the other walked away to study this blueprint.
"How long will it take you to finish building?"
"Let see. It should take, hmm, what the hell? This is beyond my abilities. Oh, wait, is there already a built core? Where is it?"
"They didn’t...Oh, it just passed through the gate."
"In that case, it should take 500 yuan epoch in true ti."
"Great. Tell if you need anything."
Wan Yani received a circular object that seed to contain billions of minor runes condensed together. She imdiately had soone send it to Fan Leiwei since she couldn’t teleport it away. Soon after, the reinforcents started descending. First, it was the more Boat and Puppet Legion, followed by the Silver Legion, the Golden Legion, and nurous more.
After seeing the scale of the reinforcent, Wan Yani felt more relieved to continue this war. She was sowhat limited by the resources previously available to her once she first arrived in this tiline. Now, she can conduct a proper war since she has the necessary tools.
’The first priority is counter-intelligence,’ Wan Yani analyzed. Now that there were flaws in the base’s rules, the enemy might be able to penetrate and gather information, so she needed to prepare.
