Now reading: Chapter 1756: Kong: The S-Class Primal from Journey of the Fate Destroying Emperor, a Action novel by LazySageDao.

Maitreya was upfront toward Emperor Kong, telling him he was crucial to one of the most important plans of the Tribunal Lords. Although he did not know what that plan was, Maitreya revealed that he had left so form of protection inside his body. Using the rit from the Mortal Dao Art, Kong pushed his soul’s sensitivity to the limit to discover that power and tapped into it. He then used a bit of it to boost the strength of the Heaven Deception Array.

’With the aid of the rit and the boost, I should be able to deceive their detection thods — even if it reaches Saint-tier,’ Emperor Kong analyzed. He could do this. Unfortunately, the slight increase in his perspiration and heartbeat betrayed his true state of mind.

Ti stretched out longer than it should have: a second felt like billions of years. Kong watched as the Heaven Deception Array inside his Sea of Consciousness operated at the highest level. Without realizing it, all his muscles were already taut. His soul kept releasing spiritual light, which was akin to sweating.

Boom!

Emperor Kong almost jumped, thinking he had failed and sothing was happening. Boom! It happened again, making him realize that this was not his imagination: the tower was trembling. ’What’s going on?’ he thought. A brief check showed he had passed the final check; all his work and effort had succeeded. But sothing seed to have happened to the Nine Council tower.

"What happened?" Emperor Kong asked as he rushed out of his room.

"Great Sage Qi," a few of the candidates saluted him.

"Did an enemy attack?"

"Sort of," the new Dynasty Lord replied. "Apparently, the newly elected Martial Lord was one of the Primordial Otherworld Demons."

"Seriously?" another candidate who had just arrived asked.

"I’ve t Lin Chi, and he seed such an upright and dedicated martial artist," Great Sage Qi sighed. Emperor Kong was genuinely surprised. Although there were a few other attempts at impersonating Lord candidates, most ended in failure. Who knew that soone had also reached so far in the process?

’The Chaos Universe is vast, and even if the Eternal Ascension World becos the Destiny Center World, I should never underestimate the geniuses of the universe,’ Emperor Kong thought. Even after their eting, he never once suspected that Lin Chi was one of his "kind."

"The enemy has been apprehended. All candidates can finish with their inheritance," an authoritative voice echoed throughout the tower. Great Sage Qi sighed internally. He could already tell the fate of his fellow primordial.

Nine Council Central Room:

"I had my money on Great Sage Qi being the spy, but I guess I was wrong," the Artisan Lord said.

"Do you think there is a chance to find the real Lin Chi?" the Taoist Lord asked. The Martial Lord is one of the most critical positions in the council, and that’s because 90% of the ti, they are the strongest of the Nine Lords. The entire election process of the Martial Lord is to choose the person with the best combat talent. The participants don’t even have to cultivate a Martial Art System; they can enter the selection process as long as they have no ties with the other paths and cultivate a combat-focused cultivation system.

Lin Chi was one of the most promising candidates in a while, and his rise to the Lord Position would have imnsely benefited the world and the council. More importantly, Lin Chi was known as a kind martial fanatic, aning he wouldn’t cause trouble because of his strength.

"I doubt he’s alive, but we can try to find the truth from the otherworldly demon," the Artisan Lord said. "However, this guy looks like a tough nut to crack. Let’s wait until the Evil Lord arrives and interrogates him." This ti’s Divination Lord seems diocre, so she did not ntion them.

Literary Path Room:

Emperor Kong followed a small spirit to a large room with a pool at the center, and six bright stars floating above the Heavens. The spirit dissipated, and Kong approached the pool, imdiately finding it familiar: "Is this...a pool of rit?" As soon as these words escaped his mouth, he found them absurd, but even after checking for the fifth ti, the result was the sa. Soone took a vast quantity of rit and sohow condensed it into a liquid form to make it even more potent, leaving it as an inheritance.

"Is the Infinite Divine Court really that rich?" Emperor Kong asked himself. This world is obviously a unique training ground of the Infinite Divine Court, which chose an approach that gave the native as much power and autonomy as possible. However, assuming each of the core nodes of the formation is one of those training grounds, how much rit is used as an expense?

’The court’s system has ensured that there are Lords or Primals in each generation,’ Emperor Kong analyzed. ’If that is true for the other core worlds as well, sothing is not adding up. There is no way for them to have so much rit — unless they can create it as they please.’

Emperor Kong’s body suddenly paused. ’Artificially created rit? Typically, I would laugh at such an absurd idea, but the court has a Grand Dao Saint, and they have absolute control over this tiline.’ The more he thought about it, the more he felt this theory was true.

"No, sothing is still not adding up," Kong continued. "One of the fundantal laws of the universe is balance. If the Infinite Divine Court had the power to endlessly continue condensing rit, then the only thing that could stop them from non-stop training of Saints would be the failure during the transition process.’

With enough rit blessing the soul and mind, ideas that are as rare as a cultivator who is not greedy would beco quite common. The creation of the techniques based on these ideas would also beco common. The only possible failure is the transition process itself.

’I guess I’ll find out,’ Emperor Kong thought. He did not hesitate to enter the rit pool. His mind felt instantly peaceful, serene, and clear; it was as if he were one with the universe, and all its truths and secrets beca readily available to him.

"Hmm? There is more?" The six stars in the sky were actually a detailed explanation of how to master the six Grand Constructs. "Excellent." Emperor Kong did not waste his ti as he delved deeper into the mysteries of the constructs. The entire process was so easy that for a mont, he doubted himself whether he was truly learning the truth or soone else’s version of the truth.

"Just like that, I’m an A-Class Primal?" Emperor Kong thought to himself. It was so fast and absurd that he actually wanted to try to control the artificial constructs created by the Primordial Tribunal Lord to check if sothing was wrong with his understanding or mastery. However, he controlled himself. Although small, there is a chance of revealing himself, and he would not make such a mistake after coming this far.

Emperor Kong closed his eyes to sense sothing. ’As expected. I am now bound to this Nine Realm World, and until I’ve repaid my karma, I cannot leave.’ The rit had its purpose. It acted similarly to a Karmic Position, and only after repaying the debt will Kong’s term be over, and then, the tower can begin the selection for the next generation’s lord.

’Luckily for , it seems most of the karma has already been paid,’ Kong sighed. A part of him felt at a loss that he needed to rely on Wang Wei’s idea for his plan to succeed, and now, he learned that he would have shot himself in the foot had he not used it. It seems that no one can escape the web of fate and karma that accompanies Wang Wei. At first, it was the people of his generation who were entangled or even swallowed; then it was the mbers of the older generation; and soon, it might be every non-Saint in the Chaos Universe. Not, with what happened with Sovereign Dao Eyes, even Saints might not be able to escape.

Emperor Kong exhaled to calm himself. The tower spirit arrived and led Kong to another room with 33 books. As soon as he entered, they all shone with brilliant golden lights before scanning his body. Then, the 27th book flew into his palm.

[True Philosophy Saint Foundation]

A quick read through the content imdiately made Emperor Kong excited. This technique was perfect for him. The idea is to use a scholar’s fundantal philosophy as a seed, then spread it and gain recognition. Such recognition would then turn into power to nurture the seed and establish a Saint Foundation.

’The Golden Society Philosophy is perfectly in line with my ideas, and it’s already spread and recognized,’ Emperor Kong thought. He did not hesitate and imdiately started cultivating. Such a perfect Transcendent Foundation that does not require many resources was genuinely perfect for a faction as weak as the Enlightened Emperor Academy.
