The first ti the Destruction General utilized all its power was during its creation. Since it was created to battle [Perfection] and end the latter’s madness, how could it be in a sealed state? Grand Dao only sealed it later because of its power and existence.

The second ti the Destruction General was unsealed was during Pangu’s Rebellion. Jiang Qing has witnessed over ti the battle between these two titans, and to say he was shocked is an understatent. Although few records of Pangu remained in the world, his act of slaying 3000 Chaos Demon Gods before battling the Destruction General was truly legendary.

The third ti was during Cthulhu’s invasion of the Chaos Universe. The Destruction General appeared and defeated the Great Old One, allowing Grand Dao the ability to seal this powerful, unknown creature. Although Grand Dao tried to erase all records of this event, a few Grand Dao Saints have discovered it.

The fourth ti the Destruction General utilized its full power was during the creation of another taboo: the Lost Tilines. Jiang Qing and even most people do not know what happened. All they know is that the Destruction General was deployed, then returned with heavy damage, and soon another taboo was added to the Chaos Universe.

The fifth ti the general was deployed — yes, there was a fifth ti, but Grand Dao had successfully erased all traces — was due to an anomaly detected near the border of the Chaos Universe. No one sensed what happened or even detected when the Destruction General acted. The only signs that sothing had happened were the fact that the Chaos Universe lost millions of tilines in a matter of hours.

Wang Wei and everybody else entered a white world. The Source Qi and Heaven Cardinal followed them. The Source Qi Cardinal — who exuded the aura of an almighty God — began executing its task. A white, intense light entered everybody’s body, beginning the purification. anwhile, the Heaven Cardinal was distracted.

"I am more suited to receive Grand Dao’s power and execute this task. So, why didn’t she choose ?" the Heaven Cardinal thought. "Did she notice sothing? If so, I need to hurry up." Since the latter hasn’t ordered his execution or punishnt, it ans he still has a chance.

Roar and grunts of pain could be heard as soon as the purification process began, which imdiately showed an issue since even the Tribunal Lords had an ugly expression on their faces as if they were experiencing the cruelest of torture. After living for so long and reaching such a height in cultivation, what kind of pain haven’t they suffered? Yet, even they couldn’t let a few grunts escape their lips.

Out of all the people in this purification world, the only one who did not utter a word was Wang Wei. It’s easy to assu it’s because his pain tolerance was out of this world, but that was not the reason. No. Unlike everybody, his experience was different. No light entered his body. Instead, a towering eye manifested within his spiritual world, glancing at him with indifference — no, not indifference, for he sensed a desire to eradicate him.

"Grand Dao," Wang Wei calmly bowed. However, the eye had no desire to communicate with him. A dark lightning bolt suddenly manifested above his head, ready to strike him down and eradicate this scourge.

"Now that you lost, you want to overthrow the gaboard?" Wang Wei sneered. He suddenly felt great disdain for Grand Dao, losing all respect for all its brilliant plans. Sadly, words will not deter Grand Dao’s desire to eliminate him, so Wang Wei imdiately activates the Causality Mark his future self left on his body.

The lightning bolt finally stopped gathering. Why did Grand Dao seal instead of killing Cthulhu? Could it be that it couldn’t kill a creature of the third step? Maybe Cthulhu is unique and cannot be killed? But even if that were true, Grand Dao could have still exiled it to where it ca from. So, why spend so much ti and resources to keep it alive and sealed?

The answer is simple: she fears the aftermath. Like Wang Wei, she also deduced that the current Great Old One might be a clone. So, what will the main body do if the clone is dead? And even if this was the main body, what about all the other mbers of its race? Cthulhu has many families, including sons, father, grandfathers, and even great-grandfather. What if one of those abominations is drawn to the Chaos Universe after this one is destroyed? What if Cthulhu calls for help after its release? With all these concerns, Grand Dao had no choice but to adopt this cost-inducing thod: sealing.

And that’s what the causality mark was for. If Wang Wei dies, the nas of all of Cthulhu’s family will spread to people with a close karmic connection with him, along with a task of avenging Wang Wei by summoning all the Great Ones to wreak havoc on the Chaos Universe. In other words, Wang Wei beca a nuclear deterrent.

Grand Dao was quiet. Its worst fear had co. Why did she isolate the Prehistoric World (especially the Earthlings) and prevent anyone from entering the Primordial Tiline? This was one of the reasons. Having access to knowledge from beyond the Chaos Universe made these Earthlings quite valuable, but also a danger to the very fabric of existence.

Wang Wei calmly waited, remaining as confident as ever. However, his smirk did not last long. The River of Fate suddenly manifested above his Spirit World, and even with his weak perception, he could tell Grand Dao was trying to stop his causality mark. He trusted his future self, but if Grand Dao wanted to pay any price to stop the mark, she would definitely succeed.

"You understand stopping the mark is pointless, right?" Wang Wei asked. "I have people who love enough to overturn Heaven and Earth to revive . So, even if you kill and wipe my existence from reality, once these people reach a high enough level, they will rember and bring back. So, what’s the plan? Do you also want to stop them from cultivating?"

Sadly, his words were pointless. Grand Dao was determined to wipe him out at all costs. Wang Wei watched as the [River of Fate] created a [Causality Cage] around him, followed by Grand Dao condensing a Bolt of Destruction to wipe him out.

"Is this the cost of having wisdom without the matching strength?" Wang Wei calmly thought. His wisdom was indeed unparalleled, capable of influencing the Chaos Universe at its highest level. However, with his weak cultivation, the backlash is sothing he cannot bear. Wang Wei was confident that if he were a Tribunal Lord — no, even just a Primordial Saint — he could find a way out of this dire situation. But as a Paragon, he was truly powerless.

"Well, it doesn’t matter. This is just a temporary stop," Wang Wei thought. His journey to the pinnacle of the Dao will not stop here. As he told Grand Dao, he has people who will ensure his return no matter the cost. Although he may have to wait a while, it will happen.

"No, I might not even have to wait too long," Wang Wei calmly analyzed. "Even if Grand Dao erased all traces of my existence, there is one person who will rember : Hongjun. As long as this bastard sees as the only way to protect the Prehistoric World from the upcoming calamities, he’ll facilitate my revival. The only issue is I will owe too much of a karmic debt to him, but that’s better than being dead."

Wang Wei calmly waited for the outco, his mind and will unwavering. Nothing can stop his ascension to the top, even death itself. There may be so delays and turbulence along his path, but Wang Wei was confident he was destined to transcend the universe, Dao, and all concepts.

The cage was completed, and the lightning bolt was ready to descend. However, just as this event was about to be engraved in the annals of history, a sudden voice diverged this fate nexus from the established conclusion:

"You want to make a widow? You want to break all the rules? Fine. Let’s fight without any decorum."

A beautiful, jade-like hand manifested in the spiritual world. The colossal hand — which has transcended space-ti — did not attack the lightning bolt or Grand Dao’s eyes. No, it attacked sothing beyond Wang Wei’s detection, but whatever it was, it forced Grand Dao to stop its action and confront the hand.

A terrible battle seed to be happening sowhere, but while Wang Wei could sense the terrifying aura, he could not detect the event itself. However, the terrifying roar, echoing once in a while, indicates that soone — most likely Grand Dao — was not happy.

Wang Wei smiled. He could recognize that beautiful hand even in his dreams. "Wife, it’s good to see you."
