Shichen and Yunyun walked back to the inn together without exchanging a single word.

It wasn't that Yunyun had suddenly seen Shichen's "true colors" and felt disappointed in him; rather, she was still savoring the pleasant mood from earlier, while he was wondering whether to take out a certain item of his.

They were still holding hands on the way back, only Shichen had switched to holding Yunyun's hand with his other hand.

Shichen waited till she opened the door and stepped inside before turning to unlock his own.

Just as Shichen was about to open his door, he heard a cry of surprise from Yunyun's room.

Inside, a stunning blond girl sat on Yunyun's bed.

—or at least, it would have, had she not lowered her head to take a shaless, deep sniff of the pillow she was hugging, face blissful like an obsessed fangirl.

For the record, Yunyun's pillow was still on the bed; gumin, lying without one, made it obvious whose pillow Cecily had appropriated.

"Who's she?" Shichen asked, the mory clicking.

"Ah—Shichen…" Yunyun explained, "This is Cecily. gumin and I t her before; she's a priestess of the Axis Church."

"The Axis Ch—"

"…Yes," Yunyun nodded awkwardly.

"Oh—Yunyun! And this—whoa, what a super-handso guy! Hello, I'm Cecily. Care to join the Axis Church?" Cecily's eyes sparkled at Shichen.

"…gumin, why is this Cecily person in your room?" Shichen ignored her and spoke to gumin.

"Aw ~ Even his indifference is cool!" Cecily squealed.

"…I don't know."

gumin sat up, glaring at Shichen. "I was sleeping fine till she barged in. It's your fault for not locking the door."

"Blaming us now?" Shichen chuckled, walking over.

"W-what are you doing?"

Shichen lifted gumin, sat where she'd been, and set her on his lap.

"Hey! I'm not a cushion!" gumin protested, though she didn't really struggle.

"I need a hug-pillow too." He wrapped his arms around her.

"I'm no pillow—let go!"

"Behave, or I'll let her watch 'educate' you again."

"Ugh…"

"Yunyun, want to sit, too?" Shichen asked.

"I-I'm fine!" Yunyun shook her head furiously.

"Suit yourself."

He finally turned to Cecily. "So, priestess of the Axis Church—what brings you to Axel?"

"Mm! You left hanging for so long—just what I'd expect from a cool guy. I like you!" Cecily wriggled with her pillow.

"…Is she always like this?" Shichen asked gumin.

"Yeah. She adores lolis and shotas. Everyone in the Axis Church is a pervert!" gumin shuddered at the mory.

"So she's a hardcore lolicon." Shichen nodded.

"Don't say it like that! Lolis are soft, delicate treasures of the world."

"True." Shichen agreed.

"I only agreed with her. I never claid to be one." He flicked her forehead.

"No thanks. I'm not interested in Axis cultists."

"Was it on purpose? You beat till I couldn't move so you could take Yunyun alone!" gumin swatted his hand, glaring suspiciously.

"Hmph! You bully every day. Isn't that bad enough?"

"What? You bully gumin every day? She said you pounded her till she couldn't move—is that true?!" Cecily cut in angrily.

"None of your business," Shichen said coldly.

"I won't allow anyone to harm a loli!"

"Really? If I were bullying gumin, would she be sitting quietly on my lap like this?"

"…That's true."

"W-who's quiet! Let go!" gumin squird.

"Don't move." Shichen gave a light smack to her side.

"Wow—how'd you do that? Can you teach ?" Cecily's eyes lit up.

"No. It's our little understanding."

"Understanding… gumin, you found a man behind my back! Traitor! How could you abandon ?" Cecily pouted.

"Who found a man?! Stop spouting nonsense!" gumin shouted.

"Then why do you let him hold you?"

"Um, Cecily-san, his na is Shichen," Yunyun reminded her.

"Hmm?" Cecily's gaze turned sly. "Don't tell … you both…?"

"U-uh…" Yunyun lowered her head bashfully.

"What are you trying to say?" gumin asked.

"Heh-heh," Shichen grinned proudly.

"So how about keeping instead? Then I can stay with gumin and the others forever!"
