Morning.
Shichen was woken up by knocking at the door.
"Shichen-dono? Are you up yet? It's already late~"
Knock knock knock.
The knocks weren't loud, but they were enough to pull him from sleep.
He opened his eyes to a blur of silver-white… and imdiately noticed the soft, silky sensation under his hand.
Est was lying on top of him, fast asleep.
His arm was wrapped around her slender waist. She wasn't wearing anything—
Well, except for a pair of black thigh-high socks.
His hand slid down a little and gave a soft squeeze, then he sat up and leaned against the headboard.
Just the two of them in the bed.
Also, for the record, Shichen was only wearing sleep shorts. Which ant—yeah, skin-on-skin contact. Cool, smooth, and ridiculously comfortable.
The room had just been reassigned last night. Everyone else had moved out, so his room—and his bed—was smaller now.
Still, with space magic, things could be reshaped however he wanted. Even if they had a full house, no one had to worry about running out of space.
Not everyone had their own room, though. They were already way too comfortable with each other for that.
"Haaah—Tohru, I'm awake," Shichen yawned lazily.
He'd gone to bed late after rearranging the rooms, and Tohru and the others had tried to sleep with him again.
Honestly, he suspected they only agreed to the room changes for the sa reason he did.
But it was night one. No way he was letting them crawl back in with him. He said no.
…Est didn't count.
She was his sword. Sleeping with your sword was about bonding. One day, they'd be able to fight as one.
Besides, he didn't even know how to wield a sword.
"Shichen-dono? Are you up?"
Tohru's voice was perky and excited—and then she opened the door.
"Good morni—wait, Est?! What are you doing?!"
Tohru's scream practically shook the room.
Est finally stirred. She slowly opened her eyes, gave them a rub, looked at Tohru—
Paused.
And calmly closed her eyes again.
"Get off of Shichen-dono!"
Already dressed in her maid uniform, Tohru marched over, climbed on the bed, and tried to shove Est away.
But Est just wrapped her arms around Shichen's neck and nuzzled in.
Tohru couldn't move her an inch.
"Shichen-dono! Take your hand off her butt!"
"…Fine." Shichen gave a cheeky squeeze before letting go.
"Mmm…" Est humd, squeezing him tighter.
"Ughhh!" Tohru practically fud.
She stood up on the bed, straddled Shichen, and tried to pull Est off by the waist.
Didn't work. Est wasn't budging.
"Shichen-dono, you're so biased!" Tohru pouted, on the verge of tears.
"Biased? How?" Shichen chuckled.
From his view, he saw Tohru over Est's snowy-white back.
Honestly, it looked like staring out over a mountain of fresh snow.
Est was a spirit—she was designed by the gods or sothing.
Total perfection.
Sure, maybe not ideal for soone into mature curves…
But to Shichen? She was flawless.
"You didn't let sleep with you, but Est gets to? And she's naked!"
"Est's different. And she's not naked—see?" He pointed at her black thigh-highs. "She's wearing those."
"That's not different at all!"
"It absolutely is."
Est loosened her hold, sat up on Shichen's stomach, and gave Tohru a blank look.
"Thigh-highs matter."
"…." Tohru's mouth twitched.
She knew Est had weird standards of modesty, but this was on another level.
"Why are you yelling so early?" Est said calmly. "You woke up."
"It's almost ti to open the café! And why'd you sneak in here?!"
"Sneak? I always do this. Onii-chan likes it."
"Shichen-dono likes it? Then I'm doing it too!"
Without warning, Tohru grabbed the hem of her maid outfit and ripped it off.
Shichen didn't even have ti to stop her.
Underneath was… well, sothing explosive. Covered, technically, in pale yellow undergear—but barely.
The exposed skin? Smooth, porcelain white, dangerously distracting.
Tohru was built exactly right: curves where it counted, toned where it mattered.
She claid she was a D-cup. Shichen had, um, confird that. Multiple ways.
"Hehe~"
She felt his stare and grinned smugly. Then reached behind herself, and snap—off ca the clasp.
The whole world seed to bounce as the fabric slipped off, revealing everything.
Shichen suddenly craved cherry pudding. No—make that two.
Tohru still wasn't done. She straightened one leg, reaching to strip the last layer—
But just then—
"What the hell is going on? It's so loud this morni—Tohru?!"
Chisato Nishikigi stood in the doorway, completely frozen.
And she wasn't alone.
"What happened?" asked Utaha Kasumigaoka, stepping in.
"Oh? Already this chaotic in the morning?"
"What chaos?" said another voice—Tohka Yatogami peeked in.
"Wha—Shichen! What are you guys doing?!"
"What's going on?" Eriri followed up, poking her head in.
"Uh…?"
She froze on the spot, cheeks going bright red at the sight inside.
"Oh co on, don't be shocked~ This is a normal morning," Utaha said with a smirk.
"Normal?!"
"Alright, everyone's here now. Tohru, cut it out," Shichen finally said.
"Tch. Ruined my mont." Tohru grumbled, letting go.
"You're the one who scread and brought them," Est said flatly.
"It's your fault!"
"No it's not. Onii-chan and I were fine until you barged in."
"Hmph! I'm not letting you win tonight!"
"Not possible. I'm his sword. I'll always be with him."
Est gave a small smile, then turned into a stream of white light and vanished into the crest on Shichen's hand.
"Ughh!!" Tohru growled in frustration.
"Alright, alright."
Shichen ruffled her hair affectionately.
"Didn't you say it's late? Let's open the café."
"Mmm…"
"Here, I'll help you with your bra."
"Okay~ but you can cop a feel if you want~"
"No way! They're all watching!"
"You guys, stop staring!" Tohru barked at the group by the door.
"In your dreams," Chisato snorted.
"Shichen, help get dressed too," Tohka stepped into the room.
"Tohka…" Eriri opened her mouth, not sure what to say.
"Eh, don't bother. You don't even need a bra," Utaha said bluntly.
"Utaha Kasumigaoka! Don't go too far!" Eriri snapped, baring tiny fangs—adorably.
"Just stating facts."
"You—!"
"Do you two seriously argue every day?" Shichen walked over, shaking his head.
"Prince Onii-chan…" Eriri started to play cute—then saw his bare chest and defined abs.
Instant dizziness.
"Like what you see?" Utaha leaned over and whispered in her ear.
"I—I didn't look!" Eriri squeaked, blushing furiously.
"Wanna touch?"
"I—uh…"
"Alright, stop ssing with her," Shichen said.
"Aww, getting protective?"
"C'mon, Chisato, let's head downstairs."
"Shichen—your clothes," Chisato reminded him.
"I'll throw sothing on later."
"Okay then."
She hooked his arm and skipped down the stairs with him.
"Oh right, Shichen! Can you co with in a few days?"
"For what?"
"License renewal. I need a physical and a fitness test."
"For Lycoris?"
"Mmhmm!"
"That stuff's still a thing?"
"You never know! Co on, just co with ~" Chisato whined, clinging to his arm.
"Alright, alright. I've got stuff to do there anyway."
"Wait, you do? What is it?"
"Not telling."
"Hmph! Tell eee~"
"Heh heh~"
"Um… can I co too?" A voice popped up behind them—Takina Inoue.
They turned to see her standing there, serious expression on her cute face.
"Huh? What for?" Chisato asked.
"I… I want to see the Commander," Takina said, locking eyes with Shichen.
Whether she could go or not—it was his call.
"Shichen?" Chisato asked.
"Sure, bring her along," Shichen nodded.
"Really?!" Takina blinked.
"Why not? You might be disappointed though," he said with a grin.
