Most demons’ thoughts are straightforward and simple. Baili An did not engage in discussions about the future world trends and philosophies like Su and Yin. He didn’t waste much effort on emotional rhetoric to try to move the hearts of these demons.
He only had one simple statent: "I want to be your master."
Since he had other plans for this world, it was naturally impossible to just look out for himself alone. Baili An was not a sage of perfect benevolence. His heart had desires, so he naturally wouldn’t uphold the conduct of a gentleman who claims to have no desires.

While hesitating and lingering, Baili An calmly spoke again: "It’s entirely up to your own will to co and go. If you are unwilling to accept as your master, you may leave on your own. I will not force you to stay."
With one simple sentence, he broke the norm of forcibly collecting demon slaves.
The demons were truly shocked, seeing Baili An’s serious and calm deanor that seed genuine. They vaguely guessed at sothing.
So demons initially wanted to stubbornly resist, trying to escape with determination, thinking that at worst, they could rember the youth’s appearance and repay today’s kindness with future deeds when opportunity arose.

The demons exchanged glances, as if looking at a monster with naive and absurd ideas.
Such monsters were never rare in history. Mortal World demons had been suppressed by Heavenly Dao for too long, and over ti, several would always pop up like bamboo shoots, geniuses with rebellious and unconventional ideas.
With ambitions as high as the sky, heaven and earth could be turned upside down by such geniuses.
But so what, in the end they often die in the wilderness, bones exposed mournfully.
Baili An did not possess that so-called fervent ambition, yet, for so reason, under his calm deanor, not a single one of the fifteen hundred demons chose to leave.
In the long silence, finally a demon spoke:
"Replacing the Underground Dark City, can we truly achieve that with just us?"

The Dark City is undoubtedly the nightmare land for all demons and even everything that can be sold. From the Warring Kingdoms of Good and Evil period, it has cast an eerie shadow over the entire Tianyao Continent, like a towering tree entrenched for thousands of miles on the earth. It would be impossible to uproot the Dark City without flipping the entire earth over.
Baili An shook his head and said: "Rather than doubting your strength by doing nothing, it’s better to do it and confirm your strength."
