"This matter has no solution."

Cang Nanyi’s expression was sowhat cold: "The one who suppressed this dragon is quite skilled. He used the power of the Heavenly Mountain through the Thirteen Sword Souls’ Star Rope to imprison the White Dragon in this realm. The source of the Thirteen Soul Cones’ power is that very Heavenly Mountain.

If we wish to rescue it, there’s only one way: sever the Thirteen Star Rope, causing the Heavenly Mountain to collapse, only then can it regain its freedom."

The power of the Divine Statue had evidently reached its limit. Just after saying these last words, the divine light around Cang Nanyi shattered entirely, and his figure dispersed like specks of fireflies.

Baili An stood up, approached the dragon’s back, and studied those thirteen Soul Cones for a long ti, seeing the endless changes in the runes on the cones, without any flaws.

At least, based on the current understanding and insights Baili An had on the way of runes, he was completely at a loss in the face of the Thirteen Soul Cones.

He had no choice but to climb back up onto the Dragon Horn, lean over it, and blow a breath towards the White Dragon’s forehead.

"Great White Dragon, I can’t take you away right now. If you don’t mind, let cut off a tuft of your Dragon Tail Feather, and once I leave, I will seek out the Heavenly Seal Sword Master to inform him of this matter.

Although he isn’t very easy-going, he is ultimately a just and reasonable person. Let’s see if he can find a way to release you."

The White Dragon let out a low hum at this form of address, appearing sowhat displeased.

Seeing it had no significant reaction, Baili An took it as consent and turned down from the Dragon Horn.

He cut a tuft of silver-white tail fur, resembling snow, from the end of the White Dragon’s tail, carefully stored it, then looked up at the silver-white dragon suppressed by chains and Soul Cones for two hundred years.

Its deep blue, beautiful dragon eyes were lowered, gazing back at him.

In just a single day in this realm, Baili An felt the subtle change in emotions in those giant eyes.

From initial indifference and cruelty to now a calm and distant deanor.

A brutal giant dragon, which should have been cold and heartless towards mortal ants, now displayed a gaze similar to that of a reindeer.

Baili An looked at it and spoke seriously, "The power guarding the Thirteen Soul Cones is too strong. I can’t promise that I can definitely save you right now, but if you are willing to trust , I hope you can wait for ."

The White Dragon made no further sounds, its whiskers floated slowly through the air, lightly curling around his arm, touching and parting, as if in response.

Baili An felt a coolness on his wrist, with a wisp of energy swirling around it.

That energy was guiding him, pointing the way to leave.

Deeply grateful, Baili An solemnly bowed to the White Dragon, and then, under its guidance, he stepped onto the Autumnwater Sword and broke through the realm to leave.

Having passed through the layers of the Abyss Realm, Baili An was suddenly transported by the power of the spatial array to another mountain peak, without any sign of Evergreen Pavilion nor the figure of Zangxin.

By then, it was nearly noon. With the first clear day after a winter snow, the warm sunlight shining onto the snowy mountains was dazzlingly bright.

Having been in darkness for so long, Baili An found it hard to adjust to such strong light. Instinctively, he thought to summon the Glazed Umbrella, only to rember he’d given it to the Second Sword Yue Nu long ago.

Baili An was quite helpless.

Though his realm had reached the Tribulation Transcendence phase, allowing him not to fear the sun’s rays for a short period,

With the noonti sun shining down, his skin still felt a fiery, peeling sting, as if being roasted on a fire rack.

He headed toward the depths of the snow forest, using the dense trees to hide from the blazing sun.

Just as he stepped into the forest, a subtle yet profoundly heavy vibration ca from beneath his feet.

Baili An narrowed his eyes in a frown, looking around, but saw not a grain of snow had fallen from the leaves. That intensely subtle movent seed an illusion.

He suddenly sensed a strange aura in the air, but before he could think deeply about it, a bell tolled from the distant mountains.

The Heavenly Seal Sword Pavilion had opened.

Line upon line of golden light pierced through the clouds, with auspicious clarity enveloping the Heavenly Mountain. A column of light descended, and to the south of the Heavenly Mountain, the tower doors opened.

Before the tightly closed tower door, led by Ying Xiu and Qi Liancheng, stood a throng of people.

Amid the crowd, with heads moving and whispering ceaselessly.

Sword Master Yu, clad in black and red sword attire, stood before the tower’s sword stele, holding a Stone Scroll, using a carving knife as a pen, engraving an Imperial Decree.

Baili An heard the commotion, changed into clean clothes in the forest, and rushed to the scene. For the Sword Pavilion with its secret texts coveted by all, he had little interest at the mont.

Holding tightly to the tuft of Dragon Tail Feather in his palm, his gaze almost instantly found that solemn figure in front of the stele.

Baili An was about to step forward when the sharp-eyed Crown Prince Ying Xiu spotted and blocked him.

"The Sect Master is contemplating the heavenly destiny and the Imperial Decree, idlers must not approach." Relying on his height advantage, Ying Xiu looked down at Baili An with displeasure.

With Sword Master Yu’s carving knife retracted into his sleeve, the Stone Scroll was inserted into the long stele, and a few lines of golden script shimred on the ancient, pristine surface:

"After listening to a thousand lodies, one comprehends sound; after seeing a thousand swords, one discerns the instrunt."

The Sword Pavilion opened wide, and people began to enter one after another.

Ying Xiu couldn’t suppress the joy and anticipation on his face.

"Brother Ying Xiu, I’ve long yearned for the Sword Pavilion, I’ll proceed first."

Qi Liancheng, with his gaze impassively sweeping over Baili An, perfectly concealed the surprise and puzzlent in his eyes, lightly smiling as he stepped inside.

Ying Xiu, unconcerned with further banter with Baili An, hurriedly moved towards the open doors of the Sword Pavilion, his steps brisk, as if fearing he might be left behind.

His resolve for the Sword Pavilion this ti was unwavering, and combined with the rare permission from his father for this journey up the mountain, only served to heighten his sense of fulfillnt.
