Unlike Sword Flight, which simply required picking a direction and flying straight, he had to navigate jungles, cross wooden bridges, and traverse mountains.

Pondering atop his horse for a while, Baili An frustratingly realized he would have to do what he despised most: talk to people to ask for directions.
Unfortunately, he had already left Bai Tuo Mountain’s jurisdiction, and where he was now, there wasn’t a village or shop in sight.
Aside from himself and his horse, there were only woodland and thickets, with the occasional eerie howl of wolves and the clear singing of insects.
Baili An sighed helplessly, dismounted to feed the horse, allowing it a rest, then continued along the mountain path.
He usually required very little sleep, rarely more than an hour a day.
Therefore, even amidst the sparse stars and tranquility of night, he continued advancing tirelessly.
With the horse’s efforts, Baili An finally reached a small town.
His youthful face looked up slightly at the sign reading Beiliao Town above him, and a smile of joy spread across his face as he nudged his horse towards the town.
The town had many gates, but few residents, and even the vendors’ cries sounded weak and listless.
There was even a hidden sorrow in their eyes.
Baili An was quite puzzled, for Beiliao Town appeared much more prosperous than the rural settlents he had passed.
Yet why did the people here seem so dejected?
Thankfully, Baili An was composed by nature; had it been another youth, full of martial prowess and youthful zeal, they might have already dismounted, grabbed soone to demand answers.
