Seeing that her gauzy sleeve was indeed stained with a deep bloodstain and truly looked dirty, Mi Lu nodded in acknowledgnt and said softly, “It is getting late. You should rest now. As for the trouble of burning incense in her mory, I will handle it for you. Don’t worry.”
Ning Feiyan’s eyelids fell, and a touch of faint sarcasm surfaced in her eyes, only seen by Baili An who lay in her arms.

Baili An was weak, having lost too much blood, and he couldn’t move for the ti being.
Ning Feiyan did not like to drink tea; she only had clean water in her hall. She wet a handkerchief with water and calmly wiped the blood from her cuff, “Now that you’re awake, don’t you have any questions?”
She turned her face to him, gazing intently at Baili An with those compelling eyes and teased, “Although I’ve bound your body, I haven’t bound your speech.”
Baili An was full of questions but didn’t know where to start, and he knew that with Ning Feiyan’s nature, if he asked sothing crucial, she wouldn’t give a straight answer.
He thought for a mont and asked, “Why did you pick up before Mi Lu could? You seem not to want him to touch .”
Ning Feiyan was taken aback, as if she hadn’t expected his first question to be sothing so trivial.
She put down the handkerchief and rested her chin on her hand, looking at him with a mocking smile, “As I said, it’s dirty.”
Baili An fell silent for a mont and then said, “If it’s dirty, wouldn’t it be better to stop the bleeding first?”
Ning Feiyan burst into laughter, “I ant, Mi Lu is dirty. If he were to touch you, I wouldn’t want to hold you anymore, and that would never do. How would I make use of you in the future?”
