Baili An put down the handkerchief, looked at her, and laughed: "Do you think I saved you to sell you?"

"...I’m sorry." The little Bamboo Demon slowly lowered her head, her fingers anxiously twisting her clothes: "I know I’m not worth the price of that Spirit Stone, can I repay you slowly in the future?"

Baili An chuckled: "I don’t need you to repay ."

"You Ning, my na is You Ning." The little demon obviously hadn’t taken in Baili An’s words. For demons and monsters alike, nas hold extraordinary significance.

By saying her na was You Ning, she wasn’t just telling Baili An her na; she was, in a mystical way, offering her na with the third word spirit in the world, surrendering her ownership.

If Baili An had such intentions at this mont, using this little Bamboo Demon to sacrifice the sword for Soul Attachnt would certainly have a ten out of ten success rate.

Baili An looked at her helplessly; although this little demon had suffered greatly in the Mortal World, experiencing the warmth and coldness of human relationships and remaining wary and hateful towards all humans, her nature was ultimately still simple.

With just a few words, she willingly offered her na. Let alone her life, even her body and soul were handed over to Baili An to keep, this utterly unreserved attitude truly left one helpless.

"Don’t think that I’m easy to deceive." You Ning was clever, and in an instant understood Baili An’s expression. She said seriously, "I know, you’re different from the others. Other people capture and refine demons rely to grow strong and satisfy their desires, but you are different. I am willing to entrust my na to you."

Baili An did not say much in response; he obviously understood that to gain this little demon’s trust and openness probably wasn’t just because he spent a Spirit Stone to buy her an elixir for healing.

More so, she saw him buying those carts of demons.

Baili An dried his hands and stood up: "Let’s go. Seeing your excitent, I’m guessing so of your friends or family are in those carts. I’ll take you to see them."

The separate courtyard arranged by the City Lord was large enough; exiting the cool courtyard, turning a few corners, they arrived at a room in the back small building where the bought demons were placed.

These demons were all significantly injured. Although Baili An had long thrown away the baton given by the Demon Trainer, as he pushed the door open to enter, those demons instinctively shrank back, terrified, hiding in the shadows, dreading the harsh whippings and beatings by iron rods.

The Bat Demon, who had an eye pierced through, lay dying on the ground, with half of her face blackened and raw flesh exposed, her dirty body emitting a foul odor, and one could see from the mottled bloodstains on the ground that besides her face, there were nurous hidden injuries on her body.

Upon hearing the door open, her two drooping bat wings slightly trembled, and she imdiately let out a scream, disregarding her heavy injuries, as her ten claws extended violently, lunging fiercely towards Baili An, seemingly intent on tearing him to shreds.

The Demon Suppressing Talisman on her was yet to be undone, and her body still hadn’t stood up completely before the symbols around her neck and limbs suddenly shone brightly.

Accompanied by her miserable scream, the electric shock emanating from the symbols caused her such pain that she stumbled and fell, the relentless crackling purple electrical current searing her body, creating gaping red wounds on her skin.

The Bat Demon rolled in pain, yet she refused to plead for rcy.

She was a demon with a stubborn nature.

Baili An entered the room, grasped the Bat Demon’s arm, and with the surge of Spiritual Power from his palm, dissipated the five talismans on her body.

The current ceased, the Bat Demon let out a roar, seemingly loathing the human touch as she fiercely bit into Baili An’s wrist, her tusks rcilessly releasing their lethal bat venom, green poison flowing from between her lips and teeth.

Unfortunately, even as Baili An stood still, allowing her to bite, those tusks could never pierce his skin.

Baili An sighed softly, turned his hand, freeing her from his teeth, and firmly pinched the Bat Demon’s chin, tilting her head upward, and lowered his head to bite into her neck.

The Bat Demon’s hateful roar was abruptly quenched into a soft moan, the sound not as if in pain, as under Baili An’s cold sharp tusks, she even felt a subtle pleasure.

As the blood in her neck vessels was sucked and swallowed by him, her body seed to ignite, gradually rising into a subtle state of unwillingness to stop, as if she was slowly sinking into a world of unparalleled wonder.

The little Bamboo Demon covered her mouth with her hands, her large eyes filled with astonishnt and confusion.

Not long ago, filled with poison barbs and ferocity, the Bat Demon slowly softened beneath Baili An, her arms helplessly clutching his sleeves, her two bat wings behind her occasionally quivered and fluttered like a dying moth.

Finally, Baili An released her neck, wiped the blood from his lips, and raised an eyebrow: "Cald down?"

"You..." The Bat Demon, though a bloodthirsty Demon, often consud the blood of mountain animals while cultivating in the mountains, never conceiving the day she would be drained of her own blood.

Moreover, drained so... comfortably?

Her bones felt like they would turn into soft, brittle crumbs.

She looked at the hidden tusks beneath Baili An’s lips and knew this young man couldn’t be human, her mind linking him to the corpse demons active in the dark, cold world.

She should have been terrified.

Yet the lingering numb pleasure in her neck made it hard for her truly to fear this young man again.
