Now reading: Chapter 35: Who Is Jujutsu Kaisen's Biggest Glazer? from Jujutsu Kaisen: Naoya Zenin Wants to Live!, a Action novel by PinkSnake2.

Yuki Tsukumo.

One of the four Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerers in the jujutsu world, and the only woman among them. It was because of her existence that the very category of Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerer ca to be.

When it cos to seniority, even Satoru Gojo has to admit defeat.

Star Plasma Vessel, Reverse Cursed Technique, Domain Expansion, shikigami created through technique materialization...

She has more trump cards than anyone could count.

She is also the most mysterious figure in the jujutsu world.

Looking across the original work, Yuki Tsukumo appears only a handful of tis, but every appearance is on the level of turning the whole situation upside down.

Her first appearance ca after Satoru Gojo killed Toji Fushiguro, when he had his breakthrough and ascended to beco the strongest modern Jujutsu Sorcerer. After traveling the world, Yuki Tsukumo returned to Jujutsu High for one reason only, to et this vividly larger-than-life legendary boy.

But at that mont, Satoru Gojo happened to be away on a mission, so the one she t was Suguru Geto, who was hovering on the edge of falling into darkness.

Under a normal plot, Yuki Tsukumo, as the senpai, should have guided her junior Suguru Geto and used the light and warmth of a veteran to pull Satoru Gojo's best friend back onto the right path.

Who could have guessed that Yuki Tsukumo would do the exact opposite? Not only did she fail to correct him, she actually agreed with Suguru Geto's series of extre ideas. The passion of the older generation of the jujutsu world completely ignited the darkness in the young man's heart, and he blackened on the spot, swearing to kill every single Mortal in the world.

In other words, if Yuki Tsukumo hadn't suddenly decided to return ho on a whim, Suguru Geto would never have even realized defecting from Jujutsu High was an option.

Her second appearance was during the Shibuya Incident. Kenjaku and the cursed spirit group set a trap to seal Satoru Gojo, and Jujutsu Sorcerers of every rank threw themselves into the battlefield as though facing a calamity. Without daddy Gojo protecting them, countless sorcerers fell in that battle, and Kenjaku's overwhelming strength drove them into despair.

Just as the whole side was about to be wiped out, Yuki Tsukumo, who had been slacking off and staying invisible, finally showed up and made her grand entrance.

At first, it felt like a king descending from the heavens in fury.

But unexpectedly, Yuki Tsukumo went and dropped an absolute disaster. As the jujutsu world's final trump card, she was actually shaken by Kenjaku's talk-no-jutsu, turned hesitant, chose to wait and see, and in the end let Kenjaku successfully launch the Culling Ga.

Her final appearance was at the Tombs of the Star, where she stood as Tengen's guardian general, waiting for a fight to the death with Kenjaku.

Even her fighting style was sneaky and overly cautious. Despite being a Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerer on the sa level as Satoru Gojo, she hid in the shadows and watched Choso fight Kenjaku one-on-one. Only after Choso burned his blood essence and forced out Kenjaku's trump card did she finally appear in style, ready to steal the kill on the low-health target.

Ho-field advantage, the righteous side ganging up on one enemy, full preparation, gathered intel...

No matter how you looked at it, Kenjaku should have fallen to Yuki Tsukumo today.

But heaven is fair.

If you screw others over, others will screw you over in return.

Yuki Tsukumo had screwed people over so many tis before that, at the critical mont, Tengen directly turned into the biggest backstabber of them all. Despite holding every advantage, Yuki Tsukumo completely fumbled it and was cut in half on the spot by Kenjaku, creating the most cutting-edge research result in Jujutsu Kaisen.

She beca 44.9% Yuki and kicked off a brutal digital-age death spiral for the future of the jujutsu world.

A lot of people might think Satoru Gojo is the biggest fraud in the original work, since he lost to Ryon Sukuna and got bisected.

But anyone who really knows what they're talking about had already spotted the biggest war criminal at a glance.

Dead weight, leeching, pressure...

The only difference between Yuki Tsukumo and a sanitary pad is that the pad is useful.

Her only contribution to the jujutsu world was digging up a weirdo disciple like Aoi Todo.

But things are different now.

Naoya Zenin is about to give this number one fraud of the jujutsu world a fully omniscient God's-eye view.

It couldn't be helped. Even if Yuki Tsukumo looked like roadside fodder in the original story, her stats were genuinely monstrous.

She had not only mastered countless high-level jujutsu techniques, but also made a habit of keeping a diary. Even after her death, she left behind a forbidden-arts to on the level of an all-purpose encyclopedia. No matter what problem ca up, you could crack it open and find an answer. In the end, the diary's greatest hits completely outshined its owner's.

If possible, what Naoya Zenin wanted most was to learn Reverse Cursed Technique directly through Yuki Tsukumo's guidance.

After all, once he mastered that supre life-saving technique, then no matter what happened in the future, as long as he wasn't cut in half on the spot, he would at least be able to keep himself alive.

"We're here!"

As the car rolled over the sound of stone paving, Oda imdiately got out first, quickly circled to the car door, and respectfully opened it for Naoya Zenin.

Before them stood the Kyoto Imperial Palace.

Before the capital was moved to Tokyo during the iji Restoration, this had been the imperial residence where generations of emperors lived. Even now, it still retained the solemnity and nobility of an imperial palace.

Its architecture was deeply influenced by the layout of China's Tang-era capitals. The sweeping eaves were dignified, the wooden structures plain and elegant, while also carrying that uniquely Japanese sense of quiet refinent and restraint.

Between white walls and dark tiles, ancient pines stood firm and weathered, white sand spread across the courtyards, and the imperial pressure and stillness ca rushing over them.

"It's a great honor to et you, Naoya Zenin-sama."

The well-trained guards quickly stepped forward to receive Naoya Zenin.

Oda, anwhile, was startled.

After all, the guards of the Kyoto Imperial Palace were among the very best in the jujutsu world. Normally, he could only look at them from afar. He would never dare go near them.

Naoya Zenin showed not the slightest trace of timidity. Instead, he calmly followed their lead across the red carpet and headed straight for the palace gates.

"The young head of the Zenin Clan! Heir to one of the Three Great Families! Special Grade 1 Sorcerer. Naoya Zenin! Arriving!!!"

The guards' voices were uniform and thunderous, echoing through the Kyoto Imperial Palace.

The mont the announcent ended, the lively reception hall fell silent, and every guest in the palace turned to look at Naoya Zenin.

Several Kyoto noblewon instinctively straightened their backs, quickly smoothing the folds in their skirts as they put on shy, lovely smiles.

The young aristocrats, anwhile, wore expressions of both awe and envy as they quietly discussed the many exploits of this legendary Jujutsu Sorcerer.

Naoya Zenin.

He was without question the brightest rising star at any aristocratic banquet.

And among the guests, there was one figure who stood out in particular, so much so that he almost seed out of place.

Naoya Zenin recognized him at a glance.

Satoru Gojo.

Although the strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer of the modern era had never liked social events, for so reason he had shown up at tonight's aristocratic gala at the Kyoto Imperial Palace. His outfit, however, was as casual as ever, showing absolutely no respect for any of these important people. The sa black clothes and blindfold as always.

"..."

Satoru Gojo only exchanged a distant glance with Naoya Zenin. He didn't greet him at all, and instead imdiately looked away.

Naoya Zenin had no intention of approaching him either.

After all, he really hadn't expected Gojo, that workaholic, to attend an event like this tonight.

These upper-class banquets were all about socializing and having fun, and there was no shortage of young people. It was exactly the kind of place that suited soone like Yuki Tsukumo, who liked finding a handso guy to have fun with. Just like in the sequel, where if you wanted to find the Tiger Emperor Yuji Itadori, all you had to do was go play pachinko. The guy in the hood losing nonstop was him.

And Naoya Zenin wasn't worried that Yuki Tsukumo might not be in Kyoto.

After all, the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons was a major event capable of shaking the jujutsu world. Yuki Tsukumo definitely wouldn't sit back and ignore it. She would certainly return to Japan and stay here for a while.

And for a woman who loved lively places and could never sit still, it was perfectly normal for her to spawn sowhere like this.

But for Gojo to show up here really was bizarre.

He was busy with work all day long. As the jujutsu world's weightlifting champion, the burden of the whole country rested on his shoulders. For such a pure, career-minded Jujutsu Sorcerer to appear in a place drenched in luxury and pleasure really was hard to understand.

What was going on?

Had the impossible finally happened?
