The evening ca after the whole attack on HQs and the school.

Currently, Naoya, gumi, and Toji were sitting in a hospital waiting area.

Miyuki Fushiguro was currently undergoing checkups after suddenly losing consciousness and being taken to a hospital.

Toji received a call from the hospital about the incident. Since he was in the middle of a job and far from ho, he couldn't arrive imdiately and called Naoya to check up on her and manage things until he arrived.

Naoya was equally worried and imdiately excused himself from the school, dragging gumi along as well.

Maki and Mai were sent to Tomoko to look after the kid while they checked on Miyuki. They didn't want to bring in the little girl and have her worry too much all of a sudden, and decided to keep her in the dark for now.

*Ping*

A notification ca on Naoya's phone.

"...Any idea what happened to her?" Toji asked.

"I have sent so of my people to check on the site where the ambulance picked her up. There weren't any caras that captured her collapsing or anyone interacting with her beforehand..... there were traces of cursed energy at the scene, though."

Naoya summarised the ssage.

As Toji processed the information, he clenched his fists tightly.

He tried to rember anyone who still might have grudges against him and had tried to harm his family.

No one ca to his mind. He killed everyone who had grudges against him or knew his face.

"It's probably not a sorcerer. They wouldn't attack in broad daylight in front of everyone, and if they had a grudge against you, they wouldn't leave her with just that."

Toji heard Naoya's analysis.

It made sense. If soone wanted revenge on Toji, they wouldn't have stopped there. Not to brag, but Toji did cause quite a lot of trouble back in the day, and anyone who was affected by that wouldn't stop the revenge at just that.

"So did she encounter a cursed spirit and get cursed by it?" gumi asked.

"Considering that the doctors can't find anything wrong with her body, that is a logical conclusion....Though I am having a hard ti digesting that theory." Naoya mumbled.

"Explain."

Toji demanded.

"...Today, there was a series of attacks on the Jujutsu society. Tokyo HQ, Kyoto HQ, Tokyo Jujutsu High, all of those locations were attacked simultaneously.. I don't think that it needs to be pointed out, but it was too much of a coordinated attack for it to just be passed as a coincidence."

Toji narrowed his eyes. The whole thing stinks of suspicion to him just by hearing it from Naoya.

"The attacks themselves were aid at splitting our forces rather than attacking us with a strong force on a particular front. Sothing else was on their agenda, but we don't yet know what it was. But after all this, only Miyuki nee-san got cursed in an open shopping district in broad daylight when many other people were there too....it's way too suspicious."

Toji and gumi got furious at the thought of soone targeting Miyuki.

Naoya was no different. He wanted to rip apart the one who was pulling all these things.

Unfortunately, they simply don't have any leads that can help them.

The only things that they knew right now were:

1) The cursed spirits were collaborating with humans

2) There were moles in the Jujutsu division that were working with the enemies.

3) Suguru Geto was sohow involved, either directly or indirectly.

4) Miyuki Fushiguro was targeted, but the reason for that was unknown.

None of those leads pointed anywhere useful.

Right now, the only thing that they can count on is the cursed spirit that Satoru captured and the curse user Naoya captured. Aside from that, he couldn't think of any other way to get more information that could help them.

"For now, I suggest you be more active in keeping a check on your surroundings. If this were just a warning shot from the people, they might target your family again. I will assign so of my personal n to keep a patrol in your area. I have ssaged Satoru to co and check on nee-san with his eyes to see if she is fine, and from there we will see how we should proceed."

Toji looked down and remained silent for a while before giving a nod.

"...Will she be fine?"

"If there is even a bit of chance to treat her, then you can bet on it that I will do everything to have her back on her feet."

Naoya patted Toji's back.

"Just don't lose hope.... You can't give up before we do. Otherwise, when she wakes up, I will snitch on you."

Toji's teeth clenched in frustration. He didn't know he could feel helpless like this.

Naoya and gumi could see the man tremble.

Naoya looked at gumi and took out so money from his pocket.

"gumi, go and get sothing to eat, you must be hungry too, right. Get sothing for us, too."

gumi wanted to say that he wasn't feeling hungry at all, but the look on Naoya's face made him stop.

There was just a small smile on Naoya's face. He wasn't trying to threaten gumi; rather, he looked worried. Worried for him and his father.

gumi took the money from Naoya and gave a nod.

After gumi left, Naoya got up from his seat as well and placed a handkerchief on Toji's lap before he walked away as well.

"Let it out now. After this, we might be busy wrecking shit up. If I am pissed at whoever did this to nee-san, then I am not even doubting for a second that you will let them live for what they did."

Naoya gave one last pat on Toji's back before he went away.

Toji didn't say anything. He simply grabbed the piece of cloth that Naoya left him and covered his face with it.

He couldn't even begin to describe how badly he wanted to kill the bastards responsible. He will make sure that they face his wrath. But for now....he wanted to grieve at his inability to keep her safe.

At the Tokyo Jujutsu High:

After the incident was over, the Goodwill event was cancelled altogether.

There was an ergency situation declared in the jujutsu society. It was not the ti for sorcerers to be busy playing an entertainnt ga.

Currently, in a small room of the school, the people who were present during today's incident were gathered.

Yaga, Gakuganji, Utahi, i i, and Gojo.

Naoya was also present on a phone call, and the group was discussing the incident that took place today.

Ichiji was also present there, who was giving a compiled report on everything that happened at all locations today.

"Are the students alright?"

Naoya's voice ca from the phone.

"Don't worry. They are alright. We had Shoko look at them after you left." Yaga replied.

"Good."

"The warehouses were raided, though...and the people who were guarding the warehouses were killed as well. The official report from Ieri-san is not here yet, but she is sure that the curse Nanami-san fought is involved."

Ichiji stated.

There was silence in the room.

This was probably the attackers' real objective. A sure-fire diversion tactic so that they can steal things from the Jujutsu division's warehouses.

"What are the things that were stolen?"

"We don't have that information yet. The only thing that we do know is that they are special grade cursed objects." Yaga added.

"Ichiji."

"Yes, Naoya-san."

"Get info on what all is stolen, we need to know what way things might be heading to. Considering such a huge mission, the things that they were after must not be that simple."

"Y-Yes."

"I am counting on you."

Naoya had a grim look on his face. Right now, when the whole Jujutsu division was in turmoil, his people would have difficulty gathering secret information from the division.

Ichiji, who was associated with the division and was mostly not under any suspicion, was better off getting this information in the current circumstances.

"Did the ones we captured give us any information?" Yaga asked.

"The curse user is complying easily, though; whatever he is saying is complete and utter nonsense. He did ntion attacking because it was a part of a deal he made with a monk. He doesn't know the monk's na, gender, or any other identifying details, just that they have white hair in a bob cut."

All of them heard the description and thought for a while.

They couldn't think of a particular person who'd fit that description.

"What about the curse?" Gojo asked.

The lava cyclops cursed spirit was probably their biggest lead at this mont. If they could get him to talk, then all things might proceed in their favour.

"The curse is currently being sent to be restrained and neutralised for further questioning. Thanks to Gojo-san, the curse was already very weakened, and to make sure that it stays that way, the higher-ups have ordered to have it restrained by jujutsu in a containnt cell."

Satoru snorted.

They need to wait a bit before they can start interrogating the curse.

The group continued their discussions, and after they were done with that. They disbanded.

Satoru and Utahi went to the hospital to check on Miyuki while the rest of them returned to their respective duties.

At the Tokyo Jujutsu division:

In an isolated restraining chamber, a group of sorcerers were chanting and performing a ritual to seal the weakened Jogo's CE and prevent it from recovering.

While restraining and containing curses wasn't uncommon, to perform it on a Special Grade curse definitely was super rare. Not to ntion the cursed spirit in question was a cut above the conventional Special Grade curses and even had quite a high level of intelligence.

The situation demanded extre caution, and the people who were performing the ritual knew that.

After the ritual was complete, the sorcerers who perford the ritual sighed and looked at the people standing behind them.

There were another team of sorcerers there, who were tasked with transporting the Special Grade curse to its cell.

"We will be counting on you all."

"Leave it to us!"

The two teams exchanged their greetings as the restrained Jogo was handed to them.

Once they collected him, they made their way to their destination, which was a barrier-seperated chamber designed specifically to handle high-level cursed tools and objects.

The group passed through the security checks along the way.

Jogo, for the most part, remained silent, only occasionally yelling or laughing at the sorcerers who were scared shitless of him.

Even right now, the presence Jogo was emitting was too much for most of the conventional sorcerers.

'Mahito's Cursed Energy....'

Jogo felt a familiar CE and looked forward.

The entrance was divided into several paths leading to different chambers.

Mahito and Geto most probably left from this spot.

The group passed through the entrance.

However, the mont Jogo made contact with the entrance, the hidden talisman embedded within the entrance suddenly lit up, and the barrier changed into a warp barrier.

Usually, a warp barrier is one that is fixed to a certain location and passing through it makes you appear in a completely different spot.

However, this warp barrier was different from other warp barriers, as, other than Jogo, no one seed to have been affected, and in the next instant, the restrained Jogo vanished from the sorcerers' sight.

Also, just stating it now before soone complains. chamaru is not in cahoots with Mahito and Kenjaku here. Because of Naoya's presence in Kyoto, Kenjaku decided not to tip him off by having his student act suspiciously.
