Chapter 1670: Chapter 1670: Space and Ti within the Palace

This space is actually in a relatively stable state. Although the spatial bodies floating in the air are constantly moving, because of their massive size, as long as they don’t collide violently, they will remain relatively stable to so extent. However, when these irregular gigantic objects clash, gaps are bound to arise.

As long as the location of these gaps is known, and under the condition of relative spatial stability, one can safely pass through the gaps.

If force is applied to the floating spatial bodies, even a slight change might cause more of them to collide. At that point, it might not just be ordinary friction that crushes monitoring devices and similar small items; it could even lead to the destruction of an entire city.

Xu Huo’s proposal did not gain the approval of Nie Xuan and the others.

Firstly, they did not sense that feeling of being watched. Based on the current situation, they only encountered obstacles from the Spatial Power, and the power of the eye pattern might only affect those who have experienced Secondary Evolution spiritually.

Secondly, after entering, Nie Xuan had already explained the general situation to Sha Chuan and the others. In simple terms, it’s like this space is filled with countless gigantic structures floating around. If one is pushed, it might collide with another, which could then hit a third. Once this kind of chain reaction starts, it’s not sothing they can control or change, and the risk won’t reduce.

“Even if the ntal Interference Force does exist, it might not have a significant impact imdiately,” Sha Chuan said. “If things really go wrong, we’ll still have ti to leave. But if a spatial collision starts, we’d have to leave imdiately.”

“Besides, haven’t you noticed?” Wei Xiaoyi pointed to both sides. “The route we’re taking happens to be on the streets. Doesn’t this suggest that the streets are relatively safe, with those spatial bodies sowhat avoiding this area?”

Xu Huo didn’t insist that his judgnt was undoubtedly correct; their considerations also made sense.

“Then let’s split up,” he suggested. “Our personal panels can be used to inform each other if anything happens.”

The reason he notified the Special Defense Departnt was to invite Nie Xuan specifically, as currently, whether in the military or the Special Defense Departnt, he’s the only one making good progress in Spatial Power, and his thod of Evolution is quite unique.

Inviting Nie Xuan didn’t an they had to accompany each other. Since their sensory experiences after entering differed, splitting up added an extra layer of protection, especially considering whether the ntal Interference targeted only him; he couldn’t be sure.

Nie Xuan agreed but asked for Wei Xiaoyi to accompany him.

“Wei Xiaoyi is ticulous and pays attention to detail, able to cooperate with you.”

Xu Huo didn’t waste words on this matter, backing off several ters with Wei Xiaoyi to avoid the eye-patterned door arch and then headed to another large door nearby.

Due to the influence of the spatial bodies, many buildings had collapsed. So were almost fully demolished, while others were partially crushed or had the roofs or middles bisected, just capturing half or a quarter of the structures. From the visible gaps, these appeared to have been neatly sliced off, with only so fallen stones remaining at the original site.

As soon as he set foot in the doorway, formally entering the building, Xu Huo imdiately felt the sense of being watched cut off. He looked back; separated by a line, the inside and outside of the doorway seed like two different spaces.

“The light inside the house is slightly better than outside,” Wei Xiaoyi observed the surroundings. “However, this doesn’t seem like a place where people live; it’s very open, with barely any furniture.”

They had actually noticed this while passing by these structures.

“These places probably weren’t built for residential purposes,” Wei Xiaoyi continued. “I’ve read so myths from different regions where certain religious believers would construct grand palaces for their gods… Of course, we also have such traditions, but we tend to highlight the god’s deanor. In many other mythologies, the divine palaces don’t directly incorporate statues but rather place symbolic objects or mythical beasts to guard the Divine Temple, inviting the deity to descend.”

“But rarely on such an enormous scale.”

“No matter the faith, they wouldn’t house all their gods in a single neighborhood,” Xu Huo casually remarked. “With doors facing doors, if believers went to the wrong one, wouldn’t that be awkward?”

Wei Xiaoyi paused, then forced a smile, “Mr. Xu has quite a sense of humor.”

Xu Huo didn’t look at her, instead passing through the main hall of the palace and walking along the side corridor.

Many places within the internal architecture were also solidified, with so architectural bodies trapped within the Spatial Barrier, like fruits inside jelly. If the Spatial Barrier collapses, those constructions will also crumble.

So spatial bodies fit snugly together like interlocking building blocks, only not as tightly.

Xu Huo chose such a place.

Following in his footprints, Wei Xiaoyi often looked at him curiously as he bent or lowered himself, but since she couldn’t perceive the Spatial Ray directly, she hesitated to touch anything, fearing she might cause trouble, and restrained herself.

“What kind of Secondary Evolution did you experience?” Xu Huo suddenly asked.

Wei Xiaoyi pulled herself back to attention, “Also spatial, but unlike you, Mr. Xu, and Chief Nie, I can only sense the movent of people in two or three adjacent spaces.”

“How do you usually train?” Xu Huo asked again.

Wei Xiaoyi bit her lip.

“Can’t say?” Xu Huo said. “No problem, your training thod might not be applicable to anyway.”

Feeling slightly embarrassed, Wei Xiaoyi responded, “Please don’t misunderstand, Mr. Xu. I genuinely hope to learn from your guidance, but we have confidentiality protocols and really can’t disclose this.”

Xu Huo expressed understanding, “Have you ever used auxiliary props?”

Wei Xiaoyi remained silent.

“Looks like you have,” Xu Huo glanced back at her, “Any results?”

Wei Xiaoyi nodded. In fact, if there had been results, she wouldn’t have had no progress since the initial signs of Evolution.

Xu Huo first encountered the Spatial Ray thanks to Bai Kou’s auxiliary prop.

“It’s okay, just try a few more tis,” he said, then stopped ahead and spread his arms to push the spatial body just blocking the corridor.

Seeing him struggle, Wei Xiaoyi quickly asked, “Need my help?”

“Push here,” Xu Huo directed her.

“I can really feel the Spatial Barrier,” Wei Xiaoyi pressed against the air with both hands, though invisible, feeling a wall-like object underneath her palms.

“Don’t move recklessly,” Xu Huo cautioned, “There’s a sharp object ford by rays nearby; be careful not to get hurt.”

Wei Xiaoyi quickly restrained her smile.
