The appearance of the black crescent is unpredictable. Initially, they may start as a thin seam, but in the blink of an eye, they can transform into a sphere. They are not physical objects but irregular gaps between two spaces, so if they suddenly appear near a person, it’s extrely unlikely they can avoid them.
Two players disappeared into the black space gaps right on the spot, and neither these gaps nor the chaotic spatial forces are sothing these players can handle. Seeing that it would be difficult to get out, the player with missing ear imdiately turned around, saying, "Follow him!"
He was referring to Xu Huo.
It’s impossible for soone to knowingly rush into a dead-end road; Xu Huo must have had so gains entering the city center several tis. Since he could find a safe route, following him could not only ensure their safety but might even bring so benefits!
The players were optimistic, but when they wanted to turn back to find Xu Huo, they found he had already gone far.
"Keep up! Don’t let him get away!" the player with missing ear shouted again.
So the remaining players imdiately turned around.
Although the areas marked by the Water Rubik’s Cube enter a "calm period" after chaos, this doesn’t an the route is completely safe. The path made by the Water Rubik’s Cube resembles forcing a passage through a swamp-like space, where spatial barriers and spatial ray blades or other high-intensity spatial forces squeezed aside would regroup, though this process creates a relatively stable path.
Xu Huo’s speed was already fast, but he struggled to keep up with the recovery speed of the spatial passage. After narrowly dodging a space body crashing like an iceberg, the path ahead was blocked again, and ti forces, which hadn’t appeared before, suddenly erged.
Feeling the ti force swiftly approaching, he imdiately withdrew from the area and maximized the manipulation of ti forces in space, hoping they would affect each other... Nevertheless, the ti forces penetrated the entire space, with only minor influence when encountering spatial bodies close to the ground, but no significant changes.
Although space-ti items and instrunts have incompatible characteristics, spatial forces and ti forces in relatively stable conditions rarely show mutual effects. For instance, when Evolvers manipulate spatial forces for attack and defense, the ti force within space doesn’t affect them. Similarly, when Evolvers trigger ti forces in another space, they don’t feel much change when ti forces penetrate space barriers, as if ti forces pass through natural gaps in space.
Only in such extrely chaotic and highly concentrated space-ti forces conditions can their mutual influences be observed, but this isn’t due to inherent connections. Instead, when forces reach a certain level, they start affecting other objects, like how Evolvers can influence space-ti forces after evolution, and Psychic Evolvers can influence reality with psychic power.
The ti force in the city center isn’t like the solid water flow dispersed from the Water Rubik’s Cube, so even if influenced by spatial forces, its range doesn’t expand.
Xu Huo successfully avoided it.
Due to his pause and retreat, players behind him caught up, but they weren’t fortunate. Ti force didn’t appear alone; after the first ti force fell, it was followed by a second and third, ceaselessly.
Even players who couldn’t avoid spatial forces definitely wouldn’t evade ti force. In the blink of an eye, half of the players surrounding Xu Huo were killed.
Watching the props they carried fall to the ground, the veins on the foreheads of the remaining players throbbed as they shouted at Xu Huo, "Get us out quickly!"
Xu Huo had no ti to talk to them because the path created by the Water Rubik’s Cube was now completely closed off ahead. There might be so small gaps inside, but it wasn’t worth the risk, so he planned to turn back.
The other players could only follow behind him, but the spatial force changed too rapidly. Two couldn’t keep up and were blocked by the erging spatial barrier!
"Help us!" the two shouted to the players with missing ears.
However, those players didn’t even glance back at them.
"If we can’t live, neither can you!" One player took out all his spatial artifact, instrunts, and interference devices, but unfortunately, these things almost entered a dormant state under space-ti force influence, so he pulled out his lee weapon and furiously hacked at the spatial barrier.
The spatial forces around were indeed affected, but the range was very limited. Even a small gap just broken open would be covered again by other spatial forces, rendering it almost useless.
"Help ! Help ..." The player’s voice was muffled by the approaching spatial body.
Xu Huo was already nearing the edge of the city center, yet suddenly, a spatial passage appeared ahead. He realized it was a spatial passage only after entering it, but it was too late to get out—within a step, he had changed places.
In sight was a dim room, with all corners sealed, and only a round hole in the ceiling let light through, shining on a suspended object in the center of the room.
It was several fingertip-sized cubes with tallic sheen, yet they seed to be flowing.
This scene resembled the original state of the Water Rubik’s Cube described by municipal governnt players. He instinctively glanced around, and the next second, one cube hit him with a speed he couldn’t resist!
There was no sensation of contact with a hard object, but suddenly, it felt like so force was streaming from his chest to his limbs.
Not a violent force, yet it washed through his body, causing a brief ntal pause. When he regained clarity, a hand suddenly pressed on his shoulder.
Instinct wanted him to throw whoever was holding him, but he realized his evolution-granted physical strength had vanished.
Turning back, he saw the face of soone with oily sheen coming close, "Young Master Xu, place your bets quickly, we’re all waiting!"
Xu Huo was at a gambling table.
Judging by the surroundings, this wasn’t a legal casino allowed by regional laws but an illicit venue, filled with various gamblers in high spirits, all flushed and excited. Many were fixing their eyes on Xu Huo, curious and eager, urging him with their gaze.
"Young Master Xu, trade hand for hand, but your hand is precious; I’ll trade five hands for yours, how about it, do you bet or not?"
