[Oh Master Dante~!,] a disturbingly sweet voice that caused Zhen Liu's skin to crawl called out. [I'm ready to assist~!]

Zhen Liu didn't even say anything to Blazejudicator once they both heard this voice call out.
He just allowed the silence and surging [Chaos] to do the speaking for him.
Well, for a couple of seconds at least.
'And this is why we never express confidence in victory until soone's body is in the ground. Now let's, go deal with whatever bullshit this leads to.'
...Wait a minute, what happened?...
[What's the matter, swordmaster?! Too afraid of breaking your last toy?!] Slavina howled with laughter as she swung around a heavy flail [Taboo] that was originally sourced from an armadillo-like kaijin.
'This psychotic weed is getting on my last nerve...'Lythero ntally griped as he used his [Astra] to deflect the attack, yet decided not to follow up with the other sword in his hand.
After losing Master Coyote's [Trickster's Fang Pack Kukri], Lythero had begun to fight in a significantly more defensive manner than before.
This defensive maneuvering wasn't just because he was being forced to wield Master Tortoise's [Black Iron Slab], rather, it was because this was his final sword.
Lythero had already lost five of his masters' swords during his confrontation with Duke Diamoro in the [City of Mirrors], and he had lost Matter Coyote's blade due to a miscalculation against these weird ass enemy kaijin.
As such, he was trying his absolute damndest to not lose the legacy of his masters. At least, not until he jamd it into Duke Diamoro 's skull.
But alas, life had different plans, and war was an unpredictable bitch.
Correction, Slavina was an unpredictable bitch.
[Well, if you're not going to act like a turtle this whole ti, then why don't I just treat you like one?!]
With her hands pointed towards the ground, Slavina released a surge of vines that burrowed underneath it and towards Lythero's direction.
^Shit!^
In the past few monts of fighting Slavina, Lythero had been attacked by vine controlled spears, swords, axes, iron balls and weird mushroom-shaped hamrs.
As such, Lythero couldn't help but be a little freaked over what else this psychotic bitch of a weed was going to throw at him.
Crack!
^Oh, balls.^
Shortly after Lythero took on a stance ant to block or counter at a mont's notice, Slavina launched an attack that was nearly impossible to do either.
The ground broke apart as a giant maw akin to a crocodile's mouth suddenly began to snap down on Lythero and threaten to turn him into minceat.
Thankfully, he wasn't stupid enough to let himself beco a free al.
Faster than a cobra's bite, Lythero spread his arms and proceeded to use the [Black Iron Slab] and his [Astra] copy to push back against the crushing maw.
If this maw was a normal [Astra], it would've been smashed into pieces. Unfortunately, because it was a [Taboo] that was empowered by a kaijin, these jaws of death were way tougher than Lythero had anticipated.
In other words, the young swordsman was stuck with his blades akimbo and arms spread wide open.
Realizing the situation her opponent was now in, Slavina let out a sinister chuckle.
[D'awww! It looks like you're now too tied up to keep playing with . Too bad, so sad,] the sadistic flower kaijin noted as Lythero did his best to push back against her jaws of death. [Looks like I'm just going to have to find soone else to play with.]
^W-wait!^
Unfortunately for Lythero, Slavina wasn't going to listen to a single word he had to say to her.
After all, there was sothing more fun that deserved her attention.
'Shit, shit, shit!,' Lythero ntally cursed. 'How the hell am I supposed to escape this?!'
Technically speaking, Lythero did have a way to escape this predicant...he just didn't want to think about making that sort of sacrifice quite yet.
'Co on damnit! There has to be another way...'
But alas, Lythero may soon have no choice. Because as he did his best to push against the maw of death, a very quiet cracking could be heard coming from his blades.
Thankfully, help was on its way.
And it ca in the form of a strange warrior made of bronze...
...Now back to the present...
'Doll Twins, switch targets!'
[On it!]
[Right behind you, CD!]
After their initial surprise attack had failed, Corpse Doll and Porcelain Doll opted to stay on assignnt with Zhen Liu and attempt to assist when the opportunity presented itself.
They weren't fast enough to catch up with Dante during the subsequent chase, but they were more than ready to intervene when an enemy Kaijin rolled up.
[Fist of Putrefaction!]
[Fist of Purification!]
[Oh my!]
Flanking from the left and right, Corpse Doll and Porcelain Doll prepared to deliver a healthy dose of conflicting energies into Slavina's plant-like body.
Unfortunately, their attacks didn't get a chance to land.
[Sorry kiddos, but now is the ti for the grown-ups to have their fun!]
Before the twin proto-kaijin could get close enough for their combo attack to even make contact, Slavina proceeded to manifest several thorn covered whips that she used to knock away the charging duo.
[Bah!]
[PD!]
Thankfully, they managed to recover in ti in the air before they were knocked too far away.
While all this was happening, though, Zhen Liu attempted to at least lob off a limb from Dante's body in order to cripple the bastard.
As luck would have it, though, Dante's current [Stigma] was loaded with defense chanisms that prevented such action.
In this case, the mont Zhen Liu attempted to chop off Dante's arm, a strange foam-like armor manifested and prevented him from catching purchase. Not only that, but Obsidious had apparently devoured the [Core] of a skunk-like kaijin beforehand and used it's natural stink abilities to temporarily stun Zhen Liu.
[BLEH!]
This gave Dante just enough room and ti to et up with Slavina in the air.
[Apologies for taking so long, my lord,] Slavina said with strangley slavish devotion in her voice. [The other lord's allies proved themself to be annoyingly persistent.]
[It's no matter, Slavina,] Dante assured his loyal (ob/sub)ject. [Now, are you ready to show this contender what we can do?]
[Yes!]
'SHIT!'
A feeling of dread began to crawl up Zhen Liu's spine as he felt the telltale sign of surging [Chaos] surrounding Dante and Slavina. Knowing full well the consequences of inaction, Zhen Liu charged forward once more with the aim of preventing the worst from happening.
Alas, he was too slow.
[OOOOH! NOW THIS IS A NEW FEELING!]
[Damnit!]
By the ti Zhen Liu got close enough to swing his glaive in Dante's direction, the bastard had finished transforming Slavina into yet another weird looking [Taboo].
In the sa Obsidious had turned into a weird assortnt of weapons that vaguely resembled a chanical rat king, Slavina had transford into a series of knotted plants that covered Dante in a series of weapons.
However, the most prominent feature were pair of cat o' nine tails that were absolutely lousy in thorns and dripping with poison.
Zhen Liu could tell on an instinctual level, though, that this was just the start of a whole new arsenal of bullshit.
[I see, I see! Every Kaijin has their own definition of what a Taboo can be,] Dante exclaid with delight as he whipped around the bundle of vines in order to flex his new power. [It feels very different in comparison to coating my Astra in...wait...]
Enamored by a sudden idea, Dante manifested his [Astra], a cruel looking bullwhip, and held it in his dominant hand.
The mont he did, though, sothing...odd happened.
[Bahahaha! I was right!]
[Oh...balls.]
To Dante's delight and Zhen Liu's distaste, the forr's [Astra] and [Taboo] had begun to rge with one another and transform into sothing that was a greater than the sum of its parts.
That being said, having the bullwhip-like [Astra] combine with the cat o' nine tails [Taboo] and turn into a giant serpentine dragon made of woven vines and roots was a fairly visually striking way of showcasing this aforntioned quality.
And it was a good thing that Zhen Liu had his [Stigma] and [Regalia] on, otherwise his expression would've exposed his inner feelings right now.
And they weren't good.

'Thats what happens when you combine an [Astra] with [Taboo]?!
[Apparently.]
[Shit.]

New weapon in hand that wasn't quite a [Taboo] or an [Astra], Dante directed an even more crazed look in Zhen Liu's direction.
'What the hell?'
In that mont, Zhen Liu couldn't help but notice that Dante felt less...[Real].
[Now this...this is a weapon worthy of a true Kaijin Lord,] Dante declared, his voice laced with even more [Chaos] than before. [And I'm going to use it to rip you into pieces!]
