Earlier that day, around the ti Hurricroak agreed to keep spying on Zhen Wang and Zhen Li...
"Hmmm," Zhen Liu humd as he scratched his chin in thought, "alright...fuck it."
[Milord?]
Zhen Liu took off the kaijin accessories containing Nepherage and Frosttusk, and imdiately summoned the two of them before him.
"Can you two et up with Hurricroak and help establish an escape plan in case shit goes sideways?," Zhen Liu instructed the kaijin.
"Huh? Why?"
"Don’t...trust...her?"
While the two kaijin would be happy to oblige their lord, they found it a touch odd that he would send them along to help, since Hurricroak was a rather competent kaijin, minus so personality quirks.
"It’s nothing like that," Zhen Liu dismissed with a wave of his hand, "it’s just...I am getting this feeling in my stomach that there’s going to be so incredibly annoying revelation in regards to these main branch guys, and I’d be more at peace if y’all went to go help out Hurricroak, understand?"
"Ahh...okay...then...."
"Understandable, milord."
"Cool...now I suggest y’all use your humans disgusies to go and-"
"Director."
"Huh?"
Just as Zhen Liu was about to give additional instructions to his two main kaijin, one of the proto-kaiijin decided to summon themselves from "carry mode", by flying out of his pocket as a ball of light.
The ball of light quickly transford into Razor Maiden, kneeling on one knee and bowing her head.
"Huh? Razor Maiden?"
"Director," she repeated, "this one requests to tag along on this mission. I think it’ll be good for my developnt."
"Oh...uh...okay then, sure," Zhen Liu agreed, mildly blind sided. He also wasn’t expecting her to call him, "director".
"Just make sure to maintain human disguises, shrink if you can or have to."
"Understood!"

At the tavern, around the ti before Nepherage, Frosttusk, Hurricroak decided to scare the shit out of Zhen Li and after Zhen Liu t up with Bellona and Alicia...
Above their heads, and away from their line of sight, a small patch of ice was forming in a nearly circular shape.
[And smash!]

The portion of wall that had been iced over was shattered to pieces as a shrunken version of Hurricroak barreled through it, her body looking bear-ish. Following her was the shrunken versions of Frosttusk, who looked like a toy mammoth, and Nepherage...who looked like an actual action figure.
[I didn’t say this because we were busy, but I find it completely unfair that your mini-form looks this good.]

At this mont in ti, Razor Maiden was in her human disguise, looking like a foreign traveller with surprisingly good looks.
She could feel the gaze of several on-lookers in the bar staring at her, she wasn’t going to do anything about.
Who was she to deny the world her sharp visage?

What happened after Zhen Wang used [Tempest Slicer] and the kaijin had to bail.

The three kaijin felt the attack coming their way way sooner than they saw it and proceeded to escape as they were instructed.
Could they have tanked the it? Yes.
Could they have beaten the living snot out of Zhen Wang and Zhen Li and disappear into the night like a trio of murderous gremlins? Also yes.
However, because it was the will of their lord, they left the two main branch n alone.
[Was the slide design necessary?]

As the three of them rocketed out of their escape tunnel slide, the three of them landed in the travel satchel of one Razor Maiden, who was pretending to be a traveler from a foreign land.
Just in ti too, as the human disguised kaijin had just finished her drink, a courtesy of the bartender.
She was going to give her thanks to the bartender, but he had understandably left the bar and checked upstairs when the explosion of aether occured.
As did multiple patrons in the bar, who all proceeded to crowd the stairway leading up to the room in a confused frenzy.
"What was that?!"
"Did soone start another bar fight?"
"Let’s go check it out."
"Why is there so much ice here?! We’re in a desert!"
With everyone sufficiently distracted by an incident of the kaijins’making, Razor picked up the bag containing her comrades and made her way out of the building and back onto the city streets.
[Should we head straight back?]

At a convenient alleyway, in went a single blonde haired woman with sharp features...out ca her accompanied by a purple haired woman with a mischievous face, a heroic looking woman with a half shaved head and a giant man with a braided beard.
[Ya know, I think this is the first ti we’ve used our humans disguises since we got them,] Hurricroak pointed out as she straighted out her new "clothes".
[I...huh.]
[Think she’s...right...]
[That’s all well and good, but what we should probably head back now,] Razor said to the trio to bring attention back to the issue at hand, [our lord is expecting us to co back safe and in one piece.]
[That’s true, so let’s -]
[Now hold on a minute,] Hurricroak interjected, [I’ve been hanging around those main branch guys for a while and I can safely say that they’re surprisingly weak given their mission and elaborate spy bullshit.]
[Given,] Nepherage noted, [and...]
[Well... I’m not saying I can totally find where those other spies are...but I can totally locate where those other spies are,] Hurricroak answered, [we could be a bit more...proactive.]
