’Alright, just a little more power...and there!,’ Jinju Ren told herself as she finally felt the adhoc array she made finally subside in activity. ’Damn! This thing feels like I’m holding a live explosive...let’s hope it’s worth it.’
Jinju Ren’s sword was literally humming with power as she did her best to keep the five different types of dragon force, her four familiars and her own, inside of the sword under control.
The feeling wasn’t pleasant in the least bit, but she could tell that the end result was going to be fantastic.
There was just one more thing to worry about.
’Alright, if I survive firing this attack, I am bugging the hell out of darling for a ans of stabilizing and improving this improvised array of mine. I’d ask father, but I’m pretty sure he never did this before...ah wait! I forgot to co up with a na.’

On a certain other world, it’s believed that nas carried power. If anybody learned the true na for anything they’d be able to control them as naturally one may breathe.
On Valresta though, nas carrying power is... partially true.
Aside from certain physical components, every art, formula and array requires a specific ntal state in order to fulfill their function, or at least achieve a desired result.
This is where the na cos in.
By focusing on the na, the mind of aether warriors naturally gravitate towards a ntal state that can help facilitate the usage of an art, array or formula.
With this in mind, it should be noted that during the process of creating one of the three previously ntioned aether related skills, the na is never given until the end.
The reason for this is due to that aforntioned ntal state.
The na, in this scenario, serves as a an of reminding the creator the exact feelings, thoughts and thods they used in the process of creating the art, array or formula in the first place.

’Alright, let’s see...’
Jinju Ren quickly looked over her blade, the way the dragon force coalesced around, and how the gems on her aforentioned sword glowed in a peculiar manner.
After that, and rembering sothing she read in one of the "pop culture section" of the Library of Nowhere, it took her all of five seconds to co up with a na for this new move of hers.
’I have no idea what "buster" actually ans, but it feels appropriate for this mont.’
Now that she had an idea, Jinju Ren readjusted her focus towards the clash of lightning beasts happening above her and the Dragon Thief Monkey itself.
From what she could see, the manifestations of lightning were just about to run their course, aning that it was now or never in regards to trying to finish this fight.
That stated, she knew damn well that this probably wasn’t gonna end it.
’On the plus side, this will definitely injure the bastard!’
As soon as that particular thought ran through her mind, both her’s and the monkey’s lightning manifestations had finished destroying each other. aning, now was the ti for her to try out her new trick.
"Eat this you monkey bastard, [Pentagonal Dragon Buster]!"
GROOOAAAA!
With a heavy swing of sword, Jinju Ren had fired off a giant coiling dragon shadow that was made of water, fire, lighting, stone and wind, directly at the Dragon Thief Monkey.
The power behind this attack was equal to a World class aether art, aning that it was as strong, if not stronger, than the [Echoing Frost] attack that the Zhen Clan picked up months ago.
This attack, this jury rigged aether art that Jinju Ren ca up with on the fly, was arguably the most powerful attack in her arsenal and she was pretty damn sure it would be impossible for this copycat.
"OOKIE!"
"WHAT THE FUCK?!"
Which is why she was beyond pissed when she saw that the Dragon Thief Monkey had done exactly that.
To be more precise, shortly after Jinju Ren had swung down her own sword and fired off an energetic dragon, the Dragon Thief Monkey had swung down its own stick while firing off its own energetic dragon.
Visually, the two attacks looked about the sa.
Beneath the surface though...the power behind each attack was different.
Different enough for outside interference to work, albeit, in a very precise way...
___What was happening off to the side...___
As the manifested lightning beasts continued to rip into each other, Zhen Liu saw how both his fiancee and the Dragon Thief Monkey were essentially performing the sa move, albeit, in very different ways.
Jinju Ren was straight up tapping into the power of four dragon-blooded familiars in a manner similar to how he taps into the power of the kaijin aka the Godoku gourd. Zhen Liu had only practiced it once in front of Jinju Ren at hers, Jin Fang’s and Rianna’s request not too long ago, so he was rather shocked she managed to co up with this on her own. Hell, not even he understood how that gourd of his really worked.
As for the Dragon Thief Monkey, it was...weird.
Unlike Jinju Ren, the Dragon Thief Monkey had no familiars, kaijin or allies to draw from in order to copy her new attack.
However, the Dragon Thief Monkey did have a huge reserve of aether and dragon force, due to being a high tiered beast, and the ability to copy other people’s aether.
Which is why, much to Zhen Liu’s horror, the Dragon Thief Monkey was copying Jinju Ren’s charge up process, by literally dividing up it’s own aether and dragon force into chunks and manipulating it in such a way that it produces pseudo sources of other types of aether and dragon force.
A lot of people made the observation that Zhen Liu was a one man army, because they didn’t know that he was actually tapping into the power of monstrous kaijin warriors. However, this Dragon Thief Monkey was literally acting like a one man army, due to its ability to fulfill basically any aether related role.
However...this was where the weakness of the Dragon Thief Monkey lied.
At least, that’s what Logos and Pathos suggested.

At this point in ti, Jinju Ren was about ready to curse worst than a sailor before falling into despair and death acceptance...until the appearance of multiple energy signatures interrupted her chain of thought.
"OOKIE?!"
Evidently, she wasn’t the only one to detect this change in energy as the Dragon Thief Monkey had suddenly chang run deanor as it sensed sothing that could cause him harm.
More specifically, he sensed four different signatures that could cause him harm.
What followed could best be described as...a rolling natural disaster.
[Echoing Frost!]
[Thunder Volley!]
[Sonic Death!]
Frosttusk, Hurricroak and Screamira appeared from the left, letting loose powerful aether arts that impacted the Dragon Thief Monkey’s false [Pentagonal Dragon Buster] and knocked it away from Jinju Ren’s [Pentagonal Dragon Buster].

At the exact sa ti, Zhen Yan appeared from the right and slamd into the Dragon Thief Monkey while wreathed in burning violet flas that radiated this sense of pride and dominance.
Evidently, Zhen Liu’s father had learned how to better tap into Blazejudicator’s fla in the short amount of ti that he spent flying from the fountain to here.
Whether that was a testant to his ability to grow, Blazejudicator’s ability to teach or sothing else entirely was up for debate.
What was known though was...well, let the man himself say it.
