Day Of Shooting...

Inside the caravan parked outside the shooting location, silence reigned.

The usual bustle of assistant directors running around.

Light boys adjusting equipnt.

Cara crews moving tracks.

Junior artists chatting.

All of it remained outside.

Inside the air-conditioned caravan, Karuppu sat alone.

"...."

A bottle of water rested on the table.

The script for 3 lay open beside him.

Today wasn't just another shooting day.

Today was the beginning of sothing different.

A different genre.

A different character.

A different challenge.

Unlike Siva from SMS.

Unlike Manohar from 13B.

Unlike the larger-than-life heroics of Aadhavan.

Ram was far more complicated.

Far more fragile.

And far more dangerous to portray incorrectly.

Closing his eyes, Karuppu leaned back against the chair.

Then ntally called out.

"System."

Imdiately the familiar blue panel appeared before him.

Karuppu stared at the screen.

Then sighed.

"...."

The new restriction was annoying.

Very annoying.

Before Aadhavan released, talent points could simply be allocated freely.

Now things had changed.

Anything above seven required special progression.

To raise higher-tier skills now, he needed sacrifices.

Thirty points.

For a single increase.

Not only that.

Entire branches remained locked.

aning he couldn't brute-force growth anymore.

The system was forcing him to actually develop.

Like so cruel teacher who had suddenly decided learning should involve effort.

"Tch."

He clicked his tongue.

"No wonder the points are piling up."

Twenty-five points.

And none of them currently useful.

At least not in the way he wanted.

Still.

He didn't regret saving them.

His instincts told him a bigger opportunity would appear later.

Especially considering California.

VFX.

Future projects.

And the unknown branches still hidden within the system.

Just as he was about to dismiss the panel...

A notification appeared.

For a brief mont.

Golden letters.

Unlike the normal blue windows.

[NEW TASK AVAILABLE...

Attend the first day shooting of 3 as Ram.

Reward:

• Unlock Practice Room

Karuppu's eyes narrowed.

Now this was interesting. Very interesting.

Imdiately he opened the details.

[THOD ACTING SKILL BRANCH

[PRACTICE ROOM

[Current Allocation Capacity

Reward:

Karuppu sat upright.

This was huge. Absolutely huge.

Up until now, every acting improvent ca from experience.

Observation.

mory.

Natural talent.

Practice.

But this... This was entirely different.

The system was essentially giving him a way to live as the character.

To think like them. Feel like them.

Understand them.

Not imitate them. But to Beco them.

At least temporarily.

No wonder it remained locked until now.

If abused properly...

Or perhaps improperly...

It could beco terrifying.

His gaze shifted toward the script of 3.

Specifically toward Ram.

A boy deeply in love.

A husband.

A friend.

A man slowly losing control over his own mind.

Soone trapped between reality and illusion.

Soone who would eventually break the hearts of audiences.

The challenge alone made him excited.

For a mont he wondered.

What would it feel like to enter the Practice Room?

To actually see the world through Ram's eyes?

To experience his fears?

His loneliness? His love for Janani?

His descent?

The thought sent a small shiver through him.

Suddenly a knock sounded on the caravan door.

-Knock. -Knock.

-Knock....

The assistant director's voice followed.

"Karuppu sir!"

"We are ready!"

"The first shot is prepared!"

Outside, the entire crew waited.

The beginning of Zagaram Productions.

Aishwarya's debut.

Anirudh's first film.

And now...

The beginning of Ram.

Karuppu slowly stood up.

The system notification remained floating before him.

[Accept Task?

YES / NO.]

A grin slowly spread across his face.

"Like there's another option."

The mont he ntally pressed YES, the screen flashed brilliantly.

[TASK ACCEPTED

THOD ACTING BRANCH UNLOCKED

PRACTICE ROOM UNLOCKED.]

For a brief second, countless unfamiliar mories, emotions, and possibilities seed to stir within the system.

Waiting.

Ready.

Patient.

The journey of Ram had officially begun.

And sowhere deep inside the system, a new door quietly opened.

The mont Karuppu pressed YES, the white room trembled.

The floating blue windows shattered into countless particles of light.

His remaining talent points dropped.

[25 → 22]

Then another notification appeared.

[THOD ACTING SUB-BRANCH

Warning:

[Proceed?

YES / NO]

Karuppu read the warning from the system.

Especially the last part.

'Emotional bleed-over.'

That sounded dangerous.

Then again... What part of acting wasn't?

He pressed YES.

Imdiately darkness swallowed everything.

Not the comfortable darkness of sleep.

Not the darkness of a closed room.

This felt deeper.

Endless.

Like sinking beneath an ocean.

Then...

Light.

Karuppu opened his eyes.

Or rather...

Ram opened his eyes.

Because the mont consciousness returned, he realized sothing terrifying.

He couldn't control his body.

He was rely a passenger.

A witness.

Watching through Ram's eyes.

Feeling Ram's emotions.

Experiencing Ram's thoughts.

"...."

Yet unable to interfere.

At first it felt beautiful.

Janani.

Her smile. Her laughter.

The small monts.

The harmless argunts.

The teasing. The affection.

Every mory felt warm.

Real. Human.

Karuppu understood imdiately why Ram loved her so much.

Because even watching from inside his mind...

He found himself smiling.

Then the cracks began appearing.

Small things. Tiny things.

Things nobody else would notice.

A mood that lasted longer than it should.

An irritation.

A burst of energy.

Sleepless nights. Strange thoughts.

The sensation felt disturbing because Karuppu could feel Ram noticing them too.

Sothing wasn't right.

Yet he didn't understand what.

Neither did the people around him.

Ti accelerated.

Days.

Weeks.

Months.

Passing like a river.

Then ca the dog.

The mont appeared without warning.

One second Ram was already angry.

The next second rage exploded.

Pure. Uncontrolled. Violent.

Karuppu felt it all of them.

Not understood it.

Felt it.

The overwhelming emotional surge that drowned out logic.

The irrational fury.

The unbearable pressure inside the skull.

And then... It happened.

Silence.

"...."

A kick from Ram which made the dog flew and hit the wall.

The dog wasn't moving.

The room felt frozen.

The anger disappeared.

As quickly as it arrived.

Leaving only horror behind.

Karuppu felt Ram staring.

Unable to comprehend what he had done.

Unable to accept it.

His breathing beca uneven.

His hands trembled. His stomach twisted.

The guilt crashed into him like a tidal wave.

Not ordinary guilt. Crushing guilt.

The type that suffocates.

The type that doesn't allow breathing.

Then ca the crying.

Not quiet tears. Not sadness.

Complete collapse.

Ram sat there crying like a child.

Broken. Terrified. Ashad.

Begging nobody in particular for forgiveness.

Karuppu could feel every ounce of it.

And for the first ti...

He stopped viewing Ram as a character.

He started viewing him as a victim.

Ti moved again.

The secret remained hidden.

Jenani knew nothing.

Every smile from her beca another knife.

Every mont of happiness increased the guilt.

Every conversation felt heavier.

Every day beca harder.

Then the hallucinations arrived.

At first they were whispers.

Small. Harmless. Easy to dismiss.

Then louder.

Closer.

More frequent then before.

The voices never truly disappeared.

They waited. Watched.

Returned. Again and again.

Like parasites feeding on weakness.

Karuppu found the experience deeply unsettling.

Because the hallucinations didn't look fake.

Inside Ram's mind they felt real.

Completely real.

Real enough to believe.

Real enough to fear.

The descent continued.

Ram stopped trusting himself.

Stopped trusting his own thoughts.

Stopped trusting reality.

Then ca the mont.

The one that made Karuppu's chest tighten.

The hallucinations were stronger now.

More aggressive. More violent.

The pressure inside Ram's mind had beco unbearable.

The voices scread. The world blurred.

For one horrifying mont...

Ram actually moved toward the person he loved most.

Karuppu felt the terror.

As he tried to kill his own wife

His love of his life.

Because sowhere beneath the illness...

Ram knew what was happening.

He knew.

And that made it worse.

Then Senthil intervened.

Just in ti.

Stopping the tragedy before it happened.

The relief lasted only seconds.

Because the realization afterward was even worse.

Ram wasn't safe.

Jenani wasn't safe.

Nobody was safe if he reminded alive.

Not while he remained alive.

The hallucinations grew stronger.

The whispers beca commands.

The commands beca screams.

Kill her.... Kill her.... Kill her....

Or die.

Die.... Die.... Die....

The voices echoed endlessly.

Relentlessly.

Like hamrs striking the sa point again and again.

Karuppu could feel Ram's resistance.

The desperate struggle.

The refusal. The fear. The love.

Because despite everything...

Despite the illness... Despite the hallucinations...

Despite the suffering...

Ram loved Jenani.

More than himself. More than life itself.

Then ca the final night.

Senthil.

The friend trying to stop him.

Trying to help him. Trying to save him.

Ram attacked him.

Not from hatred. Not from anger.

Desperation. Pure desperation.

Because he had reached a terrible conclusion.

A conclusion no one should ever reach.

The voices wouldn't stop.

The danger wouldn't stop.

The illness wouldn't stop.

So only one thing remained.

Karuppu watched through tear-filled eyes as Ram sat beside the sleeping Jenani.

The room felt painfully quiet.

No dramatic music. No grand speech.

Only silence.

"...."

"...."

"...."

Jenani slept peacefully.

Completely unaware.

Trusting him.

Loving him.

Believing he would always protect her.

Ram gently wanted to touch her hair.

His hands shaking. His breathing uneven.

Tears falling uncontrollably.

Then ca the farewell.

Not spoken aloud.

Written.

Line by line. Word by word.

The final letter.

The final apology for leaving her like this.

The final act of love from a man who genuinely believed he was protecting the person he cared about most.

Karuppu felt sothing break inside him.

Because for twelve hours he hadn't watched Ram.

He had been Ram.

Experienced every fear.

Every guilt.

Every mont of confusion.

Every collapse.

Every desperate attempt to hold onto reality.

The illusion voices scread louder.

Kill her. Kill yourself.

Choose.... Choose.... Choose....

Yet even at the end...

The thing Karuppu rembered most wasn't the fear.

Or the hallucinations. Or the tragedy.

It was the love.

The heartbreaking realization that Ram never wanted to hurt Jenani.

Not once. Not ever.

Everything he did. Every terrible choice.

Every mistake. Every final decision.

Ca from a mind that was collapsing while desperately trying to protect the woman he loved.

The world around Karuppu slowly faded.

The mories dissolved.

The voices vanished.

The darkness returned.

And sowhere inside the Practice Room...

A notification appeared.

[THOD ACTING SESSION COMPLETE

For the first ti since entering the Practice Room...

And why changing the ending would have destroyed its soul.

Because Ram was never the villain.

He was a tragedy.

And now Karuppu knew exactly how to play him.
