anwhile 3 Shooting Set...

The first day of shooting continued long after the scene where Ram nearly attacked Janani.

Nobody complained. Nobody checked the ti.

Because the atmosphere on set had beco unusually focused.

Everyone could feel that they were filming sothing special.

Not comrcial.

Not mass.

Not sothing that relied on punch dialogues or heroic entrances.

This story lived and died through emotions.

And today those emotions were hitting harder than anyone expected.

The next setup was prepared on the apartnt balcony.

The lighting crew adjusted the moonlight effect.

The cara track was laid.

The city lights glittered in the background.

A perfect location for two friends having one of the most important conversations of their lives.

Soon the cara rolled.

Ram sat alone on the balcony floor.

His hair disheveled.

Eyes swollen.

Face exhausted.

The illusion of sleep deprivation and ntal collapse had beco disturbingly believable.

Nearby sat Senthil.

His arm still supported by the sling.

His face carrying worry.

The kind of worry only a best friend could have.

"ACTION."

Several monts passed in silence.

"...."

"...."

"...."

Neither man spoke.

The silence itself felt painful.

Then Ram finally broke. His voice cracked.

Not dramatically. Not loudly.

Just enough.

"I can't do this anymore."

Senthil imdiately turned toward him.

Ram continued staring at the darkness.

His eyes hollow. His expression defeated.

"I'm going to kill myself."

The words hung heavily in the air.

Behind Ram stood one of the hallucination actors.

An old man dressed like a priest.

In post-production he would appear as one of Ram's hallucinations.

But even now his presence felt unsettling not by his acting the way Ram reacted to it.

The old man smiled.

A calm. Gentle.

Terrifying smile. Then softly whispered.

"Good."

"Die."

The words weren't directed at the audience.

Only at Ram.

Senthil imdiately snapped.

"Stop talking like you've gone mad!"

The sentence escaped him before he realized it.

Imdiately regret appeared on his face.

"...."

Ram slowly smiled.

A bitter smile. A broken smile.

The smile of soone who had already accepted the answer.

"Mad?"

He laughed softly.

The sound carried no humor.

"I am mad."

The line landed like a punch.

Because Karuppu didn't perform it.

He spoke it like soone finally admitting a truth they had been hiding.

Several crew mbers later admitted that was the mont they got goosebumps.

Senthil imdiately apologized.

His eyes turning red.

"No."

"I didn't an that."

He moved closer.

Like a brother. Like family.

"I'll stay."

"We'll fix this."

"You'll get better."

Ram didn't answer.

Because sowhere deep inside...

"...."

He no longer believed it.

"CUT."

Aishwarya smiled seeing today seems to be her day.

Perfect.

Exactly what she wanted.

The shooting moved quickly to the next setup.

This ti Ram's parents.

The scene where Ram asks his father to transfer his company shares.

On paper the dialogue looked simple.

Almost ordinary.

Yet everyone who knew the story understood the real aning.

Prabhu, playing Ram's father, sat opposite him.

The scene began.

"Transfer my shares."

His father frowned.

"What happened?"

Ram avoided eye contact.

"Put everything in Janani's na."

The father looked confused.

Concerned.

"Why?"

Ram paused. Then quietly replied.

"It's a matter of life."

The line sounded strange.

Odd.

Almost exaggerated.

The father eventually agreed.

Thinking his son was rely facing so mood off.

Before signing the docunts, he jokingly warned him.

"Don't co to every ti saying it's a life matter."

Several crew mbers knew what was coming.

And because of that the line beca heartbreaking.

Ram smiled. A tired smile.

The smile of a man who already knew the ending.

"I won't."

Prabhu later admitted that the delivery genuinely unsettled him.

Because it felt less like acting.

And more like a goodbye.

The scene ended.

Then ca the car sequence.

The emotional bridge leading toward the climax.

Senthil drove. And Ram sat beside him.

The atmosphere felt wrong from the beginning.

Like a storm approaching.

Ram quietly asked Senthil to go ho.

Senthil refused imdiately.

"No."

"I'm staying."

Sothing in Ram's eyes made him uneasy.

Before Senthil could continue—

THUD.

Ram struck him.

Senthil's head hit the steering wheel.

The sound echoed through the set.

His body slumped.

Unconscious.

Then ca the mont Aishwarya wanted most.

Ram's apology.

Not to the audience. Not to the world.

To his friend.

Karuppu gently held Senthil's shoulder.

His voice barely above a whisper.

"I'm sorry da."

The words trembled.

"You stayed."

"When nobody else did."

A pause.

"You're my best friend."

Another pause.

"I'll finish this."

His eyes filled with tears.

"I can't do this anymore."

Silence.

Even after the cut.

The crew worked in silence.

Then ca the final setup of the day.

The bedroom scene.

Aishwarya personally approached Karuppu before shooting.

"This is important."

He listened carefully how she want's to portray.

"When Ram enters the room..."

She pointed toward the bed.

"Don't touch Janani."

Karuppu nodded his head.

"...."

Aishwarya continued to explain.

"To him she's precious."

"Like glass."

"Like sothing he'll break if he touches."

The explanation imdiately clicked.

The cara rolled.

Janani slept peacefully at the bed.

"...."

Ram entered the bedroom. Slowly and carefully.

Almost afraid of making noise.

The mont he saw her... Everything collapsed.

He knelt beside the bed.

And began crying.

Not loudly. Not dramatically.

The kind of crying people desperately try to hide.

The kind that hurts more because it remains silent.

His hands folded together.

A prayer.

An apology.

A farewell.

"Forgive ."

The words barely escaped.

"I can't stay."

His hand slowly rose.

Wanting to touch her.

Wanting to feel her one last ti.

Then stopped.

Afraid.

As though touching her would sohow destroy her.

Instead his hand hovered above her hair.

Just centiters away.

Never making contact.

Several people behind the monitor suddenly beca emotional.

Because the gesture felt more intimate than any hug.

Then Ram leaned closer.

Taking in her scent.

Trying to morize it. Trying to carry it with him.

One final mory.

Then the hallucinations appeared.

The illusion actors approached from the shadows.

Whispering.

Circling.

Feeding the darkness.

"Kill her."

"Kill her."

"Do it."

The whispers grew louder.

Ram imdiately backed away.

Terrified.

Not of Janani. Of himself.

The whispers continued to ring in his ears.

"If not her..."

"Then kill yourself."

The voices surrounded him.

Ram panicked if he stayed even a second here he might do sothing which he might regret.

Turned.

And fled the room.

"CUT!"

The silence afterward was deafening.

Aishwarya looked at the monitor.

Then at Karuppu.

Then back at the monitor.

"One more."

Not because it was bad.

The opposite. It was excellent.

But she wanted options.

So they did another take.

Then another.

By the third take everyone knew.

They had it.

The emotional balance.

The fear. The helplessness.

Everything.

As the crew began resetting equipnt, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan remained seated nearby.

"...."

"...."

Neither spoke imdiately.

Finally Rajini broke the silence.

"He's good."

Kamal nodded his head drinking the water from a water bottle.

"Too good."

The Superstar glanced toward him.

That wasn't the response he expected.

Kamal's eyes remained fixed on Karuppu.

Who sat alone in a corner.

Still quiet. Still withdrawn.

Still carrying traces of Ram.

"He hasn't completely co back yet."

Rajini understood imdiately.

thod acting.

The dangerous kind.

The kind that could produce unforgettable performances.

And leave scars behind.

For several monts both legends watched the eighteen-year-old actor sitting silently between takes.

Then Kamal stood up.

"We're talking to him after pack-up."

Rajini rose too.

"Definitely."

Because what they had witnessed today was extraordinary.

But extraordinary talent without guidance could beco dangerous.

And neither legend intended to watch that happen without stepping in.

The final scene scheduled for the day was also one of the most emotionally exhausting scenes in the entire film.

By now the atmosphere around the set had beco unusually quiet.

Even the assistant directors who normally moved around constantly were speaking in low voices.

Everyone understood what they were about to shoot.

This wasn't an action scene.

This wasn't a dramatic confrontation.

This was the mont where Ram finally gave up.

The room set was prepared carefully.

A small table.

A chair.

Several scattered papers.

A dim yellow lamp.

The room felt lonely.

Like a prison built from silence.

Exactly how Aishwarya wanted it.

Karuppu took his position.

The makeup artists did a final touch-up.

The shadows beneath his eyes were deepened slightly.

His hair was made ssier.

The exhausted appearance completed.

Then everyone stepped away.

"ACTION."

Ram sat alone before the table.

The room was silent.

"...."

"...."

"...."

No Janani. No Senthil.

Nobody. Just him.

And his thoughts.

Slowly he picked up the pen.

The paper trembled slightly beneath his hand.

Not because he was acting nervous.

Because Ram genuinely was.

The first line appeared.

"Janani..."

The mont the na was written, his eyes turned red.

For several seconds he simply stared at the paper.

As though thousands of words were trapped inside him.

Yet none of them felt enough.

Then he began writing.

"I love you."

The words looked simple.

Ordinary.

Yet every letter felt heavy.

"I wasted so much ti."

"I should have told you everything."

"I should have trusted you."

"I should have listened."

The pen stopped.

His breathing beca uneven.

"Everything is out of control now."

"I don't know how to stop it anymore."

A tear fell onto the paper.

Behind him, the hallucinations appeared once more.

The old priest.

The other shadowy figure.

Both standing just outside his vision.

Whispering.

"Kill her."

"Kill her."

"End it."

Ram clenched his eyes shut.

Trying to ignore them.

The whispers only grew louder.

"Kill her."

"Kill yourself."

"Choose."

The pen nearly snapped inside his fingers.

Desperately he waved his hand.

As though trying to physically push away the voices.

"Be quiet..."

His voice cracked.

"Please..."

The hallucinations only laughed.

Then Ram resud writing.

"Forgive ."

"Forgive for leaving."

"Forgive for not being strong enough."

His handwriting beca increasingly ssy.

As though his emotions were breaking through the words themselves.

"Please take care of Senthil."

"He will bla himself."

"Don't let him."

"None of this is his fault."

Then ca another apology.

And another. And another.

The paper slowly filled with variations of the sa word.

"Sorry."

"Sorry."

"Sorry."

"Sorry."

Several crew mbers found themselves looking away.

Because the scene felt painfully real.

Behind Ram, the hallucinations beca more aggressive.

"Kill her."

"Kill her."

"KILL HER."

Suddenly Ram slamd the pen down.

"SHUT UP!"

The outburst echoed through the room.

For a brief mont silence returned.

Then the whispers resud.

Even louder. Even crueler.

Ram's eyes landed on the knife.

Slowly.

Very slowly.

He picked it up.

The entire set held its breath.

This was the most important scene.

His hand trembled violently.

The knife moved toward his neck.

Then stopped.

His entire body shook as his hand trembled.

Fear. Pure fear.

Not fear of dying.

Fear of actually doing it.

The knife lowered.

Fell onto the table.

Ram buried his face in his hands.

Then the hallucinations scread again.

"KILL HER!"

"KILL HER!"

"KILL HER!"

Ram snapped.

With both hands he grabbed the knife once more.

The blade pressed against his throat.

His hands shook uncontrollably.

Tears stread down his face.

His breathing beca ragged.

His entire body seed trapped between survival instinct and despair.

And then—The motion ca.

Just enough for the cara.

Just enough to sell the illusion.

"CUT!"

The word exploded across the set.

Imdiately Aishwarya stood up.

The tension that had built throughout the scene finally broke.

For a mont nobody moved.

Then the entire crew erupted.

Applause.

Cheers.

Whistles.

Relieved laughter.

Aishwarya herself walked straight toward Karuppu.

Without hesitation.

And pulled him into a hug.

"You did it."

Her voice carried genuine emotion.

Months.

Months of writing.

Planning.

Pitching.

Fighting producers.

Protecting the original ending.

And finally seeing Ram co alive.

"You actually did it."

Karuppu let out a long breath.

-Sigh!

"...."

The kind of breath soone releases after carrying a mountain on their shoulders.

Then sothing amusing happened.

Almost instantly.

The gloomy Ram disappeared.

The haunted expression vanished.

The hollow eyes returned to normal.

The defeated posture straightened.

And suddenly—Karuppu grinned.

"...."

A completely different person.

"Can sobody please feed ?"

The crew burst into laughter.

"I've been dying for three scenes continuously."

More laughter.

"At least let die after dinner."

Even the cara operators were laughing now.

The emotional tension that had suffocated the set monts ago completely evaporated.

Nearby, Rajinikanth watched the transformation.

One second Ram.

The next second Karuppu.

The Superstar chuckled hearing him.

-Chuckle!

"That's more like him."

Kamal however remained thoughtful.

Watching carefully.

Analyzing.

The transition back had been fast.

Faster than he expected.

A good sign.

But still...

The intensity of what he had witnessed today wasn't sothing he intended to ignore.

As pack-up preparations began, Kamal looked toward Rajinikanth.

"We're still having that conversation."

Rajini nodded imdiately.

-Nod!

"Definitely."

Because the performance they had witnessed today was extraordinary.

Not rely for an eighteen-year-old.

Not rely for a newcor.

But for any actor.

And that was exactly why the two veterans felt responsible for guiding him.

Before talent beca obsession.

Before imrsion beca addiction.

Before Charecters like Ram stopped being a character...

And started becoming a habit.
