A few minutes later, Kamuro Masumi arrived at the scene as fast as she could.

Kamuro looked at the sowhat dazed Sakayanagi Arisu, then at Katsuragi Keima lying on the ground nearby, and froze for a mont. Sakayanagi had just called her, saying she had been bumped into and that the situation was hard to explain, urging her to co to the scene imdiately.

Kamuro opened her mouth slightly but didn't know what to say. She could only stare at the scene in disbelief. After several seconds of silence, she finally spoke:

"Sakayanagi... even if soone accidentally bumped into you, you didn't have to go this far, did you?"

"What are you saying? You make it sound like I've killed soone."

"I feel like you're exactly that type of person," Kamuro said, looking at the girl before her.

Despite her petite fra and cute appearance, her inner self was the complete opposite; she possessed a level of calculation far beyond others and was known for being vindictive. This was Kamuro's perception of Sakayanagi Arisu.

"But this really has nothing to do with ."

Sakayanagi tacitly accepted Kamuro's view of her character, but she refused to admit that Keima's condition was her doing.

"This person bumped into , and then he ended up like this."

"So, Sakayanagi, are you telling that soone bumped into you, and then he was the one who lost consciousness first?" Kamuro's brow twitched slightly.

"That is exactly the fact. Besides, even if I wanted to do sothing to him, I wouldn't be able to, would I?" Sakayanagi shook her head with a rare sense of helplessness.

"True enough... but then why did you call here?"

"I wanted to trouble you, Masumi-san, to help move him to that bench. It's not good to leave him lying on the ground, and it's not convenient for ."

As Sakayanagi spoke, she lightly tapped the ground with her cane. her physical condition certainly didn't support her performing such a task herself.

Kamuro let out a long sigh. She didn't want to get involved in such a troubleso matter, but since Sakayanagi held sothing against her, she could only nod in agreent.

"I understand."

Soon, Kamuro hoisted Keima up and settled him onto the nearby bench. Although he was a boy, Keima's weight was surprisingly light, which caught Kamuro off guard.

"Is this guy a first-year student? Masumi, check his terminal; the student ID on it will have his personal information."

Sakayanagi instructed Kamuro, who nodded and reached into the boy's pocket to find the terminal.

"Found it."

Kamuro's hand touched a cold, hard object, and she imdiately pulled it out. It was a handheld ga console.

"It seems he's a boy who's quite fond of gas," Sakayanagi said with a smile.

Kamuro frowned and reached in again. There was another handheld.

"..."

Sakayanagi and Kamuro exchanged a glance and fell into silence. Kamuro continued to rummage through Keima's pockets, eventually pulling out a pile of ga cartridges—many of which had titles that left much to the imagination.

"What is wrong with this guy?" Kamuro's cheeks turned slightly red.

anwhile, Sakayanagi noticed that Keima didn't look like he was in a coma or unconscious... he looked more like... he was asleep?

A few seconds later, Kamuro finally found Keima's student terminal.

"Katsuragi Keima. This guy's na is Katsuragi Keima, from Class D."

"Class D, huh."

Sakayanagi lightly stroked her chin with her free hand, a hint of playfulness appearing in the gaze she directed at Keima. She possessed an arrogant nature and wouldn't normally spare a glance for the lower classes.

However, ever since learning that Class D was the first to figure out the rules regarding the S-System, Sakayanagi had developed a slight interest in that class. Within Class D, there might exist soone capable of piquing her interest.

Could it be the person in front of her? The probability was likely low. Regardless, she might be able to use this person to find out things about Class D and locate that specific, special student.

"Ah! Kami-nii-sama is here!"

Just then, Elsie's voice rang out from nearby. She saw Keima lying on the bench and rushed over, shaking him vigorously.

"Kami-nii-sama! Wake up! Kami-nii-sama!!!"

"May I ask who you are?" Sakayanagi asked in a polite tone.

"Ah! You're Sakayanagi!"

When Elsie saw Sakayanagi, her eyes widened. She rembered that na. Sakayanagi Arisu was also one of the mission targets in this world.

"Oh? You know ?"

Sakayanagi studied the Elsie before her with curiosity; she hadn't t her before.

"Um... I-I've heard of you!" Elsie hurriedly made up an excuse. "Oh, sorry! I'm Elsie! This person is my Nii-sama, Katsuragi Keima. Pleased to et you!"

"I see. But 'Nii-sama' is a rather archaic way of addressing soone." Sakayanagi nodded, then shifted her gaze back to Keima. "Katsuragi-kun just... suddenly fainted. I had to ask my classmate to help move him to the bench, but we couldn't wake him up. Should we contact the dical staff?"

Sakayanagi did not ntion the part where the two had collided.

"Oh, I see! It's okay! I have a way!" Elsie said with a smile, then turned to Kamuro. "Kamuro-san, could I trouble you to give the handheld?"

"Huh? Oh..." Kamuro was stunned for a mont before handing over the console she had just retrieved.

Elsie placed the handheld in front of Keima, turned the volu up, and started a ga. The startup sound of a Galge instantly filled the air!

"That's the the song for 'That Ti I Confessed to a Girl in My Class Only to Discover She's a Demon Princess Who Must Have 99 Days of Intimate Contact with to Break a Curse'!"

Without even a half-second delay, the previously unconscious Keima suddenly snapped awake, bolting upright from the bench like a projectile.

"?!"

Sakayanagi was startled by this sudden, unheralded developnt; the hand gripping her cane couldn't help but tremble.

'What is the deal with this guy? Was he faking being unconscious? No, that's not it—he didn't look like he was faking. But then why... and what on earth was with that title?!'

For the first ti, Sakayanagi Arisu encountered a situation she simply could not understand.
