"Hey, World System. How many rit points would it cost to buy a cure for the Banished Arsenal Martial Physique?"
It’s a shot in the dark, and Ren knows it too.
He tried not to raise his expectations. The reason being that in the story, no aberrant martial physiques had ever been ’cured.’ Those who had them simply worked their way around the disadvantages they brought. There’s no real ’cure’ for things like this.
There’s one point in the story where sobody tried to ask the sa thing as Ren did to the World System. And Ren rembered the results being negative. It said that there’s no ’cure’ for the aberrant martial physique that person had.
But with so many rit points in hand and harboring so good luck, Ren hoped that things would be different for him and his clan. The aberrant martial physique of the one in the story was different from the one he has, so he thought that maybe things would be different.
Alas...
[In response to your inquiry, the World System expresses disappointnt for not being able to et your demands.]
[There is no known ’cure’ for the Banished Arsenal Martial Physique.]
[If there is, then the World System doesn’t have a record on it.]
[The World System will pay attention moving forward. If sobody discovers a way to cure the ’Banished Arsenal Martial Physique,’ the World System will take the initiative to inform you.]
...Ren got the sa reply as that one character did in the story.
To this, Ren could only sigh. He wasn’t truly surprised. He already knew that he was aiming high for this inquiry. There were no known cures for aberrant martial physique. Owners of them could only work their way around their disadvantages.
"I see. That’s alright. I understand. I’ll hold on to that, then."
[Rest assured, Anon. The World System will always be vigilant.]
Ren shook it off. Finding no cure to his cursed physique isn’t the end of the world. Didn’t he just create a miracle even though he’s bogged down with this?
This is nothing! He could continue climbing; it’s just a random inquiry anyway.
"Actually, World System, before you make the announcent and trigger the Honor Roll’s change, please change the na in the credits. I’d like to keep my information private."
"Instead of using my online na [Anon], use [REDACTED] instead when listing the creator’s na. That should be within my rights according to the Identity Protection Clause, right?"
[Yes, Anon. Replacing your information for the sake of protecting your identity and keeping it private is, indeed, included in the Identity Protection Clause.]
[The World System will replace [Anon] with [REDACTED] in the credited creator’s na of the Green Lotus Core Technique.]
[Rest assured, this will not take away your rewards or your rights as the true creator.]
"Aweso!"
Ren just applied the sa trick that the hero will use in the far future when he creates his own martial art and has the World System appraise it.
Although the World System isn’t dominated by humans, there are still ways to snatch information from it. It’s unlikely to happen to Ren since he’s under the Identity Protection Clause of the World System.
Having this kind of protection ans that the World System itself will watch over his identity and will take action to actively protect his identity.
He changed the credited na to [REDACTED] from [Anon] simply because he didn’t want his online persona to cause a lot of noise. Besides, even if he used his stage na, there were ways to connect it to his real identity.
Ren had read the canon story multiple tis. He knew all the bullshit so desperate people would use if they wanted to get their way. He has to protect himself; therefore, this step was crucial to that.
Sothing as simple as this ensures that the nasty ways of those ’hackers’ won’t be able to figure out his real identity, which also saves him a lot of trouble.
Moving on from this...
Ren already received the System Inventory. It works both in the VR world as well as the real world. Obviously, it could differentiate between real and virtual items, so Ren doesn’t have to think twice when he’s taking out an item.
1000 slots. It doesn’t sound like much, but in truth, this was more than he’d ever need, especially considering that a single slot could stack up the sa type of resources in one slot, up to 200 stacks. It doesn’t care about the weight or size. He could fit an entire skyscraper or a whole damn mountain in a single slot, and it’d work just fine.
Ti’s frozen inside the inventory. Hot and cold things will retain their temperature exactly the sa as before he placed them inside his inventory.
It’s also soul-bound, aning that it couldn’t be stolen from him through any ans. If he dies, his inventory goes with him. As for the items contained in it, he could always apply for a transfer ahead of ti in case he ets an unexpected end.
He could have it so that, upon his death, all the items stored in his inventory will be imdiately transferred to the World System, and he could na an inheritor for the things he left behind.
5 million rit points was honestly a huge bonus. Even though he can’t use it to cure his aberrant physique, the number of things he could do with it are still imnse. This kind of profit was sothing that even Inhuman Realm martial artists would be envious of.
Then, there’s the Martial Physique Seed—Green Lotus Version.
It’s an actual seed, in case you’re curious. It’s the size of a pearl, which shone bright erald, especially when held up against the light. It diffused a lush, gentle, and warm life force just by existing.
The mont he held it, Ren felt his chakra seed reacting strongly to it. He could feel its hunger and its desire to fuse with it imdiately.
As the na suggests, this is a seed for a martial physique. aning that by consuming and fusing with this seed, Ren could breed a new martial physique.
This isn’t sothing that Ren did not expect.
Although the World System deliberately did not expose it, he knew that in at least 75% of its simulations, the World System discovered that practicing the Green Lotus Core Technique would eventually give birth to a Forged Martial Physique.
That’s the only explanation for it. The World System won’t bestow him this martial physique seed for no reason. It had simulated the effects of the Green Lotus Core Technique 10 million tis. For it to deem that he’s worthy of receiving a physique seed, at least 75% of those simulations must result in the birth of a martial physique!
It couldn’t be any more legit with this!
And that’s just the minimum, too. Ren doesn’t know how likely it is for soone to forge a martial physique through this technique; at the sa ti, he also doesn’t know how long it’d take.
The only reason why it hasn’t included the information about the martial physique yet is because soone has to have it first. Even Ren, the creator of the technique, doesn’t have it yet, so it can’t be included. This information will most likely be added once soone successfully forges the martial physique. However long that takes.
Ren had no idea. This was sothing that he never thought about when creating this technique. All he wanted to do was to revolutionize a bit. That’s all.
With this seed in hand, it’s very likely that Ren would also be the first one to gain the Green Lotus Core Martial Physique. The seed was literally for this reason, so Ren supposed that the review would be updated soon.
As for what the Green Lotus Core Martial Physique does, it simply makes his chakra have more affinity and compatibility with life-based and neutral type attributes. More importantly, it raises the effects of the Green Lotus Core Technique’s effect by 300% on him.
This ant that, instead of only lasting for 24 hours before needing to be refreshed, Ren’s green lotus core chakra would last for 72 hours. The ’slow-healing’ effect of the green lotus core chakra will also be amplified and be thrice as strong for him.
Co to think of it, would that still be considered ’slow healing’?
Matter of fact, thinking about this so more, isn’t this ridiculous? The chances for the practitioners of this technique to forge this martial physique simply by practicing it are quite high, aren’t they?
And since this technique is so damn easy to learn and do and only takes up about 15 minutes of everybody’s ti every day...
And the likelihood of the World System highly advertising this technique, especially since it’s bound to show up in the Honor Roll soon...
Doesn’t that an that, eventually, 75% of the human population will soon be able to forge a martial physique of their own? And for free!?
"Holy shit!" Ren exclaid when he realized this. "Did I just beco a saint?"
