Chapter 1020: Chapter 910 Aaron’s Gift

After chatting with Dr. Yang, Joe Ga felt a bit more enlightened.

He didn’t try to persuade Nis to leave, because doing so wouldn’t just disappoint Nis, it would disappoint Karman, and it would disappoint everyone in Sangha Town.

Karman’s Witch dicine was the best way to ward off the Zika virus. As long as Nis and the child exercised a bit of caution, their safety was guaranteed.

Joe Ga spent three quiet days at the manor…

He accompanied Nis on walks, helped her tend to the vegetable garden…

When Nis got bored, she modified a few .22-caliber hunting rifles and took her and a few kids out for target practice…

Occasionally, if he was in the mood, he would even help bathe Dumbo the elephant, ensuring the “young master” didn’t sll so bad.

The people at P.B. knew their boss needed ti to rest, so unless it was urgent, they didn’t disturb him.

So, for these few days, Joe Ga’s life was peaceful yet fulfilling…

Until the base notified him that a cargo plane had landed and there were things he needed to check personally. Only then did he leave the warm manor life, driving with Karman to the base.

On the road, in relatively good spirits, Joe Ga rolled down the window and, looking at the scenery outside, smiled and said, “Dragon Gecko, I’m going to have a son. Don’t you think you should care a little about your own son too?”

Karman, who was driving, paused in surprise and replied, “You an Muto?”

Joe Ga nodded and said, “Of course, do you have another son?”

Karman’s weathered face broke into a cheerful smile and said, “Muto called . He really couldn’t adapt to university life in Italy; law was too difficult for him.

Devil Bird arranged for him to go to Greece, where he’s managing the villa and hotel for you.

That suits him well. He has his own life now…”

Joe Ga didn’t understand and said, “You were willing to risk your life to send Muto away from Africa back then.

Now everything seems to be resolved, but I feel like you care less about him than you used to?”

Karman nodded slightly and said, “Muto doesn’t need the care of an old man like anymore. He has his own life.

This is good. My mission is complete!”

Joe Ga heard this and exclaid, “Wow, fathers like you are rare.

Yesterday, I talked with Dr. Yang and gained new insights into the relationship between parents and children.

Now hearing what you said, I suddenly doubt myself…

Is Muto really your biological son?”

“No!”

“Huh?”

Joe Ga stared at Karman in astonishnt and disbelief. “Not your son?”

Karman glanced sideways at Joe Ga before looking straight ahead and said, “No!

I’ve never been married. Muto isn’t my biological son. His father is the Sentulu I told you about!

I left the Anteater not just because I was tired, but also because his mother found and asked to take care of him.

Her tribe didn’t want to keep Muto…

Sentulu saved my life, gave a reason to keep living. I owe him responsibility.

But sadly, I didn’t understand how to fulfill that responsibility. I thought a marriage and kids could bring Muto happiness, but tragedy kept repeating itself.

When I t him, I just wanted Muto to leave the place of his wife and child’s death, hoping a change of environnt could help him recover faster.

At the ti, I felt that apart from creating death, I was powerless to do anything else.”

Karman glanced again at the astonished Joe Ga and suddenly laughed. “Boss, you’re the second person who gives a sense of purpose in life, besides Sentulu.”

Joe Ga stared at Karman with wide eyes and said, “Muto isn’t your biological son!

FUCK, so why didn’t you find a woman?

Soone like you should have your own kids, so your story could carry on forever.”

Karman shrugged indifferently and said, “There was a ti when we didn’t even understand why we were alive, only knowing how to fight day in and day out in this land.

What’s the point of marriage?

Even if we had kids, what could soone like teach them?”

Joe Ga sat in silence…

Karman wasn’t wrong. If it were Joe Ga himself, he wouldn’t want to have children in a hopeless land either.

But now things were different!

Joe Ga didn’t imdiately try to convince Karman to find a woman; after all, for soone who claid to be an old man, he was only 48. He still had ti, but for now, his focus was entirely on Nis and the unborn baby…

Looking at Karman, who suddenly seed taller and filled with heroic spirit, Joe Ga smiled and said, “Brother, I’ve got newfound respect for you, really!

Muto is actually doing great, and that’s thanks to your education. So don’t keep thinking you’re only good for killing.

You should call him sotis, spend more ti interacting with him, and you’ll realize you’ve raised an outstanding person.

Maybe then you’ll have more confidence!”

Karman shook his head nonchalantly and said, “No need. Muto was always unhappy with around.

Now that his mother found him, staying away from might be better for him…”

Joe Ga instantly picked up on sothing hidden in Karman’s words and curiously asked, “Muto’s mother? How’s that possible?”

Karman replied indifferently, “Muto’s mother entrusted him to before going to France with her family.

I don’t know how she found Muto, or how she recognized him, but sohow she did…

Muto felt a bit uneasy about it, so he ca back specifically to see . I didn’t respond, and then Devil Bird arranged for him to go to Greece.”

Joe Ga, hearing this, shook his head helplessly and said, “Listening to this, I don’t even know if I should be happy for Muto.”

Karman drove into the base and parked, stepping out of the car and saying, “I don’t know either, so I just don’t think about it…”

Joe Ga wasn’t sure how he felt. Admiringly, he gave Karman a thumbs-up and said, “You always know how to keep your cool!”

As he finished speaking, he looked toward the base commander, Belic, who was jogging over, and waved to greet him…

Belic quickly reached Joe Ga, saluted, and said, “Boss, you need to check sothing out. This cargo plane flew in from South Africa, supposedly delivering goods for you, but the pilots refuse to get off the aircraft.

The aviation team is a bit nervous right now…”

Joe Ga sighed and said, “Don’t worry, I’ll go check it out…”

The three walked briskly and arrived at the end of the runway within minutes.

There stood a cargo plane marked with a South African shipping company logo. Dorian and Ayu, along with a group of Xiao Hei, had thoroughly surrounded the plane.

Seeing Joe Ga arrive, Dorian stepped up with a frown and said, “Boss, the pilots insist you personally sign for the goods…”

Joe Ga waved dismissively and said, “Relax, if you’re acting like this, of course people are scared.”

With that, Joe Ga walked to the front of the cockpit and waved to the pilots inside in greeting…

The pilots inside, seeing the “main subject” appear, seed to let out a sigh of relief. The two checked sothing on their computer and quickly opened the rear hatch of the aircraft.

Joe Ga gestured for everyone to stay calm and walked around to the rear of the plane to enter the cargo hold.

A white pilot, around fifty years old, approached Joe Ga. When the distance closed to about two ters, the pilot pulled out a photograph to confirm his identity before relaxing…

“Sir, your friend asked us to deliver these goods to you. Please verify and accept them…”

The pilot handed Joe Ga a crowbar, pointed at the military crates tied down on either side of the hold, then turned and walked back to the cockpit, locking the door behind him.

Joe Ga realized that Aaron had used a gray-market arms shipping route to send him sothing.

The plane and pilots were from a legitimate company, but what they were doing was side work, so there would be no official record of this flight.

‘Professor’ occasionally used similar channels to ship goods for P.B., often relying on Russia’s brazen shipping companies or small dostic firms in Seville.

As an arms dealer, Joe Ga could understand the pilots’ inner anxiety.

Ignoring the two pilots, he jamd the crowbar into one of the military crates and, with so effort, pried it open. He couldn’t help but marvel…

The crate contained South African-made ‘Raptor 2’ precision-guided missiles.

Aaron was clearly playing a sleight-of-hand trick, hiding a nuclear weapon among the missiles. Even those handling the shipnt didn’t realize how dangerous the cargo truly was.

But Aaron had gone all-out to pull off this ruse…

The early versions of ‘Raptor missiles’ were essentially bomb-like devices equipped with GPS navigation and wings for relatively accurate strikes.

The ‘Raptor 2,’ however, was powered, a proper air-to-ground missile.

This weapon relied on GPS inertial guidance TV guidance, with a striking accuracy of under 3 ters.

It asured 3.6 ters in length, with a wingspan extending to 3.7 ters after launch, weighed in at 1,200 kilograms, had a range of up to 120 kiloters, and could be launched from a maximum altitude of 10,000 ters.

Aaron had sent Joe Ga six ‘Raptor 2s,’ three of which carried 900-kilogram penetrator warheads and three with 1,000-kilogram fragntation warheads.

Scanning the crates, Joe Ga quickly identified the nuclear weapon disguised among the penetrator-equipped missiles, and he nodded in admiration.

No wonder Aaron had said he hadn’t had ti to remove it—modifying that nuclear weapon must have been a painstaking process. Who was Aaron planning to use this against?

After locating the critical item, Joe Ga signaled the logistics team to bring in hydraulic forklifts to transport the expensive missiles to the base’s warehouse.

‘Cobra,’ who had been watching curiously from the sidelines, perked up with excitent upon seeing the ‘Raptor 2s.’ He grabbed Joe Ga and said, “Boss, you finally splurged!”

Joe Ga forced a smile in the face of this money-burning maestro and his entourage of money-burning allies. “Ah, no big deal, didn’t cost that much…”

‘Cobra’ grinned at Joe Ga and pointed toward a distant hangar. “Boss, your F-14 Tomcat is parked over there…

That thing is ridiculously expensive to maintain. After testing it with ‘Archerfish,’ we haven’t moved it since.

It’s a trainer aircraft modified by Cubic Corporation. Its electronic systems and radar systems are extrely advanced.

These South African missiles should be compatible!

Now that you’re back, want to take it for a spin?

E team’s ‘Bullhorn’ found a rebel camp near Yamako. We could test fire a missile there.”

Joe Ga stared at ‘Cobra’ with an incredulous expression, “Just like that? So reckless?”

‘Cobra’ casually replied, “Why complicate things?”
