784: Chapter 714: Big Business 784: Chapter 714: Big Business Joe Galla hitched a ride with Swedish Prince Carl, following Said through the lawn crowded with people.

The gathering of princes and princesses was no joke, with Said, the fun-loving prince on an extensive leisure trip, constantly greeted by people coming up to say hello…

It was Joe’s first ti realizing just how many Emirates made up the United Arab Emirates, and each emirate had its share of princes and princesses…

Sharjah, Umm Al-Quwain, Ajman, Fujairah…

These emirates, whose nas Joe had never heard before, had given rise to a group of particularly affluent princes and princesses.

This gang’s showy way of chasing stars was very nouveau-riche, but Joe quite admired this approach because he liked it too, after all, who doesn’t harbor a bit of vanity…

So every ti he t soone, he would warmly invite them to consider this place ho and welcod them to throw parties anyti.

Carl, a royal who was poor in comparison, seed sowhat out of place here.

Watching Joe effortlessly work the room, Carl shook his head with a chuckle and said, “Hu Lang, you really are suited for business, because you’ve instantly found the people with the highest spending power in the world.”

Joe shrugged nonchalantly and said, “Too bad no one in my family is in the fashion industry, otherwise with all the princes and princesses here, just based on their spending power, they could sustain a ga-company worth hundreds of millions.”

While saying this, Joe clapped his hands in frustration and said, “Why don’t these guys like guns?

Planes and cannons would be just fine too…”

As Said led the two up the mansion’s steps, he nodded respectfully at a black female singer passing by on her way to the stage and said with a smile, “Hu Lang, there are people inside who really like planes and cannons, and if you can make friends with them, you might land so big deals.”

Curious, Joe asked, “Who?”

Said casually spread his hands and said, “Soone from the Nahyan family.

The SD rcenaries hired by the Emirates suffered heavy losses in Yen, and now the Shah’s people are pressing them to continue deploying troops…”

Upon hearing this, Joe nodded in sudden realization…

The wealthy tycoons from the Gulf had banded together to bully a poorer brother, only to get beaten miserably by these dirt-poor farrs who staved off hunger by chewing khat.

Their princely soldiers couldn’t handle tough battles, and going to fight was tantamount to marching to their doom.

Most could run back, but their equipnt was left behind.

The Houthi Ard Forces in Yen had been steadily ard by the Shah and the Emirates’ princely soldiers, far outclassing the Somali Pirates across the sea.

Last year, a civil war broke out in Yen, and the Houthi Ard Forces marched victoriously and chased away the Yeni president.

Now the Gulf Coalition, responding to the Yeni president’s plea for help, had been bombing Yen for almost a year, yet progress was minimal.

The Houthi Ard Forces were now launching attacks everywhere, harassing the airports and facilities near the Emirates and the Shah, keeping them on their toes.

What was worse, the local branch of Al-Qaeda in Yen declared a “holy war” against the Houthi Ard Forces, who share the sa extremist Shiite belief as the Syrian regi.

These groups were fighting the Houthi Ard Forces and taking advantage of the chaos to attack governnt bases, and they were growing stronger in the process.

The situation sounded ridiculously problematic, almost like dark humor.

Now Yen had beco a paradise for terrorists.

If the Houthi Ard Forces keep causing mayhem, they will eventually be designated a terrorist organization.

Joe was aware of what Said referred to as the SD rcenaries.

Perhaps the Emirates had little faith in their own princely soldiers, so when the war started last year, in addition to deploying their air force, they also gathered rcenaries from around the world.

However, they demanded such a large number, and to be honest, since the Emirates didn’t border Yen, they didn’t really take the fight there seriously.

So, they simply hired tens of thousands of rcenaries from SD, where Joe got his start, to fight in Yen, but within two months of their arrival, their forces were decimated.

This had happened only six months ago and beca a laughingstock in the rcenary world.

The fate of those SD rcenaries was particularly grim; they sought support from the coalition while being besieged and fleeing, but no one paid them any mind.

They returned to their holand in disgrace, wanting to settle their salaries with the Emiratis, only to be infuriated by the deductions.

These Middle Eastern big shots treated non-locals with disdain, which had by now beco widely known, and even the belligerent Tuareg people refused to take their business.

Following Said, Joe entered the mansion and discovered that all the influential figures were essentially in this place.

All those princes and princesses chasing stars around the stage outside were rely minor players; the real wealthy magnates were inside the mansion, mingling with the stars.

Said led Joe and Carl down a side corridor, took a detour through the intricate interior of the mansion, and brought them to a backstage-like area…

Joe truly experienced such a scene for the first ti, a group of female dancers huddled together in their underwear, waiting to be called into a room by a makeup artist to change clothes.

Seeing Said motioning to him, Joe cleared his throat, straightened his attire, and strode out, following a round behind the so-called backstage.

Joe didn’t know if it was intentional, but the won there indeed didn’t seem very fond of dressing up.

The male singers and other performing guests mixed among them appeared to be quite accustod to this situation.

Perhaps by association with the prince, Joe picked up many business cards along the way.

He might not have seen any undressed stars, but his vanity was certainly full to the brim.

After making a round inside, the three ran off to take pictures with so very famous singers, reminisced, and discussed the possibility of having a drink…

As a result, the agents of these top-tier stars were very unforgiving, and although they had smiles on their faces, they firmly rejected the excessive request of Saidi, the ‘unknown prince’.

Having been rebuffed twice, Joe Ga and Carl were about to ridicule Saidi, when they saw Hamandan erge from the next room with a handso Big Beard…

Their encounter at this venue was a bit awkward, but Joe Ga didn’t care about that.

According to his understanding, n who had frequented brothels together developed a strange sense of camaraderie…

Seeing that these two hadn’t succeeded either and weren’t any better off than him…

So Joe Ga laughed heartily and approached a bashful Hamandan for a hug, then peered into the room and saw a well-known actress inside.

Joe Ga gave a thumbs-up to express his admiration for Hamandan’s taste and then said with a laugh, “These European and Arican stars are a bit hard to deal with.

I don’t think parties are attractive to them.

Next ti, let’s just make a movie…

Investing in a Hollywood film company doesn’t require much money, and I’m really curious about the legendary red couch…”

After all, Hamandan is an internet celebrity, so he cares a lot about his image…

Faced with Joe’s crassness, the guy could only give a sheepish smile, not knowing how to respond.

However, the Big Beard next to him nodded with a smile and said, “Starting a film company is a good idea.

If there’s a chance, I’d be happy to invest a bit of money.”

As he said this, Big Beard reached his hand out to Joe Ga and said, “My na is Tahnoon, pleased to et you…”

Joe Ga, unsure of the man’s identity, smiled and replied, “I am Hu Lang…”

As soon as Tahnoon heard Joe Ga introducing himself, his eyes lit up and he said with a smile, “Are you the Hu Lang from P·B?

Hamandan has been telling about your business, and I’ve been wanting to have a chat with you…”

Joe Ga was taken aback for a mont, then saw Saidi nodding slightly.

He imdiately realized that this guy was from Abu Dhabi.

Seeing the enthusiastic deanor of the man before him, Joe Ga nodded, smiled, and said, “Then we should find a quiet place to talk…”

Hamandan seed to not want to be involved in Tahnoon’s affairs but had no choice.

He managed a slight smile and said, “Saidi has a cigar lounge on the second floor with authentic Cuban cigars; we can sit there.”

As a sharp individual, Joe Ga could see that Hamandan wasn’t prepared, and negotiating at this ti could easily disadvantage the prince…

Although Hamandan wasn’t exactly a friend, he was Saidi’s brother, and beyond that, Hamandan was a great custor who even paid extra to entertain Namo, so he had to be looked after well…

So Joe Ga laughingly waved his hand and said, “There’s no need to be so formal.

Let’s go find sothing to drink and have a little chat.

Today is the resort’s opening ceremony; let’s make friends first.

Business will be there, and if we’re keen, we’ll get it done.”

Tahnoon was taken aback, gave Hamandan a curious glance, and then smiled and nodded, “Right, business will be there and there will always be an outco…”

With that, Tahnoon gestured to his two companions, and then led the way to the lobby…

Hamandan seed to breathe a sigh of relief as Tahnoon walked away, then gestured for Saidi to follow.

Next, he gave a thankful pat on Joe Ga’s arm and said, “Tahnoon is Hamdan bin Zayed’s son of the Nahyan Family…

Well, Hamdan is the Deputy Pri Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and, uh, he and I, well, we have so disagreents on certain matters…”

As he spoke, Hamandan looked at Joe Ga’s smiling face and said helplessly, “But I have to thank you…”

Joe Ga looked back at Hamandan, who had beco sensible, and said, “Abu Dhabi is one of the wealthiest royal families in the world.

I haven’t thanked you for letting et such a person…”

Hamandan, after hearing this, hesitated for a mont before whispering, “Saidi has been singing your praises everywhere.

Tahnoon heard about P·B’s operations in Iraq and made sure to accompany here this ti…

He’s keen to invite P·B to emulate what you did in Iraq, to move to the Yen coalition base for logistics services…”

Joe Ga was startled, then shook his head decisively, “How could I take on such a business?

Arica is the main logistics provider in this war; how much would I have to hate myself to go against Arica in this regard?”

Hamandan paused, then said with a smile, “Now that you say it, I can rest assured…

Over the past year, the Gulf Coalition has been very dissatisfied with what Arica calls logistics; they only want us to buy arms and pay no attention to the actual situation.

But since you’re a friend of Saidi’s, I feel obliged to remind you of the risks involved.”

Joe Ga waved it off nonchalantly, “When it cos to business, if they ask and I can do it, I’ll do it; if not, I won’t.

That kind of thing is about mutual consent; they can’t force to take the job, can they?”

Then Joe Ga looked at Hamandan and said with a smile, “From the look of it, you seem to have another proposal.

Since it’s not a formal occasion, can you tell about it…

Let be honest with you, you are fantastic clients for a strong company!”

As they walked, Hamandan pondered for a mont and said, “We’re not interested in increasing our involvent in Yen; what concerns us more is the issue of counter-terrorism.

Al-Qaeda and the Houthi Ard Forces have threatened to attack our cities multiple tis, and I think what we need is a more decisive strike force to proactively deter them…”

Joe Ga thought for a mont and then said, realizing, “You want to hire skilled fighters to strike at key targets…”
