Chapter 941: Chapter 847: The Great Syria Strategy

The ‘Safety Zone’ is the most impressive humanitarian achievent the United Nations has had in recent years.

Current statistics show that nearly 120,000 people displaced by war have gathered in the Safety Zone.

The most miraculous thing is that the United Nations did not spend much money at all, but rather provided a na. Everyone thought the funds raised by Princess Amina could not support for long, yet in the end, people realized that P·B didn’t just provide for the refugees for nothing, but had them all go to work.

And then the funding issue of the Safety Zone seed to vanish…

‘Not idling’, is the core essence of P·B’s approach to handling refugees; if there isn’t work available for you, they’ll at least give you a broom to sweep the streets.

Unless physically disabled, lying around and waiting for relief is not an option here.

Joe Ga specifically asked Tong Tong’s grandmother to put aside her ideas of turning Sangha Town into the ‘Pearl of the Earth’ for a while and to draw up a town planning map for the Safety Zone.

With the help of unmanned airships, they marked out the gridlines on the ground, after which professional engineers entered the scene to instruct the order of construction.

In the absence of advanced engineering machinery, the small town where the Safety Zone was located was gradually built up by the refugees bit by bit.

Apart from paying salaries to the professional technicians and full-ti workers, Joe Ga didn’t shell out any more cash.

For the refugees with higher mobility, covering accommodation, food, and dical care was enough to mobilize tens of thousands.

In the end, it doesn’t matter what the Safety Zone turns into…

Whether the houses look good or not doesn’t matter at all. Joe Ga himself won’t live there anyway; he just needs to fix the roads so that trucks can pass through.

Keeping everyone busy, the thriving state of affairs, and the sense of achievent brought by construction can dilute the gloom brought by war.

When United Nations personnel witnessed the state of the Safety Zone, they were all dumbfounded.

The hard part of negotiation they didn’t have to worry about, and without lifting a finger, they received an unprecedented amount of praise just for providing a na.

Now even the Syrian Governnt, which effectively suffered a loss, has sent representatives, as if the sufferers themselves believe the United Nations’ decision at the ti was correct.

Now, Iran, Iraq, and Syria, primarily aligned with the SY faction, have all sent official delegates.

The United Arab Emirates and Qatar from the XN faction also sent delegates, and surprisingly they’re getting along well in their discussions.

It’s just that P·B’s achievents are too exaggerated; after the thod of using the enemy’s bodies to build walls and the widespread circulation of a massive amount of combat footage, many negative voices have arisen…

Otherwise, even if Joe Ga couldn’t have won the Nobel Peace Prize, getting a nomination wouldn’t have been impossible.

Now, this honor can only be accepted by the United Nations Human Rights Council.

And with Princess Amina in the spotlight, they’ve not only garnered attention and praise, but they’ve also drafted a proposal as a matter of course…

From now on, the United Nations will inject a developnt fund of approximately 20 million US Dollars into the Safety Zone each year, helping with construction, trying to expand humanitarian channels as much as possible, and taking on more responsibilities.

This money will be levied from countries that create human rights issues, with a three-to-seven split; thirty percent for the Safety Zone, the United Nations getting the rest.

This is what Joe Ga himself intended—if he wants to affiliate with the United Nations and legitimize P·B’s right to military autonomy, then a price must be paid.

When praised, you pull people from the UN to share the glory; when criticized, you silently take on the burden yourself.

This is like not having the qualifications to affiliate with a big company yourself, but using their brand to do business externally.

Making money? Not shabby at all!

As for taking on more responsibilities, that’s even less of an issue…

The greater the responsibility, the greater the power, of course!

Fear not the number of refugees; P·B’s territories are under military control, so there’s no fear of them causing trouble.

There are no welfare benefits to be had in Syria and Iraq right now, so there’s no issue of refugees squeezing welfare resources.

When you see refugees as a labor force, not as a freeloading burden, the situation becos entirely different.

Joe Ga intends to establish a long-term foothold here; his ideal Safety Zone is not so so-called refugee transit station, but a sieve…

To filter out the capable, hard-working part of the refugees, to couple with the Kurdish people who yearn for peace as the backbone force.

With a sufficient number of people, the Safety Zone can beco a nail firmly rooted here.

With a formidable strike force and humanitarian channels for leverage,

Once Joe Ga uses cheap supplies to squeeze other competitors out of the market, later on, when it cos to the affairs of Northeast Syria, whether it’s the Syrian Governnt, the opposition, or even NATO’s forces stationed there, they’ll have to consider Joe Ga’s opinion.

This is the formidable power of holding onto ‘material supply channels’!

When you get used to the cheap living supplies I provide, when your wife and kids wear and use all the stuff I’ve provided, would you dare ignore my suggestions as if they were just hot air?

The stance Joe Ga has presented is an open strategy!

Using the dia to suppress the Kurdish Militia in Syria is just the first step…

While establishing influence, attracting the Syrian Governnt to step forward and collaborate, making the Safety Zone an important force for stability in Syria.

The Kurdish and the Syrian Governnt are enemies, but that doesn’t an they don’t have a space for dialogue.

If Joe Ga can facilitate dialogue between the Kurdish and the Syrian Governnt, the Northeast and Southeast of Syria can be unified.

At worst, it’s just Kurdish autonomy. As long as the Yanks don’t ddle, the ruins-awaiting-revival of Syria can accept it.

And the most core interest point is the share of the oil refinery in the Kurdish-controlled area transferred by the Arican Departnt of Defense to P·B.

The rumor that the United States Army drove Humrs to steal oil is true, but the Yanks really aren’t banking on that bit of crude oil to make a fortune.

They are assisting the Kurdish in extracting oil and converting it into commodities through refineries.

On one hand, it fills their own needs, and on the other hand, it allows the Kurdish to get so cash, they can’t always rely on Uncle Sam’s support.

Because the oil fields are located between the Syrian Governnt Forces and Kurdish-controlled areas, the Kurds themselves don’t have the ans to steal it, so they’ll have to drag the United State Army into the fray. Uncle Sam can’t just watch his little brother run out of oil to burn, and it doesn’t cost them a di anyway.

But when Joe Ga takes over the shares of the oil refinery and has enough clout, the situation changes!

Syria may be an oil-producing country, but due to resource depletion and the impact of the war, it now needs to massively import energy to et its own needs.

The Russians basically control the southwest part of Syria, but their natural gas and oil extraction contracts have been signed for a long ti and there’s still no movent.

Closing the dostic energy gap is the most important issue for the doctor president at the mont.

Joe Ga’s olive branch has been offered, and it’s not up to him to refuse it.

An oil field left unexploited is a waste; everyone sits down and talks, repairs the extraction equipnt and oil pipelines, all connected to my refinery, and I’ll do the refining for you…

I’m not only willing to get the refinery running, I’m also willing to offer up all the shares of the refinery…

As long as you can strike a deal and agree to incorporate the oil fields, then whether one party takes a 40% share, or how the distribution works between you is irrelevant, P·B only wants 20%.

I’ll be responsible for managing and distributing, all you need to do is to share the profits!

This is a proposition neither side can refuse at this stage, but the specific division of shares still needs to be discussed.

The bottom line for Joe Ga is a 20% share, so that he can ensure the operation of the oil fields and refinery without shelling out extra money.

As for how the Syrian Governnt and the Kurdish split it, that has to be seen.

If you look at it just on paper, Joe Ga doesn’t really make money from the oil fields and refinery.

To operate an oil field and a refinery with a 20% share of the profits, supporting so many people, is almost like charity.

However, once the deal is struck, it would an that the Kurdish have a stable source of inco, the Syrian Governnt has a stable energy supply, and Joe Ga controls the livelihoods of tens of thousands of people.

Joe Ga is getting ready to play chef again…

Previously, by using the dia to disparage the Kurdish Militia, even causing internal divisions within them, was all part of laying this groundwork.

Kurdish united as one is a hard nut to crack, but Kurds full of survival instincts are another matter.

The reason why the Kurdish Militia can get support is because, like Israel, they are NATO’s pawns in stirring up the Middle East, and at the sa ti, they are Arica’s Vanguard in the fight against ISIS.

Now that ISIS has been severely weakened, the value of the Kurdish plumts, resulting in reduced political support.

Without international support, their so-called state-building is just sloganeering.

Thus, Joe Ga plans to take advantage of Arica’s desire to withdraw from Syria and the other NATO countries’ incapacity to interfere, inviting the Syrian Governnt and Kurdish to the dining table.

Any clear-eyed person can see that aside from throttling ISIS and proving they’re still the world leader, the Yanks hardly have substantial interests in Syria.

Once ISIS is gone, constrained by dostic conflicts and opposition voices, they would imdiately shrink their forces, bring in NATO as a stand-in, and then bow out themselves.

But is it that easy for the Yanks to withdraw?

The Kurdish aren’t fools either; their operations in Iraq prove that they too have so clever people among them.

The Aricans have set the tune too high for supporting the Kurdish themselves; they can’t get away without giving sufficient benefits and providing long-term political protection.

After all, no one wants to carry the stigma of ‘betrayal and abandonnt’!

Betrayal is okay, but playing the villain must be profitable.

Now, the Aricans find themselves in an awkward position: full support of the Kurdish is unrealistic, and helping them in fits and starts is too troubleso, wasting both money and political resources.

As there are several key diterranean ports in Western Syria, and keeping Russia from extending its influence into the diterranean is a common goal among all NATO mber states.

So in military terms, the Aricans will pass the buck to NATO as they too were one of the pushers of the Arab Spring and the Syrian civil war, then verbally acknowledging the righteousness of the Kurdish is enough.

At such a juncture, if P·B can get the Kurdish and the Syrian Governnt Forces to sit down and talk, preventing them from wailing for Uncle Sam’s help, the Yanks would absolutely be happy to wash their hands of the matter to save so trouble.

After all, there are so many opposition factions in Syria, the collaboration between the Kurdish and the Syrian Governnt won’t reconcile the country.

Joe Ga is essentially a chef recognized by the Yanks, getting the Syrian Governnt Forces and Kurdish to sit down and dine together.

I help you, and don’t ask for any tangible benefits in return; just allow to send in so useful daily necessities to improve the lives of the common folks.

Even the Virgin Mary couldn’t do better than this!

These are irresistible conditions and are part of Joe Ga’s invincible negotiation tactics.

I’m fucking helping out of goodwill, and if you still bullshit, then don’t bla for going to the United Nations to unleash hell and send soone to crack your skull open.

If you’re hamred to death, no one will speak up for you!
