The central region of the Galaxy is ho to nurous stars, emitting strong light and various intense rays.
The space region where the Celestial Battle Realm is located is filled with spiraling crimson lightning and arcing blue-white lightning. These lightnings are ever-changing, strikingly magnificent and beautiful.
Countless intertwining lightnings make this starry sky unbelievably bright.
This is Gao Xuan’s first visit to the Galactic Center, his first ti seeing such a splendid starry sky.
The strong light and radiation trigger sparks when they fall upon the Celestial Spirit Battle Armor.
The Source Power here is exceptionally dense, yet the reactions of Source Power are particularly violent. Endless storms of Source Power, like swift lightning, spread ferociously in all directions.
The Celestial Spirit Battle Armor, transford from Source Power, reacts instinctively to Source Power’s intrusion, creating such an anomaly.
In the center of the bright starry sky lies a more complex space.
This space emits a beautiful seven-colored halo, resembling a large three-dinsional collage of multi-colored bubbles pieced together.
Strangely enough, this space is completely unaffected by the strong light and radiation outside. Although both co-exist, they remain distinctly separate, not influencing each other.
The space emitting the seven-colored halo is undoubtedly the Celestial Battle Realm.
Gao Xuan used his Spiritual Power for a simple asurent, and found this irregular space to be nearly ten light-years in diater.
For a space opened by Laws, this space is vast. Because the Celestial Battle Realm is embedded in the Galactic Center region, it constantly contends with the powerful material rules of the Galactic Center.
Even divine beings like the Master of Blood face suppression from material laws in Positive Cosmos Space.
Yet, over thousands of years, the Celestial Battle Realm remains stable, indicating the strength of its Laws.
The imnse internal space of the Celestial Battle Realm presents a significant challenge for explorers.
It’s no wonder that few explorers below the level of Gold enter the Battle Realm. Without Gold’s spatial displacent abilities, traveling through this space poses a major issue.
Gao Xuan wasn’t in a hurry to enter the Celestial Battle Realm; he observed from the outside for a long ti and switched to his chanical Combat Body.
The Celestial Spirit Battle Armor, transford by Sword Qi, is splendidly radiant and cool-looking, but lacks stability. Its defensive capabilities are fairly average.
The chanical Combat Body, however, is genuine armor. Even if Gao Xuan loses consciousness entirely, the Combat Body can operate autonomously to protect him.
Combined with the Eight Extres Divine Weapon, the chanical Combat Body exceeds the Celestial Spirit Battle Armor a hundredfold in battle and defense. The two are simply not on the sa level.
Gao Xuan adjusted to his optimal state before entering the Celestial Battle Realm.
The overlapping seven-colored bubbles seed lightweight and easily breakable; however, as Gao Xuan entered, he clearly felt the tough resistance of the space barrier.
With Gao Xuan’s continued exertion, the seemingly bubble-like space barrier collapsed inwardly and suddenly swallowed him.
Even with Gao Xuan’s formidable Spiritual Power, he experienced a mont of dizziness as he swirled and rolled within the invisible vortex of strong Powers of Laws. It took him a few seconds to adjust to the new environnt.
The countless distorted lights then returned to normal. The world before Gao Xuan’s eyes was almost identical to what he saw outside.
Clusters of bubbles in various colors were scattered indiscriminately across the vast space.
Large continental lands arranged randomly, rivers flowing across the sky, towering peaks floating around, slowly rotating planets... even a giant tree towering millions of kiloters high...
All these existences shared a common feature: they were broken.
Broken continents, broken peaks, broken planets...
In the dead silent space, there was no sign of life. Only deep marks of destruction and ruin remained.
Gao Xuan sighed inwardly; he had witnessed humanity’s apocalypse and held a deeper feeling toward the scene before him.
After a mont of silence, Gao Xuan activated his Sky-breaking Divine Wings for the first jump.
The Celestial Battle Realm is a highly complex space, completely different from normal Positive Cosmos Space. Its spatial layers overlap like a 3D maze.
Different Space Laws grant the space different characteristics. So spaces appear vast, while their internal space is extrely small. So spaces seem just before your eyes, yet might only be a projection from distant space.
In the Celestial Battle Realm, the first priority is locating the space coordinates to determine one’s position.
According to the Book of All-Knowing, the most stable space coordinate within the Celestial Battle Realm is the fragnted World Tree.
This World Tree is also the center of the Celestial Battle Realm, and its projection can be seen from any position. By analyzing the state of the projection, one can determine their spatial location.
This thod of positioning is simple and crude but sufficient for Gao Xuan.
The Nine-Revolutions Divine Cicada is located on the third branch of the World Tree. After several tests, Gao Xuan confird the correct direction of the World Tree and found the so-called third branch.
On the broken giant heart-shaped leaf, a cicada of pure white lay quietly, motionless.
This cicada looked like a jade carving, only the size of a human’s little finger. It appeared like a lifeless object with no signs of divinity.
Finding the Nine-Revolutions Divine Cicada so easily without encountering any danger surprised Gao Xuan slightly.
However, the real danger lies with the Nine-Revolutions Divine Cicada.
According to the Book of All-Knowing, to gain the recognition of this peerless Marvel, one must undergo the Nine-Revolutions Trial of the Nine-Revolutions Divine Cicada.
Failing the Nine-Revolutions test could an the loss of the Nine-Revolutions Divine Cicada, or in severe cases, even result in death.
Gao Xuan had asked the Book of All-Knowing how to pass the test, only to find he couldn’t pay the price. Fortunately, it was Bai Yutang who helped him ask the question.
Bai Yutang could only ask a maximum of two questions at any one ti. Luckily, this had no impact on Bai Yutang.
Without getting the answer, Gao Xuan decided to go it alone. Although there were risks, the potential rewards were huge; the risk was worth taking.
Before the Divine Enthronent, Gao Xuan needed more accumulation and a stronger foundation.
Gao Xuan’s power right now is strong, but only in comparison to those of the sa level. He had a very clear understanding of that.
Reaching this level, Gao Xuan would not hesitate or shrink back.
He simply pondered for a mont, then reached out to take the Nine-Revolutions Divine Cicada.
The spirit core in Gao Xuan’s brain connected with the Nine-Revolutions Divine Cicada, and he felt as if his divine soul had exploded.
Infinite divine light burst forth, and then his consciousness was swallowed by the divine light.
After an unknown period, Gao Xuan slowly regained awareness.
Gao Xuan found himself in a dark environnt, sucking on a thin tube-like mouth to extract the cool, bitter juice.
"Is this in the soil?"
Gao Xuan suddenly had an epiphany; he was now a tiny cicada egg, tucked inside a cocoon, absorbing nutrients by feeding on the root juice.
In this form, his spiritual power was completely confined, barely able to sense his own state.
Gao Xuan’s keen spiritual power couldn’t extend outward but could perceive his own fragile condition.
He consciously intensified the absorption of root juice to accelerate nutrient intake. Nourished by the root juice, his body continued to grow and strengthen.
After hundreds of days and nights, Gao Xuan finally was able to break free from the cocoon. He exerted all his strength to crawl upwards, finally erging from the soil and climbing up the tree.
In this tiny insect state, a blade of grass, a leaf, or a protruding tree root presented obstacles.
The compound eyes of the insect made all objects appear bizarre and enormous.
The mbrane wings on Gao Xuan’s body were feeble and powerless, unable to fly. He could only crawl slowly. He knew that he must climb to the top of the tree to see the sunlight, absorb the dew, and eat the tenderest leaves.
The larva was extraordinarily weak, with little power in its six legs. Gao Xuan had to crawl for a while and then rest, wisely distributing his energy, while finding spots to eat.
All this seed easy, but for a tiny insect, it was extrely challenging. The insect’s body was so fragile. Though Gao Xuan had great spiritual power, he couldn’t utilize it at this ti.
He could only see within a ter and hear various subtle sounds, yet couldn’t discern the source of the sounds. A gentle breeze felt like a Level 12 gale to him.
The slight trembling of leaves was akin to a Level 10 earthquake.
In this fragile state, even falling from the tree would lead to imdiate death. Gao Xuan couldn’t afford mishaps. He moved cautiously, step by step.
Gao Xuan had never been so cautiously aware in both of his lives.
There were no strong enemies, no dangerous environnts, just the most natural occurrences, which were perilous obstacles for him.
Utilizing all his strength rely equated to struggling for survival. In this state, ideals, love, and hatred beca insignificant.
Gao Xuan exhausted all his strength and finally climbed to the top of the tree. Through the gigantic tree leaves, he could see the sunlight shining down. He couldn’t help but want to chirp loudly, vibrating the tympanum in his abdon to make a sound.
Not far away, one of Gao Xuan’s kind was making noisy cries. A giant bird flew past, its thin, spear-like beak accurately snapping up that kind.
The joyous clamor of cries abruptly ceased.
Gao Xuan was instantly filled with fear; if he had chirped a mont earlier, he would have been the one dying...
In such a state, being eaten by a bird, who knows if he’d die? Even if not dead, the challenge would fail, unable to earn recognition from the Nine-Revolutions Divine Cicada.
Gao Xuan could only suppress his instinct to chirp, silently living beneath the leaves, quietly watching the rain pour down, silently listening to thunder in the sky, quietly feeling the gentle breeze...
Day and night cycled, and a fleeting few dozen days passed when Gao Xuan suddenly felt a chill in the wind blowing towards him.
A slight chill that made his body stiff.
Gao Xuan suddenly realized that autumn had arrived...
Leaves quickly turned yellow, the blowing autumn wind grew colder, and the falling rain beca more icy.
Gao Xuan’s body beca increasingly rigid; this cold-blooded insect couldn’t resist low temperatures. He could feel he wouldn’t live for many more days.
The tree trunk gradually dried up, Gao Xuan already unable to extract any juice. With the vitality within him slowly vanishing, Gao Xuan sensed death approaching.
Gao Xuan had lived two lifetis, witnessed countless deaths, and even experienced death himself. However, he had never experienced such a natural death.
Reaching this point, life should co to an end. Gao Xuan peacefully accepted his own death, without any emotional fluctuations.
His frozen insect body fell from the trunk. In the last mont, a thought suddenly surfaced in Gao Xuan’s mind: being an insect is so boring, being human is better...
In the darkness, Gao Xuan heard soone calling: "Old Gao, Old Gao, wake up..."
