The truck stopped at a riverbank, below which a long river surged, and across it lay endless mountains.
Gao Xuan glanced around, noting that they were at least several dozens of kiloters away from Golden City. Besides the Red Knife Gang mbers, not a single other living being was in sight.

He genuinely found it hilarious. Did the Red Knife Gang gather ostentatiously here just to scare this kid? He was overthinking it.
"Kid, you’re dead today. I will skin you and take your head to Qi Yan."
Scar flicked a short knife from his waist across his fingertips, "If Qi Yan is sensible, I’ll spare her life. If not, I’ll have no choice but to kill her. Maybe then you can et underground."

Gao Xuan shook his head and curiously asked, "Then can I ask a technical question, how do you handle the corpse?"
Scar thought Gao Xuan’s way of thinking was bizarre, still concerned about how his corpse would be handled at that mont.

The two gunn were holding shotguns. Firing them recklessly would have dire consequences for many around. Neither dared to shoot carelessly.
Gao Xuan slipped between the two gunn like a fish.
Before they could react, Gao Xuan grabbed their hands and pulled the trigger.
With two deafening blasts, half of the knife-wielding attacker’s head was blown off. Several others standing nearby were riddled with bloody holes from shrapnel.
Scar and Wang Biao were unhard, both reacting quickly and imdiately rolling to the side.
