Now reading: Chapter 123 - 91: Revenge and Redemption: Shi Feiyang’s Path from King of Hundred Victories Saber, a Fantasy novel by Stone Sword.

Gong Sing unleashed a sword technique derived from mysterious sword marks, with the wind howling and Sword Qi crisscrossing.

Wherever the sword technique touched, the originally calm air rippled like the surface of a lake into which stones had been thrown, spreading outward circle by circle.

Even more wondrous was the resonance between these ripples and the spectral figure’s blue light emitting coldly.

The originally stable blue light seed to be tugged by an invisible force, starting to fluctuate slightly, and its once condensed brilliance beca chaotic, sizzling as if the foundation of the spectral figure’s power was under siege, like a tall building beginning to shake in an earthquake.

The spectral figure was evidently affected, and its originally fluid movents suddenly halted, as if an invisible giant hand had yanked it.

The large blue light hand gripping the scarred man also unconsciously loosened slightly.

Seeing this, the scarred man’s eyes flashed with a glimr of survival, the light like the last flicker of hope in the darkness. He exerted all his strength to break free from the constraints, falling to the ground in a muffled "thud."

His face was full of fear, pallid as paper, scrambling towards the basent exit, leaving behind a shocking trail of blood on the dim basent floor, each drop telling of his desperation.

Shi Feiyang seized this opportunity, quickly exchanging a glance with Gong Sing.

In that instant, their eyes t, no words needed, their bond was evident.

Shi Feiyang imdiately launched a frontal assault, swinging the Myanmar Saber with airtight intensity.

As the saber light flickered, a biting chill filled the air, freezing it to ice.

Each swing of Shi Feiyang’s saber brought forth a whistling wind, like an Ice Blade slicing through the sky, emitting a sharp "hissing" sound.

Gong Sing cleverly coordinated from the side, her Long Sword casting shadows, using that special sword technique to continuously disrupt the spectral figure’s power.

Her sword technique was agile and varied, like a butterfly fluttering amid flowers, or a Spiritual Snake swimming in water, complenting Shi Feiyang’s fierce saber strikes, with one being hard and the other soft, perfectly harmonized.

Under their joint assault, the spectral figure gradually blurred, the once intense surrounding blue light began to dissipate, like morning mist under the warm sun, "wispy and thread-like" fading away, gradually becoming thin.

Just as the spectral figure was about to completely vanish, a sudden change occurred.

It let out an extrely sharp cry, a sound like a blade piercing the sky, sharp and piercing, "screeeeech," painfully shaking everyone’s eardrums, as if to shatter their hearing completely.

At the sa ti, the basent floor began to shake violently, as if a giant hand was crazily stirring underground, rumbling loudly, with stone slabs cracking open and dust rising from the gaps.

The mysterious pattern on the stone coffin flashed even more fiercely, with dazzling light, as if about to trigger an apocalyptic disaster.

Xiang Kun sensed imminent danger, urgently shouting, "Not good, this place is going to collapse, retreat quickly!"

The voice was full of urgency and tension.

Upon hearing this, none dared to hesitate any longer, imdiately abandoning the pursuit of the scarred man, turning to sprint toward the basent exit.

Their footsteps were hurried and frantic, echoing in the basent, the "thump, thump, thump" sounds like the countdown of life.

Behind them, stones continuously fell from overhead, hitting the ground with a muffled sound, "boom, boom," the dust rapidly rising, quickly shrouding the entire basent, obscuring vision.

The crowd desperately fled amidst the chaos and danger.

Finally, just as they ran out of the old courtyard, a deafening explosion sounded behind them, a "boom——" echoed, and the old courtyard collapsed with a roar, stirring up a dust cloud that blotted out the sun, rising slowly like a massive mushroom cloud.

Standing before the ruins, Shi Feiyang and the others looked solemn, their clothes soaked in sweat, clinging to their bodies, outlining their weary forms. Every face was etched with exhaustion and astonishnt, breathing heavily with heaving chests, the sound of panting "huff huff" was particularly clear in the silent air.

Although they temporarily repelled the illusive figure this ti, the mysteries in their hearts increased, like a thick fog tightly shrouding them, making them feel oppressed and confused.

Shi Feiyang slowly scanned the ruins of broken walls and rubble in front of him, then turned around, looked at everyone coldly, and said in a deep voice, "That scarred man must hold the key clues, we must not let him escape."

After hearing this, everyone nodded, a fighting spirit reignited in their eyes, like burning flas, they quickly sprang into action, tracking in the direction the scarred man fled.

In their pursuit, they arrived at a hidden alley in Jinan Prefecture.

The alley was filled with a pungent stench, the sll of sewage and garbage long mixed and fernted, enough to make one nauseous, as if they were in a giant garbage dump.

The houses on both sides of the alley were dilapidated, the walls covered with dark green moss that spread wantonly under the erosion of ti, silently telling the tale of bygone years.

Xiang Kun’s sharp eyes quickly noticed a few drops of dark red blood in the corner of the wall.

He imdiately squatted down, moving swiftly and quickly, extended his finger to gently touch, and after careful observation, said, "The blood hasn’t dried, he must be nearby." His voice carried a hint of excitent and tension.

Following the direction indicated by the blood trail, the group ca to a seemingly long-abandoned courtyard.

Shi Feiyang raised his hand and made a gesture for silence, his gaze sharp like an eagle’s, vigilantly scanning the surroundings, missing no subtle movents, like a leopard searching for prey.

Then, he cautiously and gently pushed open the courtyard gate, and as the hinges that had long lacked maintenance emitted an ear-piercing "creak," it was particularly abrupt in this eerily quiet courtyard, like a thunderclap breaking the silence.

The courtyard was deathly still, only a few withered plants trembled in the cold wind, their dry branches and leaves rubbing against each other, making a rustling sound, as if desperately waiting for the final arrival of death, the sound like the whisper of ghosts.

Suddenly, a dark figure leaped out from the rooftop like a phantom, fleeing rapidly towards the courtyard gate, so fast it left only an afterimage.

Seeing this, Shi Feiyang shouted, "Stop running!" His voice thunderous, causing the surrounding air to tremble, a "roar" echoing in the courtyard. Before his voice faded, his figure shot out like a black lightning bolt, chasing swiftly in the direction the dark figure vanished, disappearing in the thick night in the blink of an eye, as if swallowed by the darkness.

On the narrow streets, the crowd surged like a tide, coming and going, the cacophony of voices, footsteps, and shouts intertwined into a noisy chaos that made one’s ears ache. The dark figure, resembling a cunning loach, relied on his intimate knowledge of the street alleys’ layout, zig-zagging through the gaps in the crowd, each swift movent ghostly and fleeting, giving no ti for prediction. His figure weaved through the crowd, as agile as a fish swimming in water.

Shi Feiyang and the warriors of the Heroic Sakura Association, however, were like well-trained, sharp-sensed hounds, their eyes locked firmly on the dark figure, tightly tailing it with relentless pursuit. Shi Feiyang’s gaze was resolute and sharp, like a drawn sword in a cold night, piercing through the layered crowd, never loosening his capture of the dark figure’s tracks. His steps were steady and swift, every step landing with mighty force, making the stone pavent underfoot tremble slightly, "thud thud" as it echoed.

Finally, in front of a deserted temple, the warriors of the Heroic Sakura Association successfully intercepted the dark figure.

The dark figure slowly turned around, revealing himself to be the scarred man.

At this mont, his face was as pale as paper, devoid of any blood color, one hand weakly clutching his wounded chest, crimson blood seeped between his fingers, dripping onto the ground, blooming into shocking dark red blood flowers. His eyes were full of despair and unwillingness, like a beast cornered, still fiercely struggling, a low growl emanating from his throat.

Shi Feiyang strode forward, standing firmly in front of the scarred man, like a towering mountain, emanating a powerful aura that made people shudder. He sternly interrogated, his voice like a great bell, booming down the street: "Confess! What exactly is your plot? Where are the missing Sect Leaders being hidden?"

The scarred man pulled the corners of his mouth into a disdainful smile, full of mockery, as if sneering at Shi Feiyang’s naivety, the laughter echoing particularly piercing on the quiet street.
