Now reading: Chapter 143 - 109: Dawn Breaks in the Canyon: Shi Feiyang St from King of Hundred Victories Saber, a Fantasy novel by Stone Sword.

At this mont, Shi Feiyang was like a War God descended to earth, majestic and imposing, unstoppable.

His eyes were wide open, revealing endless killing intent and determination. That killing intent could scorch the enemy’s soul, and his determined gaze could penetrate the enemy’s heart, leaving them nowhere to hide. Each of Shi Feiyang’s attacks was carried out with lethal intent. Under his torch-like gaze, the enemies felt the shadow of death looming over them; each roar of his sent shivers down their spines. The sound of "Roar—" echoed through the canyon, waves of sound rolled, shaking the cliffs on both sides. Amid this roar, the enemies seed to be in the Hell Abyss, tightly enwrapped by fear.

Under Shi Feiyang’s fierce assault, the n in black fell one by one.

So had their skulls crushed, brains splattering, red and white matter spraying everywhere; the bloody scene was nauseating, perating the air with a strong stench. So had their spines shattered, collapsing to the ground with bodies twisted into bizarre shapes, like a broken doll manipulated wantonly by an invisible hand; others had their limbs torn apart, grueso beyond bearing.

The air filled with the pungent sll of blood, a scent that suffocated, filling the entire valley with this sanguine essence.

The first light of dawn began to show on the horizon; its weak rays were like a gentle hand, gently pulling back the veil of darkness.

Cast upon this bloody valley, the originally dark gorge was stained with blood red, the earth soaked with blood. The red was bright and glaring, telling of the battle’s cruelty. Every drop of blood narrated the fading of life.

The n in black who ambushed Shi Feiyang, Lie Quan and others were all gruesoly killed under Shi Feiyang’s ten fingers, not one escaped.

Bodies were strewn about the scene, not a corpse remained intact, so even unrecognizable, limbs scattered, the gruesoness shocking, as if it were Human Purgatory, unbearable to behold. Those scenes seed to be the true depiction of a nightmare.

Yet Shi Feiyang stood amidst the pool of blood, his clothes flapping in the morning breeze. Although there were so bloodstains on him as well, those stains only added to his heroism and gallantry. His stance remained upright, like a pine tree standing unyielding, showcasing unbreakable resolve, enduring wind and rain, he remained steadfast. His gaze was still resolute, with a glimr of victory: Justice shall prevail over evil!

Shi Feiyang and others, taking advantage of the morning light, finally saw the situation ahead clearly.

They saw a massive stone coffin silently standing at the end of the canyon, like an ancient monunt, exuding a mysterious and eerie aura. An ominous atmosphere pervaded, as if invisible eyes were watching from the darkness, sending chills down one’s spine, as if countless cold hands were gently stroking. Several dark figures stood by the stone coffin, their silhouettes seed especially sinister in this eerie atmosphere, like Death itself beckoning to Shi Feiyang and others, that beckoning gesture like a summons to death, making one shudder, as if an invitation from hell.

Shi Feiyang’s expression was grave; he murmured to Lie Quan, "Elder Lie, take our disciples and retreat imdiately. Very soon, Jin Liufu and Xiang Kun will co to cover for us. This battle, I will handle them." His voice was low and firm, full of confidence, conveying an unshakeable belief to Lie Quan, that voice was like a great bell, steady and forceful, echoing through the silent canyon.

Lie Quan was originally injured, his face pale as paper, his body trembling slightly, like a candle flickering in the wind.

He knew well that his martial arts were inadequate, unlikely to make any greater contribution in this fierce battle.

He waved his hand lightly, worry evident on his face, as if saying he couldn’t help but worry about Shi Feiyang, the young Grand Squad Leader. In his heart, Shi Feiyang was akin to his younger kin, filled with care and concern.

Lie Quan led the surviving dozens of disciples to slowly retreat.

But they did not go far, unable to set their minds at ease about their Grand Squad Leader Shi Feiyang. After all, Shi Feiyang was only eighteen, in their eyes he was still a child, how could they bear to leave him alone in this perilous place, their concerned gazes always tightly followed Shi Feiyang.

The ones guarding the entrance of the valley are all experts invited by the Black Wind Stronghold.

There is Hong Changshan, known as the "Iron-Backed Immortal Ape". This man is massive, like a small mountain, with imnse strength, wielding a giant iron staff made of refined steel. Each swing stirs the air like a tiger’s roar, kicking up a gale, blowing away all obstacles, the wind howling like a raging hurricane, sending sand and stones flying around.

Then there’s Li Tianhao, who wields the "Soul-Chasing Staff". His body is agile, like a nimble leopard, and his staff techniques are treacherous. That slender iron staff strikes with the unpredictability of a spiritual snake erging from its hole, always carrying a deadly threat with each thrust, a sharp "whoosh" piercing through the air, as if tearing the sky apart; the monk Xuanyue, draped in a kasaya, chanting softly, appears compassionate, but harbors hidden killing intent, his eyes flickering with a chilling light, hiding endless darkness.

Li Feng, known as the "Flying Celestial Divine Eagle", excels in the lightweight technique, moving freely in the air like a black lightning bolt, wielding a pair of short blades that gleam with cold light, capable of cutting through anything. The "swoosh" of his movents is terrifying, resembling the shriek of a night owl.

"Invincible Sword" Luo Biwang possesses fierce swordsmanship, his Sword Qi crisscrossing, each move aid at vital points, his face bearing a haughty expression, convinced that no one in the world can defeat him; "Chaotic Sea Divine Flood Dragon" Sun ng, excellent in water, yet nimble on land, brandishing his trident with overwhelming montum as if capable of stirring monstrous waves, the "whoosh" of his movents roaring like the sea, shaking eardrums painfully.

"Ring-Spinning Saber" Huang Yuanxiong’s saber spins like a flying wheel, impenetrable, allowing no flaws. The "whoosh" of its rotation feels like a whirlpool of death, carrying an imnse pressure. At this mont, they all rush forward together, like ravenous wolves at Shi Feiyang, their eyes gleaming with greed and ferocity, seemingly intent on devouring Shi Feiyang alive.

Shi Feiyang shows no fear, his eyes full of disdain. He lets out a cold snort, akin to the sound of ice shattering in a frigid night — sharp and chill. Then, he draws his saber, the action crisp and decisive. With a "swish", the Myanmar Saber erges with a biting force, its blade gleaming coldly in the dim light. He activates the Bright Jade Technique, and in an instant, a wave of extre cold surges from his body, freezing the air around him. Ice crystals form rapidly, enveloping him in a thick layer of frost, as if cloaked in a shimring ice armor. He then employs the Hundred Victories Saber Technique, resolutely engaging these formidable foes. His montum is like a fierce fla, determined to fell every enemy in his path, reducing them to dust under his fierce saber onslaught.

In the midst of blades and shadows, Shi Feiyang moves with agility like a dragon, each maneuver infused with deep inner power and exquisite blade technique, seamlessly integrated with this set of saber techniques. His Bright Jade Technique operates to the fullest, surrounding him in a faint, dark blue glow, emanating a piercing cold that seems to co from an extre cold region, a harsh wind from the icy north.

The enemy attacks, when touching this glow, clang harmlessly off like striking a bronze wall, springing back instantly without getting close, as if repelled by an invisible, invincible ice wall. In Shi Feiyang’s hands, the Hundred Victories Saber Technique is exceptionally formidable. Every swing delivers a deafening roar, akin to the mingling of dragon and tiger cries, that seems to rend the firmant, leaving the enemy’s ears ringing, as if their hearing will be shattered entirely.

In the fierce battle, Shi Feiyang’s attacks are sharp, every move lethal, his speed dizzyingly fast, rendering it impossible for the opponents to discern his moves. He suddenly swings his saber horizontally with a slash, the saber wind howling, akin to a sharp lightning bolt tearing through the sky. With a "whoosh", it pressures back several opponents. Those few stagger back, unable to maintain their footing against the saber wind, faces wrought with terror; then, turning backhanded, he thrusts his saber like lightning at the enemy’s throat, moving so swiftly that the enemy couldn’t react in ti. A flash of cold light spears towards the vital point, leaving an air-splitting crackling in its wake.

Hong Changshan, the "Iron-Backed Immortal Ape", boasts his overwhelming strength, contorting his face into a nacing smile, a smile like a demon’s appearance, twisted and terrifying.

He swings his giant iron staff, cutting through the air with a "whoosh", smashing down towards Shi Feiyang, with force as if it could gouge a deep pit into the earth. He bellows: "Boy, die!" with a voice like a great bell ringing, filled with intimidation, shaking the surrounding air into quivering.

Shi Feiyang’s eyes flash with a calmness like stars on a cold night, bright and steady. He sidesteps with the fluidity of drifting clouds and flowing water, effortlessly dodging this thunderous strike. He deftly slashes with his Myanmar Saber, releasing a cold light, leaving a deep cut on Hong Changshan’s thick arm. Blood spurts forth like a gushing spring.

"Ah!" Hong Changshan howls in pain, a cry akin to a wounded beast, echoing through the valley, his face twisted with agony. His attack slackens, and the heavy iron staff droops slightly.

Seizing the mont, Li Tianhao makes a surprise attack from behind, his slender iron staff darting like a nimble venomous snake, accompanied by a sharp whooshing, directly targeting Shi Feiyang’s back. Shi Feiyang, as if having eyes on the back of his head, senses the danger, his gaze alert like a cautious leopard sensing peril.

He spins with agility and speed, lifting his Myanmar Saber, "clang", not only knocking away Li Tianhao’s staff but also transferring such force that Li Tianhao’s arm instantly goes numb, losing all sensation.

Shi Feiyang thrusts forward again, and Li Tianhao hastily retreats, his face filled with terror, eyes widening in shock, cold sweat beading on his forehead, rolling down with a "drip-drip" sound, exceptionally clear in the tense atmosphere.
