Over the next few days, Lin Yu’an spent almost all of his ti practicing with the bow and arrow and exploring the surrounding environnt, apart from collecting winter fuel.

His five newly crafted Beaver Bone Arrows already felt better in hand than the Hunting Arrows with tal tips.

Through recent intensive archery practice, he keenly felt that his archery state was completely different from before.

His eyesight was like a lens that had been wiped, with distant details perfectly clear! His judgnt of distance was also as precise as if he had a built-in rangefinder.

Today, Lin Yu’an is planning to try his luck a little further away.

The sun was perfect, the breeze was calm, making it a wonderful ti to hunt outdoors.

"Guys, after a few days of adaptive practice, I’ve developed a fantastic feel for these new bone arrows."

Lin Yu’an slung the Quiver on his back, with three of his favorite Beaver Bone Practice Arrows and six tal-tipped Hunting Arrows inside, tightly holding the 50 pound Arican Hunting Bow.

"Today, we won’t be shooting at grass targets; we’ll test the power of these new arrows further away from the camp, hoping for so results."

He walked upstream along the creek, capturing many subtle sounds in the woods with his enhanced perception.

The rustling sound as the wind swept through the needles, the cooing of pigeons in the distance, and even the rustling sound of small animals passing through.

After nearly two hours of walking, he suddenly stopped at the edge of a spruce tree woodland, tilting his ear to listen.

"Co-co... Co-co-co..."

A familiar and rhythmic sound ca from behind the nearby bush!

"It’s a grouse!"

Lin Yu’an’s eyes lit up instantly, and he lowered his voice to the cara: "Listening to the sound, there’s more than one!"

He drew a Beaver Bone Arrow from the Quiver, gently nocking it to the bowstring.

Although this bone arrow was not as sharp as those with tal tips, Lin Yu’an currently loved the feel of it! Might as well test the power.

For grouse, a bird with a small size and low defense, shooting them with good force should be fatal.

Instead of rushing into the bush directly, he first observed the surrounding terrain. The bush was quite dense, and approaching directly could easily stir up the grass and startle the snake.

"At this ti, a little strategy is needed."

Lin Yu’an’s lips curled with a confident arc.

He picked up a few small stones from the ground, then stealthily circled to the side and rear of the bush, estimating the distance.

Suddenly, he forcefully threw one of the stones towards the opposite side of the bush, away from himself!

"Ptah!" The stone landed on the fallen leaves in the distance, making a slight noise.

Almost simultaneously, the grouse in the bush paused their calls.

Soon after, two gray-brown, plump spruce grouse were indeed attracted by the noise, cautiously poking their heads to look toward the direction where the stone fell!

They were completely unaware that behind them, Lin Yu’an was slowly drawing back the bowstring.

Lin Yu’an’s focus was extrely intense, using his "Sixth Sense" to accurately predict the position of a grouse’s body by following the trajectory of its head movent.

"Whoosh——!"

The Beaver Bone Arrow shot out from the string, making a slight whistling sound as it flew precisely over a distance of more than ten ters!

"Thud!"

A dull soft sound!

The bone arrow hit the grouse squarely! With trendous impact, it staggered a few steps forward, cried out mournfully, and then flapped its wings and fell to the ground.

The other grouse was startled by the sudden change, uttering a panicked "Co" sound, and was about to soar into flight—

But Lin Yu’an was quicker!

Almost as soon as the first arrow was shot, his left hand had already swiftly drawn the second Beaver Bone Arrow from the Quiver!

Seamlessly completing the actions of nocking, drawing, and aiming! This set of movents seed practiced a thousand tis!

"Whoosh——!"

The second arrow followed imdiately!

The grouse, which had just flapped its wings and was no more than half a ter off the ground, suddenly paused in mid-air and then, as if caught by an invisible hand, plumted straight down from the air!

The second bone arrow precisely struck its body!

Two arrows fired in succession, both hitting the target!

"Nice!" Lin Yu’an quickly stepped forward.

He first checked the first grouse, with the bone arrowhead deeply embedded in its neck, killing it with a single blow.

Then he walked over to the second grouse, which had a similar situation; the bone arrow had pierced its chest and abdon, also a fatal wound.

This grouse was slightly smaller in size, with feathers shining softly in the sunlight, particularly those on its neck and chest, displaying a faint tallic blue-green hue from certain angles, beautifully striking.

Lin Yu’an grabbed each plump grouse in one hand and shook them proudly in front of the cara.

"Two arrows, two grouse! My self-made Beaver Bone Arrows, combined with my archery skills, are quite powerful!"

"I feel terrifyingly strong now! Is there anyone else!"

"It seems these were two grouse in love—sorry to have interrupted your romance."

He strung the two grouse together with so vine, hanging them at his waist.

"Dinner is going to be sumptuous! Now that there’s a clay pot, I can make grouse soup! Just thinking about it makes my mouth water."

As Lin Yu’an walked back, he shared his hunting insights with the cara.

"Actually, dealing with small ga like these, which isn’t especially vigilant, you can definitely use so little tricks."

"Like using stones to distract them and attract their attention, the success rate will greatly improve—but of course, your archery must be up to par."

Back at the shelter, Lin Yu’an placed the two hefty grouse on a clean, flat stone slab, beginning his eagerly awaited ’culinary creation.’

He first processed the first grouse, carefully plucking its feathers and removing its innards, which he didn’t discard but saved for later use.

Then he broke the grouse down into several large pieces and so scattered at chunks, pulling out his little clay pot.

"I’ll use it to stew a pot of delicious grouse sunchoke soup!"

The chicken at pieces were placed into the clay pot together, adding enough creek water, and then selecting a few sunchokes from storage, peeling and chopping them into rolling pieces, also added into the pot.

Adding so condensed chicken juice secretly hidden in space, followed by so chopped ginger for deodorizing.

Finally, straightforwardly adding a small handful of salt and previously collected and sun-dried wild berries.

The clay pot was steadily placed atop the circular opening above the stove, allowing the flas from below to directly heat the bottom of the pot.
