Shisui wore a face full of worry.

What troubled him most right now was this: although Uchiha Fugaku was still busy mopping up the last remnants of Hidden Blood Mist Village's forces in Land of Whirlpools, that battle would at most be finished by nightfall.

And word that Uchiha Kai had awakened had already spread.

By evening, Fugaku would surely co to see him.

But Kai hadn't awakened the Mangekyo yet—wouldn't that expose him instantly?

As Shisui voiced his concern, Nara Kazama and Hyuga Aya both frowned and looked toward Kai.

"Shisui's right."

"We have to find a way to deal with this. If you get exposed, it won't end well for us."

"If you didn't awaken Mangekyo but still had the power to annihilate the Seven Ninja Swordsn, the village would only fear you even more."

The two of them spoke in turn, their expressions heavy, brows tightly knitted.

The truth was simple—they were too weak.

Uchiha Kai was indeed strong, but only slightly stronger than an elite Jounin. He was far from the level of a Kage.

The Seven Ninja Swordsn?

Sarutobi Hiruzen, the Legendary Sannin, the Ino-Shika-Cho trio, Namikaze Minato…

Konoha had more than enough shinobi who could crush them single-handedly.

Not to ntion the clan heads and Anbu captains.

Even Danzo, who rarely left his underground lair, was more than capable.

In the original story, Danzo might not have fought much, but he was still the Second Hokage's disciple. With Hashirama's cells and Uchiha Kagami's Mangekyo transplanted, he had clashed with Orochimaru and, at the very end, used the Reverse Four Symbols Sealing Jutsu, nearly dragging Sasuke down with him.

The Seven Ninja Swordsn? Even without a full arm of Sharingan eyes, Danzo wouldn't have thought much of them.

Konoha had only tolerated their rampage because it was fighting four wars at once, and most of its hands were tied.

The title of "strongest Hidden Village" wasn't just talk—it had been earned.

Even though it had declined in recent years, with heroes like Sakumo Hatake gone, the Seven Ninja Swordsn were never considered a real threat.

If not for other fronts holding them back, they would have been wiped out long ago.

That was the reality.

So Kai's strength only stood out among the younger generation.

If he really wanted to challenge Konoha head-on, even the whole Uchiha clan behind him wouldn't be enough.

They wouldn't even need the whole village—just Minato alone, or Jiraiya and his Sage Mode with the two elder toads, could suppress nearly all of the Uchiha leadership.

And Minato with Flying Thunder God? He could reap lives at will.

That was the best-case scenario.

In truth, the Uchiha themselves were a ss. Who would listen to Kai anyway?

No—the only wise move was to lie low.

Hide. Build strength in secret. That was the key.

Just as Liu Bowen once said: store up grain, build high walls, and bide your ti.

"Don't worry, everyone."

"You've co at just the right ti—my Mangekyo has just awakened."

"Rest easy."

Kai's voice was calm and cool.

As he spoke, he opened his Sharingan.

An icy, chilling aura spread through the room as the three tomoe linked together, forming an inner yin-yang diagram and an outer hexagonal star pattern.

Profound, ancient, desolate, and mysterious.

The Mangekyo Sharingan.

The Uchiha clan's ultimate secret—their pride and glory.

Revealed before their eyes.

Shisui: "…"

Kazama: "…"

Aya: "…"

All three were shaken by the sight.

Yes.

It was unbelievable.

A few days ago, Kai had said he would awaken Mangekyo. Though they'd nodded along, deep down none of them truly believed it.

After all—it was Mangekyo.

It usually took imnse trauma, so life-shattering emotional blow, to even have a chance at awakening.

But Kai?

He was always so calm, so composed. What could possibly have "stimulated" him?

Why?

They couldn't make sense of it.

Especially Shisui—he couldn't hold back.

"Kai… can you explain?"

"According to the clan's records, only severe ntal trauma can trigger Mangekyo."

"But you haven't gone through anything like that. So how did this happen?"

Yes.

Kazama and Aya could only be surprised, but for Shisui, it was different.

He was Uchiha.

What Uchiha didn't dream of awakening Mangekyo?

And since he was close to Kai, he naturally asked directly.

Kai, however, only smiled.

"ntal trauma?"

"That's just how the Sharingan manifests outwardly. In essence, it's no different from any other ninjutsu."

"Most jutsu are based on the five basic elents: fire, lightning, earth, water, and wind. But the Uchiha and Senju clans were born with access to two special forces."

"For the Senju, Yang release. For us Uchiha, yin release."

"When the Senju develop their yang release to the extre, they beco incredibly resilient in body. And when yang combines with earth and water, it transforms into Hashirama's Wood Style."

"Why did only Hashirama ever awaken Wood Style, while the rest of the Senju never did? I think the reason is simple."

"Not only must you master yang, water, and earth individually, you must also fuse them completely."

"As for us Uchiha—the key is yin release."

"The only problem is, we never developed techniques to train yin directly. So when a Uchiha suffers emotional trauma, the brain generates a flood of yin energy on its own."

"That's what triggers the Sharingan—or even Mangekyo."

"As for , I just found a simpler way."

"A thod called… visualization."

"You choose sothing simple in your daily life, close your eyes, and picture it in your mind."

"The more vivid, the better."

"Then repeat it every day."

Kai knew exactly what Shisui wanted.

But the truth was—he had no clue how to train in release.

His system handled it automatically while he slacked off.

So he had no choice but to borrow from the novels he rembered from his previous life, cobbling together a "visualization thod" from techniques of soul cultivation.

Spirit and yin release—different paths to the sa goal.

Would it work? He had no idea.

But it was a convenient way to mislead Shisui.

Because if he didn't have an explanation, how could he justify awakening without trauma?

What would the Uchiha think? What would the Hokage's faction think?

He had to make sothing up.

If they couldn't make it work—well, that wasn't his problem.

He felt a pang of guilt toward Shisui, sure.

But it didn't matter.

Once he got a real yin training thod from the system, he could always make it up to him later.
