"The number of guards decreased?"
Uzumaki Shuji stepped out with Naruto, planning to guide him in training. The mont they left the house, he noticed sothing off. The Anbu following them had returned to their previous numbers—five in total.
But before, just the ones tailing him alone had been ten.
That ant the Anbu assigned specifically to him had withdrawn.
There was no way Naruto's protection had been reduced.
"Sothing's changed…"
"What's wrong, brother?" Naruto asked, looking confused.
"It's nothing. Sothing might happen soon."
"But don't worry. I'll be fine."
Uzumaki Shuji reached out and patted Naruto's head, though their heights were almost the sa now, making the gesture slightly awkward.
"What kind of thing?"
"Oh! I get it! It must be because you beat Shikamaru and the others too many tis—they're teaming up to deal with you, right?"
Naruto suddenly said with a confident expression.
"They're teaming up against ?"
Uzumaki Shuji froze for a mont, surprised by the unexpected intel.
"Yeah, I think so."
"Shikamaru suggested it. Choji, Kiba, and that arrogant Sasuke—they've been hanging out together these past few days. I don't know what they're doing."
Naruto nodded seriously.
"Hmm, that's probably it."
"But it won't matter. Your big brother is very strong!"
Uzumaki Shuji laughed lightly.
Their conversation was naturally recorded by the Anbu.
Only one of them—the one who had been monitoring Uzumaki Shuji for the longest ti—felt sothing was off.
"That kid noticed sothing?"
"He's sharp… makes sense. Two orphans relying on each other since childhood would be extrely sensitive to changes around them."
The Anbu silently analyzed.
Uzumaki Shuji spent the session focusing on guiding Naruto in taijutsu.
Naruto's chakra control had already improved significantly. He could climb up to ten ters on a tree in one go. His Transformation Jutsu was becoming stable.
Only the Clone Jutsu still needed work.
But his progress was obvious.
…
"It hasn't even been a week since the attack on Root. There's no way they've given up searching for already."
"So they're preparing sothing else… like before, using other villages as cover to target ?"
Uzumaki Shuji analyzed calmly.
There were only so many thods.
The reason the hidden enemy still remained in the village likely had everything to do with him and Naruto.
"All their effort is spent dealing with their own people."
"The Konoha F4 really live up to their reputation."
He sneered.
When dealing with their own, they were ruthless and ticulous.
But against enemies? Passive, submissive, even sacrificing their own.
Forcing Hizashi Hyuga to die in place of others.
Submissive outwardly, ruthless inwardly.
"Let's see what you've prepared."
Uzumaki Shuji decided not to act prematurely.
If they suspected the Uzumaki clan, then he and Naruto would naturally be tied to it.
…
"Are you all ready?"
Shikamaru Nara asked, looking at Kiba Inuzuka, Choji Akimichi, and Sasuke Uchiha.
Neji and Lee were in a higher grade and not close to them, so Shikamaru didn't include them.
Besides, he believed four against one was enough.
He had been pushed to his limit.
Getting beaten every week was unbearable.
Kiba and Sasuke looked furious, eager for revenge.
Only Choji seed relatively indifferent.
"Yeah!"
"No problem!"
"This ti, he's definitely losing!"
Choji nodded. Kiba grinned. Sasuke nodded fiercely.
"Go, Sasuke."
Shikamaru signaled.
It was Sasuke's turn today.
They all rembered exactly which day they got beaten.
Today was Monday.
Sasuke's day.
Sasuke slung his bag over his shoulder and walked out of the academy.
The others moved according to plan, spreading out to different directions.
They had morized the locations of their past beatings and planned to surround Uzumaki Shuji from four sides.
Shikamaru even prepared a specially made net.
Kiba, Choji, and Sasuke would stall Uzumaki Shuji while Shikamaru threw the net.
"Ready to get beaten again, Sasuke?"
Uzumaki Shuji stood in his usual spot, waiting.
"This ti, I'll win!!"
"Die, Uzumaki Shuji!"
Sasuke roared, venting weeks of frustration.
His panda eyes hadn't fully healed yet—faint bruises still lingered.
"Hm?"
"Attacking now… trying to fra the Uchiha?"
Uzumaki Shuji paused slightly.
He sensed three presences—behind him and to both sides.
They had chosen a crossroads in a quiet alley.
But then… he almost burst out laughing.
Choji was hiding behind a pole.
But his belly… wasn't.
"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!"
Sasuke didn't overthink it. Seeing Uzumaki Shuji distracted, he imdiately launched his technique.
The fireball was over a ter wide—already impressive.
This was the result of his recent intense training.
"Not bad."
Uzumaki Shuji leapt backward several tis, effortlessly escaping the attack.
"Take this, Uzumaki Shuji!!"
Kiba charged in on all fours, aiming straight for him.
At the sa ti, Choji rushed forward with an enlarged arm.
"So you tead up against ?"
"Too bad—it won't work."
Uzumaki Shuji smirked.
For once, he actually felt a bit entertained.
Then, less than ten seconds later—
Sasuke, Kiba, and Choji were all knocked to the ground one by one.
He used just enough strength to demonstrate overwhelming superiority in physical ability.
With his speed exceeding their encirclent, the result was inevitable.
"Now!!"
But Shikamaru, hidden in the shadows, seized the mont.
As Uzumaki Shuji stepped on Sasuke—
Shikamaru threw the net.
It spread instantly, dropping over both Uzumaki Shuji and Sasuke.
