Itachi Uchiha was just as shocked.

He had no idea what he was looking at.

The Sharingan was floating in midair, as if an eye had grown out of space itself.

"Sharingan Genjutsu."

Using the Sharingan stored inside the Gate of Babylon, Uzumaki Shuji cast a genjutsu directly at Itachi.

Caught completely off guard, Itachi was instantly trapped.

Two or three seconds later, he finally broke free.

His face was filled with disbelief.

The Sharingan could be used like this?

He had never even heard of such a thing.

How could an eye suspended in midair still activate its powers?

He couldn't understand it.

The only reason it took him so long to break the illusion was because the Chains of Heaven were suppressing his chakra flow.

Under normal circumstances, he would have escaped in less than a second.

But in battle, even one second was enough to determine life and death.

Snap.

Uzumaki Shuji snapped his fingers, releasing the rest of the chains binding Itachi.

"The order for you to capture ca from Danzo and the Third Hokage, didn't it?"

"What's their next move?"

He asked directly.

Knowing their plan would determine his next course of action.

"Danzo ordered to take you roughly five kiloters away from the village and hand you over to Root."

"If I encountered the Uzumaki survivor backing you, I was to kill him."

"Your life wasn't the priority. Eliminating him was."

Itachi answered honestly.

After seeing Uzumaki Shuji use Uzumaki Shuji's Sharingan, he fully believed that this boy truly possessed the power to change the Uchiha's fate.

Combined with his godlike knowledge of everything, Itachi felt hope for the first ti.

"That old bastard really can't let go."

"It's a sha I didn't kill him last ti. Leaving him alive was a mistake."

Uzumaki Shuji clicked his tongue.

Danzo was still obsessed with turning him into a tool.

And judging by this, he was probably acting behind the Third Hokage's back.

As expected of old partners.

Both of them wore one face in public and another in private.

"You should be able to distinguish Danzo's n from ordinary Anbu."

"Don't hand over to Root."

"Give to regular Anbu instead, then run."

There wasn't much ti, so Uzumaki Shuji focused only on the most important information.

He wasn't ready to trust Itachi completely.

But giving him enough information to inspire awe was more than enough.

"Yes!"

Itachi's heart tightened as he morized every word.

The more Uzumaki Shuji spoke, the more unfathomable he seed.

Even that mysterious "Uchiha Madara" was an open book to him.

"Orochimaru is also part of that organization."

"Try to obtain Hashirama's cells from him."

"They can mitigate the side effects of the Mangekyō Sharingan."

"There's so risk, but I think you can handle it."

"In that organization, the only ones you truly need to watch are the so-called Madara and Zetsu."

"As for the leader, he's basically an idiot. No need to worry about him."

"Just keep Konoha stable and wait for to carry."

Uzumaki Shuji continued.

Uzumaki Shuji nodded and raised Ea without hesitation.

Then he unleashed its power.

Crimson, spiraling magical energy erupted outward.

The trees ahead were torn apart instantly.

Two or three spatial fissures, each less than ten centiters wide, appeared in the air, swallowing anything that drifted too close.

The devastation lasted nearly ten full seconds before finally subsiding.

Itachi swallowed hard.

The power was terrifying.

The attack had covered an area roughly the size of two football fields.

Within that zone, not a single tree remained intact.

Everything had been reduced to splinters.

Deep layers of earth had been ripped upward, leaving behind enormous trenches.

It looked as if an earthquake had struck.

"Grab and start running."

"Use genjutsu to knock out a few of the Anbu."

"Leave one or two conscious and make it look like they're transporting ."

As he spoke, Uzumaki Shuji returned Ea and his other equipnt to the Gate of Babylon.

Only Rule Breaker remained hidden beneath his clothes, tucked into the waistband of his pants.

No matter what, he had to keep one final safeguard.

"Understood."

Itachi didn't hesitate.

But as he bent down to pick Uzumaki Shuji up, he couldn't help asking:

"Are you really only seven years old?"

"If I were twelve…"

Uzumaki Shuji replied calmly.

"I'd destroy Konoha by myself."

Itachi fell silent.

Without another word, he followed Uzumaki Shuji's instructions.

The destruction caused by Ea imdiately drew the attention of everyone nearby.

The pursuing Anbu.

Danzo's Root operatives.

All of them rushed toward the battlefield.
