Now reading: Chapter 5 5: The Great Clans of Konoha—Furious but Silent from Konoha: I’m Naruto’s Brother — Gilgamesh, a Action novel by DarkVerse.

Naruto was actually quite happy at school.

With Uzumaki Shuji around, his interactions with his peers were no longer as awkward. At the very least, the two girls who fancied themselves as his "future sisters-in-law" would talk to him.

So he was having the ti of his life.

As for Uzumaki Shuji, he was just as pleased. His point accumulation speed had increased once again.

On the second day, he switched targets. After all, each person could only be fard once a week.

This ti, it was Kiba Inuzuka.

"You're Kiba Inuzuka, right? I heard you act pretty arrogant at school!"

Uzumaki Shuji looked at Kiba, who was wrapped in a thick jacket.

"Naruto?"

"…No. Who are you?"

Kiba frowned, clearly annoyed.

Then they started fighting.

Just like the day before—except this ti, Uzumaki Shuji ca prepared with a stink bomb and flour.

Kiba was beaten into tears.

One hundred points gained.

Not as much as Sasuke or Naruto—only half—but Uzumaki Shuji was still satisfied.

At the very least, it was far more efficient than doing daily tasks.

"If there were safer ways to earn points, Uzumaki Shuji would never waste ti bullying academy students. Unfortunately, survival in Konoha demanded efficiency, not dignity."

On the third day, he chose Choji Akimichi. He simply called him "fat," and a fight broke out. By the end, Uzumaki Shuji walked away with a bag of chips.

On the fourth day, he targeted Shikamaru Nara, who imdiately surrendered.

On the fifth day, it was Shino Abura. Ard with insecticide he'd won from a shopping street lottery, Uzumaki Shuji secured victory.

On the sixth day, he challenged Neji Hyuga. Though Neji was a year older, Uzumaki Shuji still succeeded using the flour tactic.

On the seventh day, it was Rock Lee. Lee eagerly accepted the challenge. This ti, Uzumaki Shuji didn't use any tricks. He carefully controlled his strength, and after a tough fight, barely managed to win.

The ANBU compiled a report of Uzumaki Shuji's actions over the week and submitted it to Hiruzen Sarutobi.

"So he's been blocking these kids after school every day and beating them up?"

Hiruzen was astonished.

In his impression, Uzumaki Shuji had always been a polite child. He hadn't expected him to do sothing like this.

Recently, the issues surrounding the Uchiha clan had been consuming his attention, leaving him no ti to monitor Naruto.

Besides, with Iruka Umino around, any problems would be noticed and reported to him. There was no urgency.

"He's probably doing this so Naruto won't be bullied at school. With the Nine-Tails incident already known, as long as things don't escalate, just leave it be."

Hiruzen waved it off.

He had no ti to deal with minor scuffles.

He did plan, however, to speak with Uzumaki Shuji next ti they t—encouraging him to attend the academy and explaining that without proper training, he wouldn't be able to defeat these children in the future.

"Yes."

With the Hokage having no objections, the ANBU naturally had none either.

Just completing the mission was enough.

Because of Uzumaki Shuji's actions, Naruto had seemingly beco more "normal." Reports indicated that he was actually studying properly at school.

A month passed.

Uzumaki Shuji had just finished giving his little brother a couple of "loving punches" before sending him off to school.

Naruto left with a stubborn expression, clearly dissatisfied—but powerless to resist.

He couldn't win.

"What are you staring at?!"

In the classroom, Naruto noticed that Sasuke, Choji, and Kiba kept glancing at him. Already in a bad mood, he snapped.

"I'll definitely defeat your brother!"

Sasuke Uchiha declared.

"Using tricks like that… he's not honorable!"

Kiba still shuddered at the mory of the stink bomb. He had vomited nonstop after returning ho.

"Tell your brother I'm not fat!"

Choji said seriously.

"???"

"You guys got beaten up by my brother too?"

Naruto asked in confusion.

"No way!"

"Who got beaten?!"

It was just a spar!"

Kiba, Choji, and Sasuke all denied it in unison.

"So troubleso…"

Shikamaru lay sprawled across his desk like a lifeless fish, completely uninterested in getting involved.

"Class is starting! Settle down!"

Iruka entered, tapping the blackboard.

He had noticed that everyone seed more diligent this week… though also much noisier.

That week, Uzumaki Shuji earned over a thousand points again.

Beating up kids had practically beco second nature.

Of course, he didn't go too far—just enough to make them cry.

Only Shikamaru had been clever. Though unhappy, he knew he couldn't win and imdiately surrendered.

But the system didn't accept that—he had to land a beating for it to count.

The poor boy was left completely confused.

The clans of the beaten children were furious—but didn't dare speak out.

Right now, anyone with the surna "Uzumaki" in the village was untouchable.

If anything happened to the brothers, who knew whether the Hokage would hold them responsible?

And that mad dog Danzo would definitely seize the opportunity.

What they didn't know was that both of those old n were entirely focused on the Uchiha clan and had no ti to care about this.

Another month passed.

"5,500 points. Not bad."

Uzumaki Shuji looked at his total and smiled in satisfaction.

He began considering whether to expand his farming range.

But outside of the Konoha Twelve, the rest were far more dangerous.

Beating up Iruka? Naruto still had to rely on him for the next few years.

As for the gate guards… even Pain didn't walk through the front gate.

Other nad ninja were too risky.

For now, sticking to the Konoha Twelve was the safest option.

He even started wondering whether to include the four girls in his rotation.

A new month began.

Uzumaki Shuji resud his farming routine.

But this ti… he ran into a real problem.

Itachi Uchiha had appeared.
