Hashirama Senju froze when he heard Uzumaki Shuji's words.
"The current battle situation clearly favors Konoha!"
"If you want to win, you're still far from it!"
"Your strength alone is nowhere near enough to defeat Konoha!"
Hiruzen Sarutobi imdiately shouted.
He could not allow morale to collapse.
This battle had to continue.
Yet despite his words, many ordinary ninja had already begun to doubt him.
Hashirama had not explicitly condemned him.
But the fact that the First Hokage had bowed and apologized to the Uchiha said more than enough.
"What kind of delusion makes you think that this is the extent of my power?"
Uzumaki Shuji tilted his head slightly and looked at Hiruzen.
His face was filled with disdain.
"So war really is unavoidable…"
Hashirama's expression was pained.
He had never wanted to see the village he built with his own hands reduced to ruins.
He wanted to stop this.
"Konoha ninja!"
"If you fear death, then run."
"I will not pursue deserters."
"But anyone still standing with a weapon in hand…"
"…will be treated as my enemy."
"You have two minutes."
"Begin."
After saying that, Uzumaki Shuji started counting down.
Hashirama wanted to speak.
But Uzumaki Shuji imdiately reinforced his control over him through the Impure World Reincarnation seal.
"You are an important fighting force too."
"If you want to stop this war, then you'll have to do it with your fists."
"And besides…"
"With your Wood Release, rebuilding Konoha afterward won't be too difficult, will it?"
Uzumaki Shuji said calmly.
"Attack!"
"Kill Uzumaki Shuji!"
"He has desecrated forbidden techniques, enslaved the First Hokage, and seeks to overthrow Konoha!"
"He is our enemy!"
Hiruzen gave the order without hesitation.
The ninja around him hesitated.
"ANBU, move!"
Seeing their reluctance, Hiruzen barked another command.
Unlike Root, the ANBU were not bound by cursed seals.
But they were absolutely loyal to the Hokage's orders.
Obedience was the first rule of the ANBU.
"Then fight, First Hokage."
Uzumaki Shuji showed no rcy.
A limitless source of power like Hashirama was too valuable not to use.
Hashirama's face twisted with pain.
But he still slamd his palms together.
"Wood Release: Advent of a World of Trees!"
The earth exploded upward.
A massive tree burst from the ground and grew into a towering giant, blocking the advancing ANBU.
Branches split from the trunk like enormous living arms, sweeping toward the attackers.
The Uchiha imdiately followed suit.
Though moved by Hashirama's apology, they now had a king of their own.
"Protect our king!"
Fugaku Uchiha roared.
The surrounding Uchiha spread out and ford a protective wall in front of Uzumaki Shuji.
The war resud.
Hashirama's Wood Release was overwhelming.
Uzumaki Shuji's command had only been to defeat Konoha's ninja, not to kill them.
As a result, Hashirama focused on suppression.
Towering trees surged across the battlefield, physically separating Konoha's forces from the Uchiha.
The Uchiha's morale soared, but their numbers were still too few.
Facing the entire village head-on was an imnse burden.
Only a handful of enemy ninja managed to break through.
None posed any real threat.
"So this is the power of the First Hokage…"
The ninja on both sides stared in awe.
Most were too young to have ever witnessed the true strength of the God of Shinobi.
And this was only a fraction of his power.
Then suddenly—
A shrill, ear-piercing sound filled the night.
The Uchiha stared in shock at the bizarre weapon in Uzumaki Shuji's raised right hand.
Its crimson blade consisted of three spiraling segnts.
It spun rapidly, generating a terrifying force.
At its tip, a pressure that seed capable of tearing apart the world grew stronger by the second.
"You have less than one minute left to run."
Uzumaki Shuji stepped onto the Chains of Heaven and rose higher and higher.
He stopped at an altitude of nearly eighty ters.
Below him, every jutsu and projectile launched in his direction was intercepted by the chains erging from the golden ripples behind him, which illuminated the night sky.
Naruto remained sleeping peacefully behind him, suspended in the air by the chains.
Even Hashirama could feel it.
The energy gathering in the sky was frightening.
"Don't let him release it!"
"Attack with everything you have!"
Hiruzen sensed the danger as well.
Without hesitation, he created four shadow clones.
It was a heavy burden in his current state, but he had no choice.
"Uchiha, fall back!"
Uzumaki Shuji's voice rang out.
The Uchiha obeyed instantly.
Only Fugaku remained behind to provide support.
At this point, however, every Konoha ninja had focused their attention entirely on Uzumaki Shuji in the sky.
"Five Releases: Great Barrage Technique!"
Hiruzen unleashed his strongest attack.
Five elental natures rged into a devastating torrent, rivaling the power of a Tailed Beast Bomb.
At the sa ti, countless ninja around him released their own jutsu.
A storm of techniques surged toward Uzumaki Shuji.
Then Uzumaki Shuji began the chant.
"Proclaim the beginning."
"Heaven and Earth split apart."
"Void praises the act of creation."
"Before my Sword of Rupture, the world is torn asunder."
"Let the stars swirl."
"Let heaven and hell return to the eve of creation."
"Be silent in death."
"Enuma Elish!"
As he spoke the final words, Uzumaki Shuji swung Ea downward.
The crimson energy gathered at the blade's tip exploded forth in a colossal beam.
It resembled the scene from the Fourth Shinobi War, when Madara Uchiha alone overwheld an entire army with Fire Release.
But this—
Was far stronger.
The countless jutsu launched at him were swallowed instantly by the crimson torrent.
At the very front was Hiruzen's Five Releases attack.
It lasted less than a mont before being completely erased by the overwhelming power of Enuma Elish.
