Noan smiled. "Good. I understand now."
He stood and equipped every piece of gear the System had rewarded him with.
The SS-rank equipnt instantly transford into whatever attire he desired, perfectly fitting and unbelievably comfortable.
A crown of light hovered above his head, while a golden robe flowed around him — intricate runes of ancient magic shimred across its surface in a faint violet glow.
Most striking of all, a thin veil of gray mist surrounded his entire body, making it impossible for anyone to clearly see his face.
Closing his eyes, Noan focused on the anchors he had established, a faint smile forming on his lips.
The anchors in the Rank B and C zones were tied to Jankos — and the energy required to teleport there wasn’t much.
The one in the Rank A zone was linked to Lylia. Though it demanded far more resources, it was still within his ans.
Besides, he needed to et her anyway — to offer her so assistance. After all, helping her beco the next to complete the mission was part of his plan.
However, the real challenge was the Rank S zone.
I’ve heard Rank A zones often overlap with several Rank B regions, he thought. But Rank S zones are completely isolated — and there’s no such thing as a Rank SS zone.
If the Rank S zone completes this event too quickly, they’ll receive an extrely powerful reward. It’d be like giving wings to a tiger.
Noan sighed, trying to think of a way to reach the Rank S zone.
But soon after, he dismissed the idea.
At the mont, he was only Rank D. Entering a Rank S zone would be suicide.
Reaching Rank A was already a trendous risk — going any higher was simply out of the question.
Even with a single SS-rank Hero Summon and a full legion of SS-rank soldiers, it still wasn’t enough.
Summoning them was one thing — but providing the resources to level them up was another.
Frowning slightly, Noan thought for a mont before deciding to summon the SS-rank Hero first.
After all, even Rank B zones had Rank A Heroes. He couldn’t afford to be careless.
[Ding! Are you sure you want to summon an SS-rank Hero?]
"Yes."
[Ding! Summoning in progress. Please wait a mont...]
BAM!
Suddenly, a thunderclap roared through the air, startling Noan.
He imdiately left his room and looked up toward the sky.
Noan frowned in confusion and muttered, "That was definitely thunder... so why isn’t there a single lightning bolt or dark cloud in the sky?"
Everyone who had heard the deafening thunder monts ago began to look outside.
Nearly everyone within Noan’s territory — including both NPCs and Special NPCs — turned their gaze toward the sky.
At that mont, a massive tear suddenly appeared above them, widening rapidly until it revealed what looked like a cosmic expanse beyond.
The rift stretched for hundreds of miles across the heavens; anyone within the boundaries of the Chaotic Zone could see it clearly.
Behind the tear, sothing resembling a moon radiated a gentle, golden light that poured over the entire region.
"Look!" one of Noan’s NPCs shouted. "The snow... the snow is disappearing!"
Noan glanced toward the falling snowflakes — and indeed, as the NPC had said, they were vanishing one by one.
The world seed to be wrapped in a soft, golden glow, warm and tender — as if everyone had returned to the comforting embrace of a mother.
The moonlike sphere from that distant space slowly descended, slipping through the torn fabric of the sky until it hovered directly above the Chaotic Zone.
A land once filled with blood, chaos, and bone-chilling cold was now bathed in a serenity that defied description.
Monts later, the moon began to shrink and drift down toward Noan.
Everyone followed cautiously but dared not approach too close, choosing instead to observe from afar.
Violette, Maisy, Austin, Caleb, and even Alex had all arrived, staring in awe at the sight.
Austin frowned. "This is insane... Can Master really summon the moon itself?"
Everyone turned to look at him — then took a full step away.
Austin: "..."
"Oy! What’s with that attitude?"
Caleb sighed. "I just don’t want to stand next to an idiot. Move a little farther away, would you?"
"You—" Austin gritted his teeth, itching to punch Caleb square in the face.
But as he looked more closely, sothing about Caleb felt... different.
After only a few days of training under Malrik, his aura had changed noticeably — though Austin couldn’t quite tell what it was.
Alex folded his arms, his sharp gaze fixed on the descending moon. He could feel a strange pressure pressing against his back.
Yet it wasn’t the usual suffocating killing intent or the icy oppression he was familiar with.
Instead, it felt like a mother’s gentle hand resting on his shoulder — chiding him softly, yet filled with warmth and love.
Strange... he thought. What is that thing? Why does it feel so... different?
And he wasn’t the only one. Everyone present felt exactly the sa.
Maisy and Violette felt it even more vividly — as if a pair of gentle hands were wrapping around them, softly caressing their bodies, filling them with warmth and peace.
"Do you feel that too?" Maisy frowned.
"Of course!" Violette frowned as well. "But... what is it exactly? Is that thing really the moon?"
"It’s a God," a deep voice answered suddenly.
"Malrik!"
"Malrik!"
"Master!"
Everyone called out his na — everyone except Caleb, who alone addressed him as "Master."
Caleb furrowed his brows. "A God? Master, are you serious? You an... there are Gods in this world?"
"That’s right." Malrik stroked his chin, the twin flas in his hollow eye sockets flickering wildly as if in excitent. "Gods are simply what we call beings whose power has transcended far beyond our comprehension."
"Still, the Master is terrifying indeed... to think he can summon even a God."
"What?!" Everyone gasped in shock.
Alex frowned. "What did you just say? Noan... summoned a God?"
"Yes," Malrik nodded. "An SS-rank Hero — that’s the sa as a deity."
Everyone inhaled sharply, their hearts pounding so hard it felt as though they might burst from their chests.
An SS-rank Hero.
To them — aside from Alex — a Rank B existence was already soone they wouldn’t dare face, Rank A was invincible, and Rank S was the stuff of legends.
But an SS-rank Hero? That was sothing beyond even legend — so calling it a God didn’t sound wrong at all.
Alex frowned deeply.
Although he himself possessed an SS-rank talent, that wasn’t the sa as being an SS-rank Hero.
He had only a single talent — one that wasn’t too difficult to activate, though not exactly simple either.
But an SS-rank Hero was different. They possessed multiple talents and skills, and every single one of them was SS-rank.
Damn it! Alex cursed inwardly. Why does he keep getting stronger? Am I really never going to catch up to him?
At that mont, the moon hovered less than a ter above the ground before slowly shrinking.
Then, it flared with blinding light — a light so warm it felt like it was gently caressing Noan’s face.
After only a few seconds, the radiance faded, revealing a flawless figure that made everyone present gasp in awe.
"Is... is that a God?"
"Probably."
"She’s gorgeous! How can soone so beautiful even exist?"
"A God! She must be a God!"
Noan himself was montarily stunned by the sight before him.
Her long golden hair flowed freely like cascading moonlight.
Her skin was pale as snow, kissed with a faint natural blush that radiated life.
Her face was exquisite — eyes shimring with warmth and a hint of laughter. She wasn’t seductive but carried a gentle, nurturing beauty, the kind that made one want to rest in her embrace forever.
Her perfect figure was both concealed and revealed beneath a short, white dress styled like sothing out of ancient Greece.
She sat gracefully upon a crescent moon, floating in midair, her entire body radiating a soft golden glow.
Smiling tenderly, she looked toward Noan and spoke in a voice as soothing as moonlight itself:
"Are you... my Master?"
