Now reading: Chapter 180: Ch 179 door began to move from Legacy of the Void Fleet, a Action novel by Drakethedestroyer.

anwhile, Earth was accelerating toward a new phase—superluminal expansion.

The Void Fleet had just completed its full outfitting, building even more ships to reinforce its might.

After more than twenty years of relentless effort, the Void was now—without question—fully prepared, both in terms of quality and numbers. No longer did they fear as they once did, especially not after the decisive annihilation of Grand Admiral Jorkon and the 7th Light Fleet of the Minotaur Clan.

Yet, they had chosen not to pursue further. Instead of launching a full counteroffensive that could have wiped out more than half of the Minotaur Clan in a single day, they had strategically retreated.

At that ti, such caution had been necessary. Their total fleet barely numbered over a thousand ships. Leaving the Sol Region unguarded would have been too great a risk—if soone had launched an invasion in their absence, the consequences could have been disastrous.

But now, that fear was gone.

A massive defense fleet had been created—one composed of multiple sub-fleets that would remain permanently stationed within the Allied Regions to safeguard their star systems.

Kallus had personally and generously allocated over 10,000 ships to this force. The smallest of these was a frigate, while the rest included destroyers and various light cruiser classes, making the defense fleet wholly capable of withstanding any assault.

Beyond that, planetary-level capital-grade defensive systems were deployed across the Sol Region and its twenty-two star systems.

Advanced Tier-I spatial shielding arrays had been established on life-bearing planets such as Earth, as well as on Regal Star and two other critical worlds. Although the remaining two life-bearing planets hosted only primitive, barely sentient species, they were still shielded and preserved.

In total, there were eight planets in the region currently supporting life. However, Void Fleet's exploration in the past fourteen days had uncovered a startling truth—many of the sixteen remaining star systems in the Sol Region, despite having habitable zones, were now barren.

Yet evidence suggested that these planets were once teeming with life. The lack of mana in the surrounding space had caused them to collapse into desolation—victims of past civilizations that had drained planetary life force for cultivation.

If restored to their original state, the region would have supported 28 life-bearing planets in total.

Furthermore, the material wealth of the region was staggering. Countless mineral-rich planets and moons dotted the region, and the asteroid belts surrounding the Regal Star System held untold reserves of precious resources. When viewed in its entirety, the Sol Region could be considered a galactic treasure trove.

Back to the universal plane...

In one part of the Organ Plains, which Kallus had long dubbed a part of the Endless Forest—despite being endlessly roasted for it by Luna, his mother Alie, and even his father—stood a peculiar location.

Still, no matter how often they mocked him, no matter how hard their words stung like arrows piercing his pride, Kallus remained stubborn. That nickna stuck in his mind, and so did his belief in the deep mystique of that land.

This place bore a strange, serene stillness—a clean field, much like the one Kallus had used for cultivating during his deep comprehension of the Myths of Law. There, he had refined knowledge tied to his bloodline, physique, and soul.

The key difference was location.

Where Kallus had cultivated near the outer-core of the Endless Forest, this site was far deeper—in the boundary region between the middle and lower zones of the forest.

A place brimming with beasts of terrifying rank—ranging from Paragon-level creatures to those in the early World Builder stage… and so even rumored to be on the verge of breaking into the Genesis Comprehension Realm.

Today, the area buzzed with tension and anticipation.

Kallus stood alongside Luna and his mother Alie, each accompanied by their respective Guardian Beasts:

The Wolf of Destruction, the loyal guardian of Kallus.

The twin phoenixes, Solaris and Lunara, representing fla and frost, guarding Luna and Alie respectively.

Along with them were several elite mbers of Kallus's personal forces:

Imperial Guard Commander Emma, whose cultivation path followed the unique way of the stars.

A full contingent of Imperial Guards, all exceptional cultivators.

The ever-formidable Azra, and other Grand Admirals.

Close allies such as Tyler, Tessa, Marcus, Raj, and many more.

In total, over a thousand key figures had assembled here—for one singular purpose: to witness a breakthrough.

Kallus's father stood at the threshold of transcending into the Genesis Law Realm. Upon his call, they had all gathered—not just to honor him, but to learn. For many of them, their own cultivation paths were approaching this very stage. A firsthand glimpse at the process could prove invaluable.

Even more so, should his father succeed in breaking through, there was a chance it would trigger a Law Manifestation, an extraordinary event where raw laws of existence visibly converge and resonate.

Such a phenonon would benefit all present—accelerating their insights and shaping their future cultivation.

Kallus's father sat suspended just above the ground—levitating in a ditative posture, his legs folded, palms resting gently on his knees. His aura was calm, yet beneath that calm ran a river of imnse power, tightly compressed and waiting to be released.

Slowly, he opened his eyes, revealing a deep, storm-like brilliance within them. He scanned the horizon, his gaze brushing over the thousands who had gathered—friends, family, commanders, and guardians—before finally pausing on his wife, Alie.

She stood tall beside Luna, her poise graceful as ever, but in her eyes flickered a trace of worry—the kind only a loved one could feel.

It wasn't fear of death—no, not that. Alie was far too powerful, and with her current cultivation and the capabilities of her bloodline, she could resurrect her husband if needed, or at the very least heal almost any injury short of soul obliteration. But the risk of failure still lingered in her heart.

This was no minor step. From the World Builder Realm to the Genesis Law Realm, the gulf was vast. The tribulation lightning that followed such a breakthrough was not only devastating in scale, but tailored by the laws themselves to test the soul, body, and will of the one ascending. And if he failed… all his years of accumulation would collapse into regression. Starting over would take decades, possibly centuries.

She couldn't help but worry.

He smiled gently at her. From hundreds of kiloters away, that smile still reached her heart. Despite the distance, his aning was clear.

And in response, she whispered under her breath, "Be safe."

He heard it—not through sound, but through bond.

Then his gaze shifted to Luna, and finally to Kallus. Father and son locked eyes, and in that silent mont, an unspoken exchange passed between them. A nod. A connection. An acknowledgnt.

They were ready.

He drew in a deep breath, and then spoke, his voice ringing out with power across the vast plain, yet warm and grounded:

"Everyone, the ti has co. I'm going to challenge the boundary now.Be ready... the tribulation clouds will arrive soon."

He slowly closed his eyes, drawing in a long, controlled breath as the world around him faded from focus. His attention turned inward, diving deep into the boundless expanse of his own body, spirit, and strength.

He began circulating his cultivation technique—the Divine Origin Sutra, a supre path passed only to a chosen few. The energy within him began to surge. One cycle… two cycles… three…Faster. Faster.

The flow of mana grew exponentially until every pore, every cell, and even his dantian pulsed with pure, primordial mana—refined and ancient, resonating with the very foundation of the universe.

Even his Inner World—a vast spiritual domain shaped by his will—was not spared. As the mana surged into it like a tidal flood, the entire dinsion shook violently, as if drowning under an unstoppable tide. For a mont, it seed the very structure of his inner world might collapse… until it stabilized under his unshakable control.

Then ca the mont of truth.

He turned his focus toward the one obstacle that had kept him from transcending—the gigantic, ethereal white door that barred entry to the Genesis Law Realm. Within his spiritual sea, his spiritual figure appeared before it—majestic, glowing with divine might.

Summoning all the energy he had cultivated over the decades, he began pouring every drop of mana, soul force, and physical power into that form. Then, with a silent roar in his mind, he placed his hands against the door… and pushed.

Nothing happened at first.

Seconds dragged on. The door didn't budge.

But he didn't stop. He continued to cycle his cultivation, burning through mana at an astonishing rate, maintaining an unbroken stream of power into his spiritual body. The pressure grew. His veins throbbed. Even space itself seed to strain under the intensity of his force.

And then—slowly, ever so slowly—the door began to move.

Outside, the changes were impossible to ignore. The sky above his real body began to distort.
