Now reading: Chapter 417: Ch from Legacy of the Void Fleet, a Action novel by Drakethedestroyer.

And both of these were things the Imperium desperately wanted.

With clans like the Orcs, who could reproduce and expand themselves at an unmatched pace, and with the vast amount of territory under their control, they possessed more than enough resources to outfit their armies, no matter how crude their equipnt might be.

And no matter how much the Imperium prepared, they were always outnumbered by the Orcs.

The saying that "two hands cannot fight four" was extrely real in this situation.

Without the countless sacrifices of brave Imperium soldiers and the importance many races placed upon the Seers of the Imperium, they might truly have already reached a point where even their survival as a civilisation could be questioned.

And thus, when they were first inford about such weapon systems during Lady Yan Shi’s visit, they had strongly urged the Void Humans to prioritise both the offensive and defensive planetary weapon systems.

Even though they had still held so doubts at the ti, they nevertheless ordered six batches of both systems in advance, intending to deploy them within the border star systems neighbouring Orc-controlled territories.

Partly to test them.

And partly to defend against the Orcs if the systems truly perford as promised.

Now, after seeing the specifications and projected performance of these weapons with their own eyes, Kronos and the Ministry of Defence representatives felt their breaths catch within their throats.

They finally realised that their worries in this matter had been misplaced.

The Void Humans had truly brought exactly what they had promised.

Without exaggeration.

Without deception.

And because of that, nearly eighty percent of the worries and pressure weighing upon their hearts had already disappeared.

With only a few successful live tests remaining, they knew their hearts would completely settle.

At that point, they would be one hundred percent relieved and able to confidently deepen trade with the Void Humans.

Perhaps even slowly move the relationship toward a far closer strategic partnership in the future.

Looking at each other with similar expressions, Kronos stepped forward first and praised openly,

"Great, truly great!! These specifications, the power, the capabilities of the weapon systems, ships, chs, starfighters, combat armours, and planetary weapon systems have been more than satisfying enough!!"

He praised them without holding anything back.

"With these weapons, there is a possibility for a great turnaround for my Imperium... and for the partnership between our two powers, Lady Luna..."

Kronos and the others continued having small discussions with Luna and the other representatives for a while before finally moving toward the matter they truly wished to discuss.

Straightforwardly, Kronos spoke,

"Lady Julie, Benjamin, and everyone else... I wish for even greater collaboration with all of your companies."

"Ohh?"

Hearing this, Julie and the others’ eyes slightly lit up as they imdiately understood where this conversation was heading.

And honestly, this was exactly what they themselves had also been hoping for.

Thus, they calmly listened.

And just as expected, Kronos proposed the very thing they wished to hear.

"I ask you all... have you ever considered establishing your branches here? Not rely the kind you currently possess, but true production hubs within regions ruled by the Imperium?"

"If you are willing, then let say this plainly... for the coming twenty years, I am prepared to grant complete tax benefits!

Even land allocation for factories and all kinds of additional support without excessive conditions!"

"This would benefit both you and us alike, would it not?" he asked in a hopeful tone, careful not to sound overly forceful while still revealing his genuine desire for cooperation.

Though Julie and the others had expected such a proposal, they knew they could not simply accept it imdiately.

They needed approvals as well... or at least that was what the Imperium should feel.

After all, if they accepted too easily, how would they gain even greater support, benefits, and favourable conditions for their companies and future growth?

Knowing this, they all deliberately pretended to look troubled before turning toward Luna.

Luna understood imdiately and gave a small nod before turning toward Kronos.

"This is indeed a very good proposal, Prince Kronos... however, it would require further discussion before such a step could be approved.

Not to ntion, there are already many things your Imperium must first accomplish before we could proceed further..."

As she spoke, she deliberately paused there.

But that alone was already enough of a hint.

If they were smart enough, they would naturally understand what she ant.

And clearly, Kronos and the ministers did.

The corners of their mouths twitched slightly as they realised the aning behind her words.

What she was essentially saying was: ’First fulfil and properly implent the agreents already made between us before we discuss even deeper business cooperation.

We have already fulfilled our side of the deal.

Now it is your turn.’

Thinking about this, Kronos could only sigh inwardly with a bitter yet sowhat amused expression.

Still, he nodded and replied seriously,

"Do not worry, Lady Luna. We Imperials are bound by our words and promises.

Now that your side has fulfilled its part, and that too within such an unbelievably short period of ti, we shall naturally fulfil the conditions on our side as well."

Hearing this, Luna rely nodded casually with a faint smile on her face.

There was no need to say anything further.

The understanding between both sides had already beco clear enough.

Following that, many other higher officials also began discussing their own ideas while making their intentions for future collaboration equally obvious.

So wished for technological cooperation. Others wanted trade agreents. And so hoped for educational exchanges.

For example, the Dean of the Imperial Academy directly proposed establishing an exchange program so that their students could study within the academies of the Void Fleet.

To this, Luna gave a response similar to the one she had given Kronos.

She agreed that such cooperation was possible in the future, but also made it clear that several matters first needed to be settled before they could proceed further.

Along with approvals from higher authorities and additional formal procedures.

Then there was the Minister of Resources, who proposed allowing the Void Fleet to participate in bidding for resource-rich celestial bodies within the vast territories controlled by the Imperium and jointly develop them together.

At the sa ti, he subtly hinted that such cooperation would greatly lower the cost of materials and many other related expenses.

Which Luna naturally caught onto imdiately.

"I will consider this matter further and confirm it with you once I receive instructions from above," she replied calmly.

This response imdiately excited the Minister of Resources, as unlike many of the others, he had not been directly or indirectly rejected.

That alone already made him quite happy.

anwhile, several of the other officials felt sowhat disappointed inwardly, though none dared show it openly on their faces.

After a couple more rounds of small talk, the three hundred warships, including:

3 Indigo-class dreadnoughts, 28 Nesis-class destroyers with maximum lengths of nearly eight kilotres, 4 Regimon-class battle carriers, 12 Gaia-class battlecruisers standing nearly five kilotres long each, and finally the Trident-class destroyers with maximum lengths of around two kilotres, slowly moved out from the Tier 4 mothership under the control of the crews Kronos had brought together with him.

One after another, they spread out across the surrounding space around the station.

anwhile, the mothership Gwen slowly entered Hangar Number One before docking in a semi-floating state.

At the sa ti, more and more Imperium-stationed cargo movers began their work, slowly transporting massive quantities of chs, starfighters, weapon systems, and countless other military assets toward another secured hangar under strict monitoring and supervision.

After a few hours of continuous work, everything that needed to be unloaded and transported had finally been moved to their designated locations.

With that done, Luna waved toward Prince Kronos and the others before departing.

Soon after, the mothership Gwen exited Hangar One and regrouped with its accompanying fleet.

Under the watchful gazes of Kronos and the others, the massive fleet slowly moved away before disappearing entirely as it directly jumped into hyperspace.

Not long after the Gwen and its fleet left the system, another enormous fleet arrived near the space station.

This ti, however, it was composed mainly of Tier 2-level transport motherships.

From them, thousands upon thousands of shuttles quickly departed.

Most headed directly toward the newly acquired warships that had just been delivered by Luna and the Void Fleet.

anwhile, a smaller number of shuttles landed directly within various hangars of the station itself.

From there, countless starfighters, chs, combat equipnt, ammunition, and various other military assets were rapidly moved toward their designated ships in a highly coordinated manner.

All these brand-new superior weapon systems, since they had been developed specifically around the Imperium’s needs, also possessed control systems not very different from the Tier 2-class weapons the Imperium forces were already familiar with.

This made it significantly easier for ch pilots to quickly get accustod to their new chs, starfighters, combat systems, and so on.
